I was excited to join this gym, Isabel gave me a tour of the place and even offered me a pass so I could try it out. Unfortunately the operations manager was very rude and unhelpful. I wasn't aware the kids club had a daily fee, and when I mentioned that she dismissed me and didn't even ask if I wanted to make a payment for the day. This is by far the worse front desk service of all LA Fitness in all Houston area locations, this pertains primarily to the morning service as this is the time I visit. The service for the past 9 months has been non-existent. For the existing LA members let you facility know about the service so that the establishment can fix the situation. The service here has NO "acknowledgement", NO "have a good workout", NO eye contact, NO "Good Morning" NO INTERACTION whatsoever. Putting your scanner on the counter, continue to watch social media and not acknowledging the member is unacceptable. Front desk is the face of the company, first interaction with their members. I have brought this up to the facility twice and no clear outcome that is will fix the situation not with me personally but for this location. This issue was brought up six months ago and was addressed, it was a tad bit better for one week and back to the normal rude behavior. This comes down to the management team, listen to the members, bring up the issue, have warning and consequences and address the problem as needed. Domyour due diligence, check cameras, ask your morning members, or even ask corporate to do a survey. Once in a while the behavior is tolerable, as people we all have our own personal issues but nine months of the repetitive behavior is just not right. Think - what position is csr front desk? Happy smiling, contact service, fake it even if you have to smile service. I'm sure LA Fitness didn't hire someone to play on the phone during the shift to bring this attitude. Well, to be honest, local mgmt did address the issues, they pointed out to the intended front desk that I was the person to address this issue. That person now knows who is complaining and my service from the front Desk is solved but they does not do justice for the other members of the facility, I have nothing personal with this person and nothing against that person. If I was managing the facility I would have done better than treat this as an isolated incident. As very recent changes has seen that I am not the source of the problem but I am trying to do a service to the company. Anyways I have send in my cancellation mail, I will not be coming to this particular gym. On a bright side, As overall LA Fitness is pretty good, it was just this particular gym that bothers me a little, I am contemplating about canceling still because as a whole most All LA fitness facilities are satisfactory. LA Fitness - Leg day - Gyms Near Me - Pasadena, Texas

Been coming here for years so I can confidently say this gym is on the border of okay and great. It's usually clean but you'll find the occasional spill or mess just like with any place. Equipment is always organized but too often there's more than one machine that's out of service. It does get packed depending on the time you go. No steam room, gym overall feels kinda small sometimes. But overall I really like the atmosphere and the staff is great and it's always been well maintained and constantly cleaned throughout the day. I'm pretty happy here and will continue my membership! I recommend this gym especially since you'll meet some great people. read more

Why is it soo cold all the time in there?? Every time I ask the attendant says they have no control over the AC or fans that are full blast when it's 41 degrees outside. Front desk attendants have to have sweaters and a heater going. I don't understand how or why they don't have control. read more

Really nice set up and equipment but customer service/support is brutal. Our family had a bad experience when we went to cancel our membership (canceled day before required but manager was out and stated we had to do that with manager). Next day they said it had to be in writing the day before. We received different answers from different people. It was for our college student who told them up front it was for summer only. So now she paid the yearly fee and the extra month. Disappointing. read more

So, this Gym is brand new. It is still being worked on and some things are still blocked off, like the pool. But the staff seems nice and so far it looks like they are planning on having the gym well maintained. Yes, there is a sauna inside the locker room and a hot tub by the pool. I love my membership. I saw when I walked in 2 for 1. I told the girl up front if they can give me a call so I can possibly add someone. I get a call today and the guy mark wanted to talk over me THE WHOLE TIME. like hello. Let me talk. It was so terrible. I just wanted to get off the phone with him. I'm not signing anyone up on my account just because of him. I'd rather be to the pearland one and deal with the front guy who is so friendly and nice. read more

It's been about 6 months since my last review. Unfortunately, I'm not as happy with the gym anymore. I took my son a few days ago and there were about 15 kids there plus another 3 babies. The girls working there had all the kids sitting on the floor. They mentioned they had to take all of the balls away because it was too many kids and they were running around too much. They were afraid the kids would get hurt. I understand that and I don't blame the girls. I feel like that area being so small is a big problem especially when they have that many kids. I want to feel comfortable when I leave my kid, not worry that he's going to be told to sit in the same spot for 2 hours until I come back. So we're going back to 24 hr fitness. Their kids play area is much nicer and they have it better organized. They only allow a certain number of kids at a time. read more

The newest gym in Pasadena. Very nice, but I was not pleased with the professionalism of the staff at all. I went to go see about getting a free week pass to check out the gym beforehand and the staff was extremely pushy. They truly did not give up on trying to get me to sign up with a $150 sign on fee, $50 maintenance fee after two months, and $30 a month. This is pretty pricy for someone who is very familiar with commercial gyms and how much they cost. Nonetheless, they let me have the guest pass, but continue to call and even text on personal phone numbers to get you to go back and sign. Very annoying and unprofessional to call and text several times from personal numbers. I have friends who have told me that they have had similar experiences. Honestly, I would've considered paying the excessive fees, for the price of a very nice gym, but the staff completely ruined it for me. I'd much rather go to a smaller gym and have a better experience. read more

None of the employees are on the same track, they all tell you something different. I tried to freeze my membership for another month but I still got charged so I just decided to cancel it. Before that I went in and tried to cancel it but this old guy didn't even mark it in the system so I still got charged again. This was just bad service in general, maybe it's just this LA fitness but I'd rather go to another gym than to keep getting screwed over. read more

Clean facility and the staff is very helpful. Plenty of functioning cardio equipment, so there's never a shortage there. During their peak hours the free weight area can get a little packed but if you know your way around a gym, you can work with it. Overall, it's the best gym available in the Pasadena and Deer Park area. Only negative- the gym opens too late on the weekends. read more

Terrible location most employees moving to heights location, very dirty & when agent sign me up didn't tell me all the fees sneaked in to get their sale, plus once charge me 2x months. They confirm they made mistake, but says I have call corporate to get refund. Advice to management. With the large membership you need to expend more energy keeping the the place clean and repairing the equipment. The crowding at times show you have the income to do this. When the trash can are full, somebody should empty them. The front office must supervise and see that the place is clean or get off your chair and do it yourself. read more
