I'm born and raised in this neighborhood on 22nd ways going here. In the early 2000s - 2015 was when they were at their prime for me. But since then and nowadays they have tougher competition that I prefer to go to over them and recently started to develop a hate and love relationship here. It used to be my die hard go to taco truck. This truck for me makes delicious carnitas burritos and pollo tacos. And a sleeper is the al pastor burrito and suadero tacos. That al pastor isn't made from the trompo but the seasoning and juiciness of their version in the burrito is what makes it one of the best burrito options on there if you haven't tried it. Carnitas burritos is super delicious because you get that nice crispiness of the fried tender pork with the rice, cheese and sour cream. I like to ask for onions, cilantro and tomato in mines for variety and freshness to cut the heaviness of the fats and dairy. Tacos I normally would get or recommend is the Carnitas, Pollo, Cabeza, Suadero, and Asada. Carnitas are as delicious as explained with the burrito. Pollo or known as chicken tacos are super tender and juicy. It's also very flavorful, and one of my favorite chicken tacos to get here because most places don't make chicken very well and are usually very dry. The cabeza is super tender and a great option. Suadero just like the asada is just a better version of the asada cut. It's packed with more flavor and seasoning than the asada and slightly more tender which is why I prefer it to the regular steak. I tend to find the asada more dry and sometimes tough. Recently the pricing doesn't reflect on the fairness of the portion size. $4 tacos but the meats aren't as packed. Felt like they started to skimp because of rising costs but has been happening before then. $15 burrito but the sizing isn't as filling as it used to be. I started to see more rice than meat. They've also started to be very stingy with a huge attitude especially the gentleman that works on the pick up station when asking for extra pickled veggies, limes and salsa. And it happens every time for the past several years now. For example he gave me 2 limes, 4 pieces of sliced pickled carrots, 2 slices of pickled jalapenos, 3 radishes, and 1 rojo salsa for an order of a super burrito and 7 tacos. When I asked for extras the gentleman gave me an attitude and said he already did and won't give more. Only reason I still go here is because it's close to home and if my favorite spots for tacos are closed for the night. read more

Line was long tonight. May be a 30+ minute wait... So, quick way to cheat the system. Order on DoorDash for pick up! People were definitely mad my hubby cut the line... but, when you're hangry, why not pay a little extra... It's either I was super hungry or the cook is back from hiatus... but the Carnitas were perfect! Crispy on the edges. Juicy on the inside. And a tingle of heat on the lips. Just the right amount of onions and cilantros for an added freshness. So so good! Took a bite, and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. Instant salivation! How I've missed these tacos. No wonder the lines been long lately... "THE. COOK. IS. BACK!" Well, that's the line we say when the tacos are extra good... Agua Frescas always satisfies the thirst. Grande is a must! Best tacos in the Bay Area--and I'm not even exaggerating. Everything here is . The tacos are loaded with flavor, the burritos don't miss, and even the drinks are on point. You can tell they care about quality. Service is quick and friendly--they get you in and out but still treat you right. Tacos Sinaloa never disappoints me! One of the top favorite tacos place for sure in the Bay Area! The tacos are always juicy and packed with incredible flavor, every bite hits just right. And you can't for get about the agua frescas, they always taste fresh. Anytime I'm in Oakland tacos Sinaloa is the first place that comes to mind to eat. They have a a lot of sitting area outside and the employees are always nice and friendly. I'm a hot Cheeto girly so I love to pair it up with my hot Cheetos on the side. Definitely a go-to spot whenever I'm craving solid, flavorful tacos. read more

Top Fruitvale taco spot. Outstanding fish and beef tacos. Two food trucks with some outdoor dining between the two. Small parking lot that I've always been lucky to get a spot in. One of the best places to get a taco in the area - and for good reason. Things are done right - the meat is the star - and perfectly seasoned. Fish was very light and delicate. Chicken tender and juicy. Beef had the most flavor and most satisfying as there was a little something to chew on. Radish, peppers, pickled carrots and lemon came with on the side. Onions and cilantro on top. Very fresh veggies. Doubled up corn shells to scoop it all up in. Ambiance is the only thing where I think other taco spots have an edge.... but there is covered seating. I think its just a busy street and then with the Bart train whirring up above - it makes for not the most serene place to eat. Take it to go and its a non issue. This is the spot to be and everyone knows it! Decided to stop by since we were really close by and glad we did. Ordered some tacos, and they were quick and efficient. Lots of people in line, but also lots of tacos to sit at. Looks like they used to own the building but they run out of a food truck now. Still would recommend trying out the food. read more

Our favorite late-night taco spot! So far, I've only tried their lengua and fish tacos, and both were amazing. The prices are great--you get high-quality meat for a cheap price. Last night, I got four tacos (two lengua, two fish) and a small horchata, and it was only $18! They stay open really late, and the line can get pretty long, even during late hours. I wouldn't say it's the safest area (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5), so just be mindful of your surroundings. But trust me--the food is absolutely worth it! read more

I've been driving by Tacos Sinaloa for a couple years and always said I wanted to try. Last week I finally ordered and was extremely happy. Tonight I decided to order the Cameron Tacos and they are delicious. The prawns were perfectly cooked. The salsa verde is flavorful, plus the cilantro and onions taste fresh. Service is excellent. My husband and I were craving a breakfast burrito, so we found Tacos Sinaloa on Yelp. I tried this spot for tacos since my usual place has changed. The carne asada had good flavor and the tortillas were fresh. The chorizo was just okay (not a fan). The tacos were put together well, I am just not sure if this will become my new go to. It is still worth trying for yourself, and the truck has been around for years with plenty of loyal fans. The staff seem friendly and the lines can get long, but parking was no issue for me. read more

i've tried the location in berkeley and it was pretty good. i work around the corner and saw the truck and thought to stop by. once i got home and cut my burrito in half and took a bite and found a fucking rock in my burrito. when i called them they awnsered and i told them what happened the line went dead and i got no response. after calling about 5 more times it kept saying busy this was around 6:20pm 3/30/26 i don't recommend this place as finding a rock in my burrito is nasty as shit. they also didn't give me a refund or offer a remake. but i wouldn't eat here again as im truly disgusted by the quality and lack thereof. read more

I can't go to Oakland without stopping by here. Sometimes we go to Oakland just for this taco truck. Quick service. Huge parking lot. There's also an indoor area behind the parking lot where you can enjoy your food on some tables. We usually just scarf the tacos down in the car. Usual go-to is Al Pastor. My husband also like the lengua. All the tacos come with pickled carrot, jalapeño, and radishes. My toddler liked the chicken quesadilla. It's was nice that they put the sour cream and veggies on the side because he can be picky sometimes. Nice chill spot with great tacos and easy parking! read more

Tacos Sinaloa food truck is an East Oakland gem! I always get the carne asada tacos and they never miss. The aguas frescas are all fire, but my favorite is jamaica. The folks working are professional and courteous and the service is quick, unless it's super busy, but even then it's still reasonable. It's in the deep East, so expect the area's unique folks & flare to be part of the ambiance, but that's E14! and home for folks from ESO like me! read more

the people working the food truck were very nice, which always makes for a good experience. we ordered chicken tacos, steak, and shrimp. the only criticism i have is that the steak (asada), was really dry and the flavor was not there. the chicken and shrimp tacos were really good though- the salsa on them was delicious. i however would recommend not coming to this food truck at night if you're a women, as it's not in a great part of town. read more

2138 International Blvd Oakland, CA 94606 (Food Truck) The other day I stopped to grab some street tacos before heading home. The prices are around $3-4 depending on how you load them up. There was a line, so I had time to figure out what to order. A guy there kept insisting I try the Lengua tacos. Okay fine! I don't get enough beef tongue in my diet. I decided to get: 2 Shrimp, 1 Fish, 1 Pork, and 1 Beef Tongue ( pickled veggies incl) OMG, those street tacos were bursting with flavor. I'd rather eat these tacos off a truck hood, than in any sit down restaurant in town. The lengua taco was good. A different taste, but tender and savory. I expected it to be chewy, but it wasn't. I have visited this taco truck many times, but the last three visits in the last 3 months I had different experiences when ordering food, and it makes no sense. I always order the vegetarian tacos: Visit one, I ordered and asked for the cheese and sour cream on the side, the cashier told me they cannot put it on the side, and if they put it on the side she would need to charge me extra.I got the tacos without it. Visit two on December, 23 2025, around 6 pm I ordered and the cashier told me no problem, we can put it on the side with no added charge as the vegetarian tacos come with it included based on the menu displayed outside of the truck. I told her I had been told before that I would be charged if they put it on the side, and she said that was wrong as the vegetarian tacos have the sour cream and cheese included regardless of whether it is on the tacos or on the side.. Visit three, on January 4th 2026 around 6 pm, I ordered and the cashier told me if she put the sour cream and cheese on the side she would need to charge me extra, I either had them with or without but was unable to put it on the side. I explained that last time the cashier said the opposite, the tacos come with it so we can surely put it on the side without an added charge". She just proceeded to tell me I just work here and do as I am told, and I would need to charge you. See the issue here is the inconsistency in how orders are done based on your cashiers, perhaps you should train people to know and provide the same information rather than making customers pay extra for something included in the menu, otherwise, provide a discount to the client when they are not given the cheese and sour cream on the side that came with the plate. This was in the Oakland location on International Blvd. read more

Came to Oakland and was craving a bomb burrito, this was close to the freeway so I decided to give this place a shot since it's got good reviews. Honestly I was disappointed! I got the shrimp burrito, the minute I bit into it I was like nah this is not it. It was so greasy and watery, no flavor to it. Tacos Sinaloa is my go-to taco place in Oakland and just the East Bay in general. All of their tacos are so tasty and the service is always consistently top notch. Sinaloa is a coastal state in Mexico, so they offer amazing seafood dishes like tostadas with shrimp and octopus and great fish tacos. This their first location and most spacious in Oakland. I tend to order the same options, Suadero and Cabeza tacos. Every once in a while I order Al Pastor or Carnitas to change it up a bit. The Ambiance is nice, you definitely feel Oakland energy in this neighborhood and they have several parking spaces available. I always take new friends or Family that are visiting to grab some amazing food and take in the local culture. Grab some tacos and enjoy the seafood as well along with some tasty Agua Fresca options. Even when branching out to new places, we always end up back to Tacos Sinaloa to eat our favorite tacos! Order several taco options and you will likely fall in love, sure hope you give them a chance. ^_^ read more

The steak was Tender, chicken was tender and juicy. The veggie tacos veggies were fresh. The tortillas were toasted lightly on the grill and they give you double tortillas for your taco. If I'm getting 5 tacos, why aren't you putting any salsas in my bag. And when I ask for some you only put 1. And when I ask for like 2 more you tell me to pay for extra. What??? I told that man I got 5 tacos and you only gave me 1 salsa. He said fine I'll give you one more. This is horrible customer service. I could understand if I asked the man to put 10 salsa in my bag, but he barely wanted to give me the 1. Salsa is condiments for tacos. Everyone likes different amounts on their food and it's not complete unless I have it the way I like. You can't be stingy with salsa! I came here late night with my husband and got a burrito and a few tacos. Burrito was good and the tacos were not too oily. I like how they provide radishes and pickled jalapeños and carrots. We did ask for salsa but only gave us 1 for 4 tacos and a burrito. Service was friendly but since there's a lot of orders, plan to wait. Ambiance is your typical taco truck. My wife and I stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 6:00 p.m. and there was very minimal wait. There was only one party in front of us and from the time we ordered to when we received our food was only about a 5 minute wait. Between the two of us, we ordered a super cabeza burrito, a fish taco, and a lengua taco. All this came out to $23 -- $17 for the burrito and $2.50 for each of the tacos (tax is already factored in). The hype is real! To start, the burrito is MASSIVE. It's legit as long as my forearm. I opted for no beans, but I'm sure if I did, the burrito would weigh more than it did. There's a generous amount of shredded cabeza inside the burrito and every bite of it is moist and packed full of flavor. Good taco place in Oakland to go to if you're new in the area and not trying to find yourself in less traversed food spots. Food; 3/3 Stars, We had ceviche and tacos, though the ceviche did leave me wanting more flavor I recognize that we came at the end of the day and their food was not as fresh and they would normally be. The tacos though did leave us happy and wanting more plates and a bigger back. Ambiance; 1.5/1 Stars, I loved that they had their own parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating, bathroom and a private lot for their truck that's not in use (it's like seeing an Easter Egg in a video game). I'd thought the place had lost its touch, but maybe it was just an off day. Today in May of 2026 I've managed to visit while it's a slow day, and I was pleasantly satisfied with my food. I ordered a Carnitas burrito, and it was just as delicious as I'd remembered it one decade ago. While I was eating the first half of my burrito I was thinking "this is good, but burritos are good.. is it better than other burritos I've had, and why?" Something is different about burritos at Tacos Sinaloa, the food reflects that of some regional tacos trucks scattered throughout the East bay, but they're very distinct in how well they're capable of doing this style of Mexican food. As I said earlier- burritos are good. I think they are good because everything tastes good together, but not all burritos are created equal. The first thing that stood out to me about my burrito was the tortilla. It's not your standard tortilla, and it's nothing extravagant, but it seemed intentional. The tortilla is softer, thinner, and it holds up, but it's not chewy. It's there and it soaks up the oils and it doesn't take away from anything. In my experience, a bad tortilla can make a burrito less enjoyable. This tortilla adds in that it's barely there and it's pleasant because it soaks up the flavors without detracting. On the insides, the beans and rice can give or take away depending on where you get your burrito from. At Tacos Sinaloa on this particular day, the beans and rice did not take away from the burrito. The pinto beans were plum and creamy, and tasted like pintos. No nonsense- they added because they didn't subtract, I could go on about grainy beans or starchy over seasoned bean liquid, but NONE OF THAT HERE. The rice had perfect texture. It almost like 'al dente', but not in a chewy way, it had just enough rice texture and didn't get in the way of the other ingredients. It was mildly seasoned with your classic Mexican rice (aromatic tomato broth like flavor). No nonsense, no unnecessary spices, not over saturated in liquid, or turned to mush. Just good simply season rice. Cheese and sour cream- Salty Mexican cheese, presumably Oaxaca or something similar. Adds little salty flavor explosions throughout the burrito. Sour cream, added tangy acidity that cuts through the fatty ness making it taste more lively. Of coarse, the lovely creaminess. If you're not having your burrito with these I'm very sorry for you. The star of the show- The Carnitas here is just done right. It's not over seasoned with anything, it just tastes like melty delicious braised pork shoulder, then fried to accentuate it with crispy mallard bits that surprise you throughout the burrito. Towards the end of my experience I came to the conclusion that what makes a Tacos Sinaloa burrito good is that its ingredients forward- each ingredient tastes good on its own, and that can't be said for all burritos. It's not a burrito for the sake of being a burrito. All the ingredients seem intentionally chosen so that none get in the way of one another. I want to say they make the meat the star of the show, but even if you were to have a bean and rice and cheese + sour crème burrito here it would be an exceptional burrito, which is a testament to their culinary philosophy. Last but not least- yes they have salsa, and of coarse it's good, and I love that they give lemon slices with your food - it's another small intentional detail that they offer lemon instead of lime. At first I assumed this must have been a one-off disaster. Then I started reading the Yelp reviews. And suddenly a pattern emerged: stale chips, stale tacos, food making people sick, delivery orders arriving wrong or poorly made, hostile service interactions, customers being spoken to aggressively, and an overall sense that quality control has completely collapsed. One reviewer even described an employee asking if they "wanted to fight." Another described disputing charges over incorrect orders because the food quality was so poor. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant presents itself as a serious modern Bay Area Mexican concept tied to an admired culinary name. Instead, the actual execution feels careless, inconsistent, and deeply below the standards the restaurant markets itself on. Restaurants can survive a bad night. What they cannot survive is the perception that nobody cares anymore. Right now, that is exactly the impression Todos Cantina gives off. Frankly, this is an embarrassment to the legacy and reputation associated with the Martinez name. I truly hope someone steps in and turns this place around, because based on my experience (and many others here) things have gone badly off the rails.

So, me and my 7 pounds of nachos get back to the office. I pop it open and start to eat. The chicken was juicy wonderfully flavored, and just plain delish. I don't think I can get tired of this place if it was all I could eat for the rest of my life. I love this taco truck with all my heart. Everything on the menu from top to bottom is hit status. Take a bite and get struck by the strong pimp hand that the taqueria sinola truck has. I go with the steak torta(no tomatoes) and two steak tacos(no cilantro) usually. And it puts a smile on my face everytime. I kill my food so fast when I eat here because it is so damn tasty. I finish my torta and two tacos before my friends can finish two tacos because when I eat here, the beast is unleashed, and I can not be tamed. The location is on international where its crackin 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with dopefiends, scrappers, hookers, etc.. You know, its Oakland at its finest. Never been to Oakland? I only EAT TACOS here, nothing else. I have been coming to this spot for over 12 years and at one point it was my favorite taco truck. About 5 years ago something happened and their BURRITOS started to SUCK. I bought my last one 3 years ago, and every time a friend orders a burrito they complain on how it tastes. The tortas and ceviche are okay; if that's what you want, go to a place that does it better. Their Asada, Carnita, and Fish tacos are always delicious. The Pollo is okay, the Al Pastor is greasy. I don't eat Tripas, Lengua, or Sesos; my friends that have eaten them said the all were good, more rave about the Lengua. 4 Tacos and a drink for $6 is great for an average size hunger. Their drinks are all great, especially the Horchata, it's so good!!! alright, i can't lie, this place is hands down the best taco truck you can get to. i usually can't finish my own burrito, but if it's sinaloa burrito, i can finish it in a heart beat. I only order 3 things on the menu, its either a steak burrito, 4 al pastor tacos, or 4 steak tacos. those three stays on hit! My other friends be ordering tortas, or lengua tacos(tongue), cabezza tacos (head) and they be loving it too and they aren't even mexicans! i just came back from Rosarito, Mexico and i ate tacos from sunlight to sunset over there from many different joints, and i still think Taqueria Sinaloa tacos hit the spot like no other. The negative side to this place is, it's open late and its in the Town, so it can be dangerous at night.. A lot of hoes and hookers walking around, pimps and crack heads trying to ask for money, so watch out! on a brighter note, the food is still to die for so it wouldn't matter. i suggest everyone give this place a shot read more

I'm not Mexican but I love Mexican food and I eat it all the time. I've been to all the permanent location taco trucks in Oakland and this one is the best of them. I've been stopping by its permanent location whenever I've been in the neighborhood ever since I first heard about it three years ago. Everything on the menu is worth a try, but the best thing to order is the seafood. The shrimp and fish ceviche tacos are some of the best in the East Bay, better than a lot of well-established restaurants that have twice as many resources and charge three times the price. Prices at Taqueria Sinaloa are like most taco trucks rock bottom compared to most restaurants, making it a reasonable place to get food even for people who can't afford to eat out frequently. So this whole time I've been confused as to whether or not this white truck is the same company/family as Tacos Sinaloa (the bright orange truck). Apparently, they are different - well, at least they have a different name. Today, I looked at the truck and noticed the name difference. Mariscos has seafood tacos and ceviche, which Tacos Sinaloa doesn't carry. I guess they specialize in the seafoods over here more -- which I LOVE. I haven't found another taco truck in Oakland that has fish tacos, so this is my definite go to taco truck. The prices are reasonable. 2 fish tacos, 1 shrimp ceviche, and an horchata will set you back $7.50..done deal. They use to give you the whole jalapeno, but nowadays it's the sliced up ones...I guess you can blame that one on the bad economy. Either way, come here for your seafood taco fix! read more

Tacos Sinaloa and their tacos did not disappoint! The menu offers a wide variety of options, but the standouts for me were the carne asada and al pastor tacos. This spot is seriously a hidden gem! I had the Asada and Carnitas quesadillas, and let me tell you they were next level delicious. Super flavorful, juicy, and cheesy just how a good quesadilla should be. But what really blew me away? They don't skimp. These quesadillas are huge and come fully loaded when you ask for everything. You get the whole hook-up: sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, lime, jalapeños, pickled carrots, radishes--all of it. It's the full experience and honestly, I felt spoiled in the best way. Also get the Horchata and mix it with their strawberry agua fresca trust me on this one. It's bomb bomb and ties the whole meal together perfectly. I'm already planning my next visit. Tacos Sinaloa in Oakland is hands down the best taco spot around! Their food is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that keep me coming back. I came here for lunch Thanksgiving Day because the one by my home was MIA. There were two trucks on the lot and I went to the one further from International Blvd. Did I go to the wrong one? I ordered a spicy pork and steak burrito and they were limp. They were stingy with the carrots (one bag for two burritos) and weren't that friendly when I asked for another bag, like she didn't want to give it to me. They also don't give out stalks of green onion. I've heard good things about their tacos so maybe I'll give them another try soon but in the meantime, I'll stick to the truck that's at 1st and International. read more

I remember this place, before it got all crazy and orange. My brother took me here a few times. It was bomb back then, it's still bomb nowadays. Let me tell you about my favorite Mexican made guilty pleasure, and that's the Carnitas burrito. The flour tortilla is awesome, thin yet durable enough to hold the bulging contents of the burrito. The rice is perfectly seasoned with a mild tomato paprika sort of thing going on with it. The sour cream is fresh and tangy, and the cheese is pretty good too. read more

oh god!!! I found the most precious little jewel for Mexican food!!! tacos yum ( : even though the place is very modest with only a few little tables and most people eating standing up, this tacos are amazing and its so worth it to wait a little bit to eat!!! This place just can't be beat, I have been to a few Mexican restaurants and there is just no comparison, this taco truck just destroys its other competitors with the great food. The prices for the dishes are cheap and the food tastes great. I ordered the fish taco and this being the first one I have ever eaten and it was delicious. I can't believe I haven't tried this variation of taco before. If you love Mexican food this is the place for you to chow down at. read more

There was a time when this place served the best shrimp taco in town. circa 2013-2014. Then one day, I start noticing the tour buses and white hipsters food diving here. That's when I know it's time to go. Tacos could be amazing half of the time, a total meh another time. A total crapshoot. I frequent another taco truck down in the International stretch.
