Literally the best Latin fast food restaurant ever I love it could eat it everyday if the week

I stop here when I really don't know what else to eat and decide to switch up on what I am eating. The food here is decent, its not the best but its okay. I mostly get the steak with grilled onions and it comes with one side. They will automatically give you plantains for the side but you can substitute the side for any other side. And it also comes with a drink and it will run you about $11 - $12 bucks for it. Sometimes I may switch up and get the 1/2 chicken and that just come with rice and beans. I am not a big fan of the rice and black beans but its eatable. I tried their fish one time and didn't like it at all and something they smothered all over the fish looked disgusting to me. The customer service here is good, I never experienced anyone rude yet. Pretty much everyone I encountered with at this La Granja speaks good English and understands well. I like that they have a drive thru also so it makes it very convenient. read more

The place is a bit rundown but the food is consistent, always feel cheated when I get the breast and wing combo cause the wing is always burnt to a crisp. If you're in the mood for some Latin food for a reasonable price then this will do it. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite while in the area, and was not disappointed. Ordered the #2: 1/4 chicken, rice, black beans, and plantain. Everything was hot and flavored perfectly. Chicken was seasoned and very juicy. The orange and green sauce were fantastic with the rice. Inside is simple, clean, and everyone was very friendly. Let me start by saying I love La Granja, however not every location is the same. I used to frequent the one in Hallandale, but I hit this one for the first time. The Pros: Great Parking and Drive Up, Clean Tables and TV, Friendly staff. Cons: Ordered the flank steak and it was way overcooked, no juice at all. Like shoe leather. The beans and salad were great. They do not use the buzzer system like Hallandale to alert you the order is ready. Instead the girl kinda halfheartedly calls your order number. Better be paying close attention. So I give the LOCATION a 3, but La Granja in general gets 4-5 all day. Pollo Loco and the other places food is fast food garbage compared to La Granja. This is real food, so the price is a tad higher. read more

We ordered two chicken sandwiches with fries. The sandwiches were good but the fries looked old and greasy. We didn't eat them. They were cooked and then maybe re-cooked and were awful. There is never anyone who comes out from behind the counter to see if everything is alright with the customers. They have bad customer service, actually they have no idea what customer service is. This place used to be an Arbys. The building sat closed for 3 years or so and just opened up as La Granja.... I expected to see renovations and redecorated interior when I walked in last night. Instead, it looks like not a single thing was touched. ... But you know what? For me, that's not important. What's important is the food I ordered the fish criollo (spicy, fried whole fish filet) with beans, plantains and rice... Very very good! The fish (especially when combined with the salsa picante from the sauce bar) is excellent, tasty, spicy!!!! The fried plaintains were good. But how can you mess that up? My only complaint? There was only ONE SIZE for drinks!!!! and it's a small styrofoam dixie cup size drink.... Come on guys! Get some real cups!!! I plan on going to this restaurant lots! I've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years already. Today I passed by the drive thru and ordered a #7 meal which is the grilled chicken breast, a ceviche, an aguadito soup and a tamale. Out of all the food. The tamale was the best. The ceviche had old scallops, they were hard and rubbery The chickens has a texture like plastic and also rubbery I was very disappointed. And Although the drive they guys was very nice. Love la Granja Hallandale. This one is like a completely different restaurant. It is not old but looks like they just painted the place red and put in a rotisserie. They do not have the same Menu items and daily specials. Bathrooms are gross down to the spray painted white hand dryer. Drove like a mad woman from WPB to get here before 10pm, arrived at 9:50pm. Doors already locked, 1 car in the drive-thru & when the girl saw me walking towards the window, she locked the window & turned her back on me. Nice!! Couldn't even say, sorry we're closing up, no more food, NOTHING. Just RUDE! I won't be back, for sure! Will be sure to tell everyone I know, not to go to this location. Don't waste you money! I purchased the combo that should have 1/2 chicken, 1/2 lb of pork and 1/2 lb of grilled steak. They gave us a pork steak and a beef steak and called it 1/2 lb each. The two stars are for the hands down amazing food. The only issue here is meal preparation & presentation. They cooks are always talking as they cook and prepare the meals. I do realize that this occurs in most restaurants and we don't see it. The last visit I noticed that they were also eating while cooking. One girl alternating between drive-thru and dine-in registers had her fingers in her mouth the entire time. Most of the wait I noticed her just biting and repeatedly putting her fingers in her mouth. The last straw would have been if she grabbed my food and put her spit hand all over my containers. The manager intercepted and packed up my food. Each time I saw him stare at her I thought he was about to address the issue. But he did not. read more

I LOVE La Granja. I HATE this location. I usually go to the location in Margate and although I cant stand the type of people that go there the food is always good. This location is very inconsistent. The other day i got a 1/4 chicken and it literally tasted as if they overcooked it and then left it sitting out over night. Best chicken, rice and beans in town! Get your chicken with all dark meat. Empanadas are pretty good too. Definitely get the chicken soup. Stay away from the seafood-way too fishy. Ribs are alright. Get an extra black beans for your salad at home. The white sauce is my favorite. read more

I frequent this place almost every week. Service is very quick and pleasant and the food is good. It's not meant to be a culinary adventure into the Peruvian cuisine! This is a "fast" food place. Food is always fresh, tasty and consistantly cooked. They priced their menu so that many people can afford the dishes. Only small complaint is some of the staff only speak Spanish so I have to break out my beginner level conversational Spanish :) but they are always smiling and willing to help or try. read more

The counter girl gave me my credit card receipt for $21.20. when in questioned the charge, she told beans and rice are two item. The food is pretty good but it shouldn't take 10-20 minutes to get your food every time you go through the drive thru (especially when I'm the only person in line). Many times I have to drive up directly to the window because the girls who work there are chatting instead of taking orders. The service here is quite possibly one of the worst in the area; It would be hard to score less then them in the worst customer service category. I order a pollo a la braza with French fries and salad, the chicken was good fresh and had a flavor. The French fries were hot and good flavor but the salad was a littler bit more than usual onions but the flavor was good. I'm not gonna lie, this is some damn good food. BUT every time I go through the drive through, it literally takes 20 minutes to get my food. Twenty minutes doesn't sound like a long time, but I can watch nearly an entire episode of parks and rec while waiting for my food. They have to be frying each fry individually, or they are killing, plucking, and cutting up the chicken I am about to eat by hand. So good! I first was drawn there by seeing my friends eating a take out chicken plate. I had to have it and wasn't disappointed. Have been back to the drive-thru several times. Yesterday I decided to go inside and see what else looked good and was enticed by the Sopa de Mariscos. I'm in heaven. I bought the large and it has kept me fed for 4 delicious cups.
