My coworkers and I always eat here once a week! This is a hidden gem! Great food! Awesome hospitality, our beautiful red head Savannah goes above and beyond! Her smile when we walk in the door with the service is unforgettable! The food is always consistently fresh!

Surf and turf burrito should be called dirt burrito because that is what it is mostly made up of.

The food is SO terrible. The kitchen is filthy. Not just the kitchen, but the whole restaurant is covered in dirt. Very expensive and the service is very rude. Expect to be treated like a criminal. It seems this place is where criminals go to get drunk and smell bad. Take a look at the $20 burrito...

This spot isn't bad but wasn't great and was oddly expensive for what I got. Food was seasoned well and not too greasy. The customer service was alright but after dropping off the food we never really saw them again. A surprise mariachi band showed up to play live music, it was just a little loud given the space. read more

I came into Mr. Taco while I was waiting for my car's service to be finished right next door. This little place really packs a punch. Selection: I came in around Saturday at 9 am and it seemed like the local hangout for some drinks and great food that morning! I was super hungry for some breakfast and they had a wide selection. I ended up getting Chilaquiles with chicken and a birria breakfast burrito with was super affordable. Definitely wanna come back next time to try the oysters! read more

The sun was shining on my face. I don't know who came over to our table to recommend a tequila for our flight. Dame Mas was a very good choice. My wife is more of a tequila drinker than I am. I did hog up the Dame Mas to myself. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. I recommend ordering the bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with crab meat; it's the best. We loved the food and the drinks. I also recommend the Black Widow, a very good drink to end our dinner date.

The flavor was bland and ate watery. My sister ordered tortilla soup and she didn't like it. There was no broth, and too many veges and cheese.

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. A lot of coffee shops are so brightly lit and trying to be hipster still in 2026, but this place is just kind of homey and the classic cozy coffee shop we all want to go to. So if you're a hardcore coffee connoisseur and are looking for the highest quality coffee, this might not be your spot. I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. Don't EVER go there seriously one of the worst dining experiences of my life! The food is mediocre at best and the place is jam packed with cholos and drug dealers! The food is nicely presented but lacks any flavor and is generally over cooked. They are seriously understaffed and their labor practices seem exploitative. There were at least 75 people with only one server, one cashier and 2 cooks (from what I could see but the place is super small so you can see pretty much see everything from everywhere). The customers were drinking A LOT and the young server was just trying to avoid being groped by the drunk cholos and other lowlifes. The prices are low for very large portions but it's definitely not worth it. At one table there were two bald headed cholos in white t-shirts counting thousands of dollars in hundred dollar bills out in the open.While ordering 40 after 40. The craziest part is we weren't there very long at all because an even rougher crowd started rolling in and we literally just left our food and got the hell out of there. It's seriously dangerous. Responding to Fernando B message in which he responded to my review. Anna apologized but it was a VERY RUDE apology and it wasn't sincere. She did not remake our food. She DID NOT REFUND OUR MONEY. She wouldn't even do that. I given Mr Taco 5 stars in the PAST. After that last experience u guys definitely DO NOT DESERVE THAT. I will never go to this place ever again. I was still very upset that I wasted my money on my food like legit this time I wasted my food. I didn't even finish my nachos I ended up throwing it away. So I called my bank to dispute the amount of money being spent. I SHOULD HAVE DISPUTED THE WHOLE AMOUNT. read more

Terrible terrible service and they will never replicate the same meal, burrito, taco, etc. I have to admit. When they make it right 1 of 4 times then it is really good. If you want to dine in. It is more for the rowdy crowd. Music is blasting so you cannot talk and it is a bunch of men drinking beer. They don't respond to feedback or complaints. If you get the wrong order. They will say, no it's not. Haha. I am a gambling man. So I have eaten here a lot in hopes of a 1 in 4 chance of good food. I live 1 minute away also. read more

Taco Tuesday is awesome, with 1.25 tacos usually asada y pollo. But they are big and I enjoy the chips and salsa provided at no charge. I also like the outdoor seating area, great for groups. I think the michalada was a little pricy but worth it. read more
