Baja tacos , taquitos *corrected (birria) , margarita flight , Birria Tacos
Joana P.

Came here on a whim with my friend . Least to say I'm unfortunately not coming back . I only say unfortunately because the only thing I did enjoy was the Baja tacos (battered) honestly. It was our first time there and this was disclosed to our waitress ( I didn't catch her name but as description goes she had brown hair, septum piercing , morning glory tattoo) and Our waitress kept calling us dude??? Not sure what that's about but I guess most of their employees don't really have proper serving or customer service etiquette to start. Idk the vibes were off to begin with we had asked to sit outside because everybody was lowkey sardined in there . So it was nice to have the option to sit out there . The menu was confusing like why am I looking at brunch menu mixed with non brunch menu items ? Honestly don't understand the point of the appetizer section when they're priced at entree fees ... $32 for appetizers is NUTS . We tried the taquitos (birria) and they brought out chicken taquitos ... which wasn't something I was all that bothered by because the guy was apologetic about it but it's like idk maybe if our initial waitress took notes instead of rushing us they probs would've gotten it right but I digress ... We got a margarita flight and it was probably the most disgusting thing ever . Tasted like flavored simple syrup mixed with hand sanitizer . The presentation was cute I guess but the taste did not add up . ( only ate the gummies tbh) which we kinda forced ourselves to drink bc $$$ & after I asked for a ginger ale which tasted FUNKY . I was basically parched the whole time. My friend got the Birria taco , she said it was too salty & the consume was definitely lacking some sort of flavor. I'm sure there's other stuff on the menu that is good but I can't justify coming back to experience to such sh**y service it's just not worth it but I also think but because I came in for tacos Tuesday the Baja tacos were $8 I guess it's the only thing that was " worth it". I don't like to be that guy sending everything back and being complicated so that's why I'm here writing this .

We had a great experience! The service was amazing our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as we sat down, we were served water, chips, and salsa, and the staff kept our chips and salsa refilled throughout the meal. We tried the vegan chorizo tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The margaritas were also fantastic and a great value for the price. Ambiance is mellow perfect for a night out if you're craving tacos and margaritas, ill definitely be back!

Cali burrito and 3 street tacos

Absolutely terrible food. Ordered the cali pastor burrito and there was barely any meat, just all potato and beans. Told the waitress I didnt like it and she didnt do anything about it. The girlfriend ordered the 3 street tacos, 1 Asada(good), 1 birria(amazing), and 1 potato("worst taco she's ever had"). $40 too is crazy for what we ordered. Also when you walk in, it gives off dive bar vibes, but in the back is a dance club. Definitely do not recommend food here.

Chorizo mulita!

Came here for a fundraiser and ordered mulitas (asada and chorizo) so good and flavorful! Service was great and they were on it, constantly asking if we needed anything. Its a fun atmosphere! Looking forward to trying some of their other food. Margarita was strong!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves it. The food was AMAZING and the service was just as good -- and for me, both matter. Sometimes a restaurant has good food but bad service, and it ruins the whole experience. But here, everything was perfect. The vibe is super cool and fun, great atmosphere, live DJ, good music, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I normally do NOT like shrimp. but the shrimp dish here was honestly one of the best dishes I've ever tried. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and unique. Definitely one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend!

My go to meal here is specifically something light and good. Don't want anything too heavy, especially dancing on the dance floor, lol! The Irish Country Salad I posted in the pic has apples, goat cheese, candied walnuts, croutons, frisee, radicchio, drizzled with honey vinaigrette. I highly recommend this salad when coming here! Our server, Devin was pretty good despite the place was packed and he had alot of tables to wait on. My food came out pretty quick and he did check up on our table from time to time which is awesome. Never had an issue here service wise. Wednesday nights are always a fun night here with food, singing, and dancing!

Macallan's has the look of an Irish pub; dark wood, Celtic décor, the whole atmosphere is there…read more But if you're going to lean into Irish identity, the details matter, especially with Guinness. I've watched it poured straight into a regular pint glass with no 45-degree angle and no pause for the proper two-step pour. It comes out flat, with barely any creamy head, which completely changes the texture and experience. Guinness isn't just another draft beer; it needs to settle, and it should be served in a proper tulip or Guinness glass to get that classic presentation. The fix is simple: slow the pour down and train the staff on the traditional method. The pub has the vibe. Now it just needs to respect the pint.

We ordered from the preset menu and went with tacos and enchiladas -- everything was delicious. The ceviche was a huge hit, while the carnitas and steak tacos were definitely crowd favorites. The enchiladas were also incredibly tasty. I highly recommend hosting your events here, or even stopping by for a date night or girls' night out. Their weekend brunch is amazing too! I had not noticed that they had some healthy items on their menu so I decided to walk in. This time I was by myself and did not have my wallet with me so I asked if I could use Apple Pay to pay which you can. I decided to sit at the bar by myself. The bar area had a good ambience with a game from the Dodgers playing. The bartender was really friendly and made me feel welcomed. Once I ordered my beer came out pretty quick and my burger followed not too long after. I ordered the bison burger, and it was really good. I saw a few other items that would be guiltless or not as unhealthy that I will most likely try on a different location after the gym when I'm hungry and don't feel like cooking afterwards.

The hostess happily accommodated us (and we did hear that child scream and cry several times during the time we were there). We were seated in a booth, but unfortunately, we were across from a group of two women and one man who kept saying every version of "f***" there was. We really didn't need to hear any of that especially with our daughter with us. People really need to have more class. Ryenne was our server who told us it was only his third day training at Finney's. We all thought he did a great job! He was extremely friendly, talkative seemed excited and happy to be working here. Our food was really good! We were all in the mood for some type of burger. My husband had the Wagyu Burger, which he said was excellent! My daughter had to Finney's Craft Burger, which she enjoyed. And I ordered the new Turkey Burger with it lettuce wrapped. It was really good! I ordered one order of large french fries, which we all shared and was plenty for the three of us to share. We started with the Crispy Brussels which were so crunchy and delicious! My daughter also really enjoyed her Sprite Dirty Soda. We'll definitely be back in the near future ard hopefully not be seated close to any classless patrons.

Came for a girls lunch date earlier to this weekend and this spot did not disappoint!…read more THE SERVICE: 5/5 - Quick, friendly, accommodating, and our waiter made a real effort to engage in conversation with us. The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina.
