Born in Puerto Rico and living in Peru for a bit I feel like I am a good judge of character with this cuisine. Not to mention I'm not too bad in the kitchen myself!! I eat here OFTEN. I've had their seafood gumbo, fried rice, seafood rice, lomo saltado (beef sauteed) roasted chicken.. Well you get the picture! It's ALL GOOD! The seafood gumbo is amazing, it has every sea animal you can think of.. Well maybe not dolphin, but shrimp, calamari, mussels, white fish... You can eat on this for two meals for sure. Today I tried their new super bowls!! I had mine with yellow rice, red beans, chicken and sweet plantains. The usual problem I have with any bowl is everything tastes the same, or the flavors get very muddled as the chefs would say. Not here, you can taste the subtle hint of lime in the chicken which brings out the cilantro and sweetness of the corn. Top that with the smokiness of the sauteed peppers and onions over a bed of rice and red beans, DELISH!! I also had an order of yucca with two different aji sauces, very traditional Peruvian. If I had to describe this menu over all, it would be a mix of traditional Peruvian and Latin Asian fusion dishes. The prices are a bargain for the quality and amount of food you get. I normally adore La Granja, but this is by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in a while. The new staff are either poorly trained or incapable of fulfilling rudimentary requests. After explaining multiple times that I wanted tostones as my banana, they proceeded to overcharge buy adding them as sides. A lengthy driveway explanation ensued, followed by a more than 15 minute wait in the parking lot when we were the only people in the drive through. I finally walked inside, and was eventually given our ride without any of the requested sauces. I write this as I return because the idiots forgot to give busboys drinks. Wait, now they try to give me a warm one that was sitting out the whole time. Oh, and they owe us $2. I want this place to stay open, but management needs to do some SERIOUS work! read more

Delicious Peruvian Food. The person at the register spoke English well but I wanted to work on my Spanish so I spoke to him in Spanish and he was delighted. The restaurant was well maintained. On top of that nobody speaks clear English and they only have one register . The wait time is over the top long. I was starving and ready for a new experience on my lunch break. This was a pleasant surprise... Not just because I was so hungry! Their tostones were perfection. Every sauce I tried was unique and added flavor to the perfectly cooked fall-off-the-bone chicken. I dipped and covered everything on my plate in every sauce they had. Not a fan of beans...I stuck with a boring house salad. The sauce was the best part of it. I washed it all down with a passion fruit nectar (I don't drink HFCS) which was a bit heavy but sooooooo good. They have a unique assortment of imported juices. Tasty and fast. Like really fast for how packed it was in there. Large portions too! Authentic Peruvian? I didn't try the ceviche, so I can't really judge. Go there! If u want good food and a lot of it you will get a good deal. I know I'll def be back. I got the fajitas to go for my neighbor and he thanked me later and said best fajitas he ever had! First I thought this was a Mexican restaurant. It's Peruvian, which is very different. It's sort of Asian Spanish if that makes any sense. There is a language issue. The staff doesn't understand questions fully so you might get something you don't expect. I won't go back. read more

Totally disappointment. This location does not compare to any other La Granja restaurant. The chicken was overly dry. The rest of our entrees took almost 20 minutes to finish after the chicken took 2 minutes. It's obvious that they have the chicken just sitting there all day. Honestly food is great, so good we had a company lunch catered by them but the service in store was surprisingly unpleasant. Poor girl at the register was so timid while another employee basically talked over her. The one talking over her wasn't even doing anything productive, all she did was carry a tray around and played with her Apple Watch. Better off going through the drive thru, at least there they'll ask for your order rather than just staring at you while you're in line until you call them over. Probably didn't help that I don't speak any Spanish and they basically looked at me like I was dumb. When I got my order I couldn't wait to leave... checked my order and the one thing I asked about was the plantains and they only gave me one. ONE?? That's how many stars I should give them. I am so happy and enjoying this new la granja! I love the one in Casselberry and i was thrilled when i found out they were opening one so close to my house. I loved the chicken and the ceviche!! It's hard to find a place where the quality and taste of the ceviche is good, but i really enjoy eating the one from this place! I think that since this place just opened the staff may be getting the hang of it still, but the management is great and they were so helpful and quick during my drive through experience!! La Granja is a great place for Spanish Food. You can dine in, carry out, and drive through. The portions are very large and the employees work very fast and double even triple check to make sure your order is correct with nothing missing. They will also accommodate you with your order easily at no charge extra (like yellow and white rice instead of just one or no scallops with your order and instead extra shrimp). We ordered the 1lb steak and shrimp platter with white and yellow rice, fried yuca, sausage and fries platter, empanadas, popcorn chicken with tostones, tres leeches and flan. Everything was great! I expected the yuca to be like Pollo Tropicals yuca fries but I am sure you can ask them to fry it a little longer. The tostones were more sweet than salty which is how you know they make it fresh never ever frozen. I have no complaints everything was great here! Especially that tres leches soooo good! I didn't try the flan yet because I was too full but I'm beyond sure it's a home run! read more
