I ordered the small ceviche to-go with cooked shrimp and raw fish, it came to $20. I thought that was a bit costly for a "small" batch of ceviche with 5 tostadas but in the end it was perfect. I gave this place 2 stars because the service was very good and the food was ok, however I don't appreciate how sneaky and deceitful they are with their prices. Wayyyyyy overpriced for what you get. I understand if the food was exceptional and the servings were large, but neither is the case. They have a $2.99 surcharge for avocado, but they don't tell you. Conveniently located off of the 91 this seafood restaurant does not disappoint! I was skeptical of ordering seafood "to go" at almost 8pm but am so glad I did! The restaurant was clean, had good music and the customer service was friendly! Almost wished we would have dined in! We ordered Ceviche "El Cocido" y "El Gobernador"at the restaurant and wait ones about 10 minutes to get our food. The ceviche was a size Medium and it was enough for 6 tostadas! EVERYTHING about this cooked shrimp ceviche was fresh! The shrimp was cooked perfectly; not mushy or chewy the veggies were crisp and fresh and the taste was extraordinarily refreshing! There was no hiding behind a Clamato base or lime water; you could taste the shrimp, cucumber, tomato and onion, each ingredient complimented each other simply but perfectly! The "Gobernador" was new to me, it was a Guizado of cooked shrimp with a tomato sauce between a fried tortilla shell and cheese. It was tasty! Came with a green tomatillo salsa that really added dimension to the red tomato sauce from the guizado. I would say due to the sauciness of the Guizado the tortilla does get a bit soggy but I did not mind at all! If you're looking for a definite crunch you should order this as a dine in customer! They don't clean the shrimp. So all shrimp has caca in it. We complained to the manager and she told us straight up that they don't clean the cooked shrimp. But my family and I found it in both the cooked and uncooked shrimp. Just disgusting.!!! Don't recommend. read more

This place is sooo yummy, 10/10 the ceviches are fresh, and the service is really good. Unfortunately they don't t serve the gobernador tacos, sooo if you are pregnant I would not recommend going here since mostly everything is raw seafood. And it would be nice to keep the customer restrooms clean, when I went last week there was no soap or napkins and the toilet look dirty...really important point of a restaurant.
