    Restaurant week menu
    Jeff F.

Came here for the restaurant week menu. Was mostly interested in the ribeye steak, but to be honest it was the part of the meal I liked least. Wasn't bad, just super fatty and not salted enough. I hate to say it, but a sirloin at Texas Roadhouse tastes better. But I did enjoy the meal overall and the service and ambiance is top notch! Would definitely go back but probably wouldn't order a steak.

Food - 4 Service - 3 Ambiance -4 Went on a Tuesday night while visiting from out of town and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was practically empty, so we sat in the bar/lounge area. The host and other staff were friendly. Our waiter came off a little smug at first and barely cracked a smile. He honestly seemed a bit annoyed that he had to wait on us, which felt very unfriendly. My friend managed to get him to loosen up a bit as the night went on though, so maybe that's just his personality. To his credit, he was very informative when it came to the main course options. The lighting was dim and intimate. Ambiance was simple and modern. I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the beef Wellington. Honestly, after tasting my fish, he ended up enjoying my sea bass more than his own dish. The sea bass was like butter, just as the waiter described it. If fish could fall off the bone, this one would have. It came with rice, cashews, and a ginger miso sauce. The cashews added a really nice crunch and texture and the flavors worked really well together. I thoroughly enjoyed it as b the only downside was the portion size. Like a lot of nicer restaurants, you get one small piece of fish... about the size of my pinky finger. My friend's beef Wellington, on the other hand, was just okay. He didn't say it was bad, but it definitely didn't stand out, especially compared to the sea bass. We also ordered potatoes as a side and the white truffle Caesar salad. The salad was good and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. The potatoes were solid too and paired well with the meal. Dessert, unfortunately, was not it! We ordered the Wicked Sundae. Our waiter had actually recommended the banana pudding or the chocolate tart, but we decided to try something else. We probably should've taken his advice. The sundae tasted mostly like ice cream and was missing the main part of the dish -- the brownie. Nothing to run home about, and it also happened to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Definitely not worth it.

Wicked Butcher is giving sultry steakhouse vibes in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is clean, chic, and effortlessly cool -- and let's talk about that playlist... absolutely bomb. The music set the tone for an unforgettable night! I loved seeing the steaks and oysters beautifully displayed, and the open kitchen was such a nice touch -- watching the chefs in action added to the whole experience. Our waiter was phenomenal -- super accommodating, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs all night. We shared the cowboy steak ($72) sliced for two and WOW... perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a moment. The sides to choose from ranged between $16-$18 We ordered the creamed spinach and it was rich and delicious. The wedge salad was fresh and satisfying. The corn brûlée? A crowd favorite -- everyone at the table was obsessed! The only miss for us was the mac and cheese -- good texture, but it didn't leave a lasting flavor impression. What truly made the night special was the energy -- the experience felt personal, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. Wicked Butcher didn't just serve a meal... they created a memory. 10/10 would recommend for celebrations, date nights, or when you just want to feel fancy and fed.

Fun slider place in lower greenville. I wish when you got the dozen pack you could try all the flavors but you have to get a min of 3 of 1 kind. It was fun to try them.

Service, Ambiance and quality of food was excellent. I sat by the bar, and I was served by a younger bartender, he was GREAT. Great conversationalist. Highly recommend the Salmon Tartare as an app. I had the filet for the main, it was ok, over cooked, but edible. Lastly i finished up with the Sunday, which was awesome! Cocktails were great too

I stopped in early on a Friday night, grabbed a seat at the bar, and enjoyed dinner while reading my book. I wanted to try a few different things, and overall it was a great experience! The ribeye was tasty -- I might've preferred a little more marbling, but it was still flavorful and cooked well. I tried the crème brûlée with mangoes, but since crème brûlée is my all-time favorite dessert, I might be a little picky -- it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. The service was wonderful, and the vibe was relaxing -- perfect for a solo dinner. Definitely a place I'll come back to!

Came for restaurant week dinner. I enjoyed walking in and being able to see in the kitchen and a few of the steaks. Service was top notch here too. Very quick and friendly. Before we even ordered, we got complimentary champagne, bread, and I think fried risotto balls. The bread reminded me of a Yorkshire pudding. It was so fluffy but with the rosemary butter was absolutely delicious. I kept eating more of it than I needed to. For my first course I got the beef tartare. I love beef tartare and this one did not disappoint. First, the presentation was amazing coming in in a bowl of black rice. Then eating each one were five delicious very big bites. The tartare with the cream and the roe all together was perfect. I tried some of the tartare on its own and it was great just like that too. For my main, I got the ribeye which came with asparagus and potatoes. Once again, the rosemary butter came in clutch for the potatoes. The steak was cooked perfect to medium rare but was lacking flavor I'd expect from a ribeye. Was still good but not the best I've had. Moving on to dessert, I got the chocolate tort. This was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. It was very chocolaty but not too rich which can sometimes happen. Even already being full, I ate every bite of the tort.

If you're looking for a great steakhouse downtown with great food and a sophisticated atmosphere be sure to check out Wicked Butcher! We visited here during restaurant week and did their restaurant week menu. Despite this, we were still treated as if we were dinning from the regular menu. We were provided with complimentary bubbles as we got seated, a little palate cleanser and a large bread (I believe it's Yorkshire pudding). For an appetizer I had the braised tenderloin hummus and it was delicious. Next, I had the ribeye- it was cooked perfectly. It was a phenomenal steak and a 16oz steak meant I had leftovers to take home. Finally, their chocolate tart was divine and very rich. The staff and service was very attentive and didn't leave no stone unturned. I appreciate when the staff handles the small things- ensuring your water is always filled, new cutlery at every step, and the presentation of it was very smart. I definitely want to come back and order more from the regular menu!

    Ny strip (ordered ribeye)

Y'all, I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately it fell short for me. Came in tonight for a good middle of the week break from cooking with eyes wide for a delicious meal. The setting was beautiful, we were seated quickly, and our server was great. We ordered the wicked smoked old fashioned and the stone fruit old fashioned. The drinks were delicious, cheers to the bar tender! Next came the sample taste of fried risotto and it was delicious. Our salads were on par for a good steak house (Ceasar and wedge) and the bread and butter were divine. So far so good. But everything after was less than stellar. We ordered 2 ribeyes and received one ribeye and one new your strip. The Ribeye was ordered medium and came a little under temp but the flavor was good. I ordered my ribeye rare plus and got a NY strip that was cooked to the right temp, but when I asked about the cut, I was told it was a ribeye just hand cut closer to the strip side. No immediate offer to bring me the appropriate steak. I tried the steak and it lacked flavor, was extremely tough to cut and extreme difficult to chew. The server noticed I only took two bites, and asked how everything was tasting, I unfortunately had to say I could not eat it, then I was offered a re-fire which I kindly declined. They did remove it from my check without having to ask so I was thankful for that. I seriously do not like complaining and rarely send food back. We may try again and just not order steak.

Was looking forward to the amuse-bouche and/or popovers that I read others describe but we didn't get any. After receiving drinks, we got our entrees and two sides. My pork chop was great. The side of mashed potatoes was at best room temperature. We mentioned it to the server and he took it back to the kitchen. A manager-type came by and wanted to know if everything else was good and said they were remarking the potatoes. It was hot the second time. I'd have been embarrassed if I were the restaurant and taken it off the bill or offered a free dessert. Not Wicked Butcher.

    Steak Frites Sandwich

Great steak frites sandwich! This location is in the middle of downtown Dallas, with a very posh upscale feel. The menu is notably small and our server paced our meal well. The steak frites sandwich had well-seasoned filet mignon and tasty shoestring fries on top.

It was such a treat to walk into Wicked Butcher. Very modern decor and worth any influences visit. The drinks were strong and beautifully prepared. Service definitely A1. The food choices were not the most vast but good. The appetizers definitely overshadowed the main courses in taste. My friends had the steak frites and were just ok with their meal. Since I am unable to eat beef their underwhelming response kinda made me sad. Our server i believe his name is Michael was just great and made up for it. They have the cutest patio where a group of gals can dream they're on a runway. Definitely a must try so you can get your own take.

We had seen wicked butcher on yelps list of best steakhouses and wanted to try it out! We were celebrating my birthday and it was very nice that they brought us champagne for the occasion! I ordered the ribeye and my girlfriend got a fish dish. I also asked for the triple butter on top of my steak. The steak was very good and tasty and had a nice crust and my girlfriend like her dish as well! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is our waitress was a little snippy and had a bit of an attitude and they didn't have two dishes that we wanted to order but other than that everything was very good! Also, the cake that they brought out for my birthday was surprisingly delicious! Normally these kinds of cake are just eh but this was very tasty as was our actual dessert we ordered (chocolate cake)! I would recommend!

Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. Upon entering you're met with dim lights, deep burgundy leather seats and images of musicians painted in every corner. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Our table wasn't quite ready so we were asked to wait at the bar for short while. We started the celebration early by ordering a few drinks and by the time they arrived, our table was ready. We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! To wrap it all up we of course ordered the 24 layer strawberry cake. The cake was bought out with a candle and 4 glasses of bubbly which was a very nice treat. Drake's met all my expectations and more. A huge thank you to the manager stopping by to make sure all was well throughout our meal. And also our waitress for her professionalism, knowledgeable and all around pleasant vibe. Drake's is now on my love list!
