Fatayer: I've had the chicken, beef, and spinach & feta and all were excellent. It's snack-sized and not too big and actually a perfect size for me to pair with their excellent coffee. Musakhan Chicken Roll: Chicken, olive oil, onion, spices. Again, I might be in the minority but I like snack sized food and not too big. I split this in half as a 2 snacks and it was excellent. Za'atar and cheese croissant: Za'atar is one of my favorite spice combos and Ioved it on this croissant, I reheated this in a toaster oven at 350 degrees at home and it was excellent! Simple no frills bakery. This place is situated in a small plaza and is fairly close to where I live so I frequent it a lot to buy pastries for home. They have a good selection of baked goods, cakes, and macarons! The price is a little high for some of their cakes, but I have always been pleased with the taste! I particularly like their roll cakes, because it's never too sweet and had a nice texture and flavor. read more

Big pieces of chicken in a flavorful creamy sauce. There may have been some vegetables in it but I was driving and it was unsafe to inspect my pie closely. The caramel apple hand pie was good. Because I'm not an apple pie fan I appreciated that the apples were sliced thinly, not chunky, and I loved the addition of the sanding sugar on top. I ordered the apricot frangipane (AF) for two reasons: it was double-crusted and it didn't have whipped cream on top. I wasn't totally on board with frangipane since my experience with it in boxed chocolates was "meh." Plus they seem to love it on the Great British Bake-Off and it always looks so unappealing. But paired with the tartness of the apricots and a crust that reminded me of shortbread, I think the AF was my favorite, though I haven't tried the blueberry lemon yet. If you love pie, go to Pie Dreams and have a slice or three (no judgment here). If you're not sure or don't think you like pie, go to Pie Dreams. You may surprise yourself.

The item that caught my attention were her cute hot chocolate bombs so I asked to pick some up from her on Thursday, November 19th, in time for my nieces to spend the weekend with us. I got the "unicorn" for my daughter since she really likes unicorn. Sadly, my daughter prefers milk chocolate over white chocolate so I ended up having to help her finish it. I got the "Tea Me Up" for myself since I do enjoy a nice cup of chai latte & it was perfect for the cold weather. Although, I must warn you that it is a little bit spicy. I got the "Chocolala" for my 11-year old niece because she likes all her food/drink to be as plain and simple as possible and this fit her taste perfectly. I got the "Guess Who's Salty" for my 15-year old niece because she loves salted caramel flavor desserts. Nicolen agreed she could make the cake. To make it easier I said just characters heads and to make it blue instead of pink since it was for a boy. Lastly, I paid extra for the R2D2 head. I knew something was wrong when I had to to touch-base and remind her about the cake. Nicolen reassured me that the cake would be ready and asked if she could drop it off early the day of the party. My friend who was pregnant at the time was up early to receive the cake which never came that morning. Because the party had already started I got nervous about the cake. Nicolen's lack of communication and delay of the cake was not that way I pictured her customer service to be. The cake arrived late and delivered by her sister who would not even look at me. When the cake arrived I couldn't believe it! I paid over $100 for this? The cake came lope sided and about to fall over. The characters I requested to be made out of fondant were PRINTED! YES PRINTED out of white computer paper and placed on the cake!!! Nicolen later texted me she was busy with Mother's Day orders. If you were busy please be transparent to your customers. It seems harder and harder to get a good birthday cake for our daughter. After going to numerous parties and trying a variety of cakes, grocery store cakes were out of the question. So, last year we went to a local baker and they did a good job on our cake but, it was still too sweat and a bit underwhelming. This year, for my daughters 2nd birthday, we wanted to find an independent baker who could create a cake that matched the theme of our daughters party and that was creative and different. Many bakeries just have a list of cake designs that they do and I feel they often lack originality and can come off almost manufactured. Here comes Insatiable Desserts. We wanted a bit of a wow factor and we were able to show her some pictures of cakes we found online that we liked that matched out theme. She provided some suggestions on the outside design of the cake and the inside of the cake. The overall cake came out better than we had thought and our guests couldn't stop talking about. Now onto the taste. One of my biggest complaints with standard cakes is how sweat the frosting is and how the cake portion lacks flavor. Our cake was moist and wasn't over sweat and had lots of flavor. The frosting was a delicious buttercream and she managed to create a fondant (That my husband and I normally hate due to bad taste) that was absolutely delicious. It was really really good. She also created some Mickey Mouse shaped cookies for us in the these of Mickey, Minnie and Donald. They were shortbread cooking decorating in a delicious frosting and there was a hint of lemon in some and orange in other. We had people grabbing extras to take home.

Looking at the other photos, it appears to be a standard practice. Presentation is important. Customers want value for their money. So being skimpy on the gelato isn't a good thing. (Serving Size: 2/5). Customer service was great. I asked for 2 scoops in a cup for $7, chocolate and cappuccino chip. I told the chatty clerk it was my first time here, and she offered me a free sample. The gelato was good and creamy. Wafers and chocolate drizzle cost extra. Customer service: (4/5). The shop looks dark from the outside. The lights were low, and the AC was on. They have a few tables inside. Only 1 of the 2 gelato cases were was stocked. Ambiance: (3/5). Would I return? Maybe. There's two frozen yogurt shops nearby that will probably get my business. Free parking
