Absolutely unacceptable service toward delivery drivers. I was forced to pour my own drinks for a large order and was refused a drink carrier, even though I clearly had multiple beverages to carry. My hands were completely full, which made it impossible to confirm the pickup in the Uber Eats app until I got back to my car. Despite completing the delivery and having a 100% satisfaction rate from customers, I received a complaint from this restaurant saying I didn't confirm the order -- which is completely unfair and misleading. I clearly said at the time that my hands were full and I would confirm the pickup as soon as my hands were free. I never refused to confirm anything -- I explained that I would do it right away once I was able to. I also made it clear at the beginning that I don't speak English fluently and I'm still learning. Instead of showing patience or understanding, the staff responded in a rude and disrespectful way. Later, they even reported me to Uber, which is unacceptable behavior toward someone trying to do their job responsibly. The staff was rude, dismissive, and showed zero regard for the reality of delivery work. I will be leaving this review from multiple accounts and across all platforms including Google and Yelp. I really love la granja for lunch! I typically order a #2 on the lunch special. It comes with. 1/4 chicken, black beans, white rice and sweet plantains for about $7-$8. I then top it with some of their sauces which I have no idea what they are called. One sauce is red which gives you a little spice, there is a green one and a white one. All 3 on a bed of rice, beans and chicken is amazing! It's very inexpensive for a very generous amount of food. The service is normally pretty fast which gets you in and out for lunch. Jut discovered another spot to get a quick, decent, tasty meal - pretty thrilled about it! While getting my phone fixed I was starving and the owner suggested I walk across the street to La Grana. Since I wasn't familiar with it I went on yelp (before he could take away my phone) lol. It looked like a polo tropical type place so I decided to try it it. Not only do they have a million chicken and beef items to chose from, they also have a pretty vast array of seafood dishes including a whole fried fish, seafood soup and ceviche. The kicker is their amazing sauce bar that includes tons of vibrant colored salsas that all tasted unique and amazing! And the biggest and only problem is the size of the portion. And I'm saying this because I've been in different locations of the same restaurant and I know. I was very let down by Pollo Tropicale this evening and found La Granja. I am glad I did. The steak was amazing. Rice and beans amazing. Plantains perfect. Even an empanada for an appetizer was crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. My horrible day turned amazing in a short time by coming here. Glad I found this place. My husband and I visit La granja on a rare to semi frequent basis. The place is usually clean and the food is usually good and relatively inexpensive. I am on a new diet - the keto diet - so basically I am now eating foods high in fat with no carbs and no sugar so today I thought hey let's go get fajitas no tortillas no beans and no rice instead of beans and rice I can substitute a side salad right???? #Wrong I was shocked to find out they did No substitutions But why??? if you look on the menu for side orders the beans and rice are more expensive than the side salad and they still would not substitute it. #frustrated I did the extra $3 and my salad was legit a pile of lettuce with a piece of tomato and piece of onion on top #Disappointed But with the pile of lettuce I did make a cute chicken fajita salad - at least I'm not leaving hungry read more

I'll be in at very different locations of La Granja but this location in particular on Oakland Park Boulevard is horrible and the management and the customer service is some of the worst I've seen at any restaurant even worse than a Burger King or McDonald's. I ordered seafood rice and took one bite of it and felt it was disgusting so I asked to either exchange or to get my money back and I was told that they don't do that here that they don't do that at any restaurant. And I was told that I could just take the food or leave.
