Quiet, small Mexican restaurant that was managed by a single person in the kitchen and on the floor. I visited on a sleepy weeknight and found this to be a quaint, intimate family owned spot with pretty cheap prices and good food. The menu is standard Mexican fare; burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc all for very reasonable prices. The service was quick, but it doesn't look like they'd be able to handle more than 8 diners in the restaurant at a time. If I was a local to the area, this would be a great spot to pick up lunch. I ordered their burrito with carnitas and chicken with some chips and guac. The guac was really really smooth, I'm not sure if it was made in house or not. The burrito was really good, and they had a few hot sauces to try with it as well. This place is a nice, independently run Mexican restaurant with very fair prices. Papis will be missed. I took my guys there for lunch. The restaurant was empty and we waited for almost an hour for TACOS. The owner blasted fast paced violin music while we waited, nothing enjoyable or relaxing. Birria tacos were good, soft chicken tacos good, steak hard tacos were strange. Cute little place in conimicut village. It's easier to go inside to order because they're fairly busy. The menu isn't too big, which I must say I like. It makes me feel like I'll be getting fresher foods/ingredients. I have tried just about everything and it's worth it. Not my favorite taco place, but I would still stop in passing. read more

I was taken aback by the tab when i picked up... also the signage is not appropriate on the street, but they are working on that I think... Came here on a random Wednesday evening & really enjoyed the freshness of the food here. Everything was made fresh and was full of flavor! I enjoyed that the menu has a variety of options, especially for picky eaters like my kids. The staff was very friendly and the wait time was reasonable. The taco salad was very good and filling, the shell was delicious, not overly greasy and not the thick dough tortilla other places use. The hot sauce provided is delicious! SCAMMERS! stay away. On Tuesday they offer three tacos for $7. Their menu/sign says "make it a combo for $2, with chips and a drink." It shows a picture of chips, salsa, and a drink. They did not ring me out prior to eating (now I know why). I was expecting a $9 bill. Instead it was $13. The reason was that salsa is not included in the combo. It's just chips and a drink, even though the picture SHOWS salsa. What reasonable person thinks that chips don't come with salsa? Especially when it's in the picture. The answer is none. This is clearly a scam where they are charging more than what the customer expects with tricky word play and a deceptive menu. They do it after you eat so you cant call attention to this scam before hand. They should be investigated, shut down and the scammers thrown in jail. They stole $4 from me for salsa. How many people have they done this to? Thousands of dollars total I'm sure. Also their food is trash. Stay away. read more

I wanted to love this place. Walked in, sat at bar. Woman working stared at me like I was crazy. I asked what beer they had and asked for a menu. She told me what they had for beer and told me they didn't have menu's. I ordered a modelo, she gave me a Corona. I kept it because it was already open and asked for a minute to read the wall. When she never returned , I got up and found her and asked if I could order some food. I ordered hard shelled tacos with beef. They were the second worst tacos I've ever had. They continued their recipes but with way more flavor. I am so grateful a local, family owned business like this survived. Worst Mexican food I've ever had! I had a veggie burrito and all it had was 2 pieces of green pepper and a few nuggets of tomato and rice. Awful! My husband had the chicken burrito and there were maybe a few nuggets of chicken and the rest was rice. We ordered guacamole which was so salty we couldn't even eat it.
