Where do you eat on Oahu to celebrate your anniversary? Hands down its La Hiki kitchen, best brunch buffet on this island! We made reservation in advance because we heard it can be hard to get a seat! Price is $75 a person which includes a free Bloody Mary, or a different drink if you don't want alcohol. Where do I start, first was the seafood bar, delicious stone crab claws they hammer in front of you so you can break them easily, cocktail shrimp and the delicious raw oysters with their vinaigrette. What I loved about the buffet was all the pickled items they create, they had hrs of pickled pineapple, veggies and all sorts of items. Next up was the lobster tails, prime rib, pork belly and the raw poke bar. Poke was either Hawaiian or spicy, Hawaiian was the best flavor, also grab some raw ahi and salmon while you are at it! They had so many delicious items, if you aren't a seafood person they have plenty of fresh veggies, salad, olives and fresh hummus. Dessert bar was ok, reminded me of items for kids. Went to La Hiki for breakfast for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The Buddah bowl salad was gorgeous. French toast and pancakes with all the fixings were amazingly delicious in spite of having to sit out. The assorted pressed juices were delicious and the portions generous! Coffee was great! Chia seed pudding also delish! Waiter gave us a cupcake for our anniversary, a nice touch. Parking in Koolani was a bear. We struggled to find parking for a swim before our breakfast but happened to snag the last one in one of the lagoons. We took advantage of the 3-hour free valet parking with validation when we went to go get breakfast. There is a coffee shop right above La Hiki--beautiful open-air dining room overlooking the pool with a lot of the same food from our breakfast buffet but for probably half the price. AYCE places usually make so much money off of people like me, but this time I made sure to come on an empty stomach. My family and I went for Sunday brunch to celebrate my birthday & I was able to make reservations through the open table app. I recommend making brunch reservations early since they fill up pretty fast (gotta account for hotel guests too) La Hiki is located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Koolina. Valet is free with validation and the hotel is beautiful. The service is great and for a place that serves so many buffet guests, the servers are very attentive. Sunday brunch will cost you $75 and that comes with unlimited seafood, grilled lobsters, prime rib + lots of other choices. Omg! This is now my favorite Sunday brunch but why does it have to be so far!! It's located at the four seasons hotel in kapolei, so it's a bit of a trek for a townie like me. Parking is free by valet only. I heard it's only for 2 hours? But we were there longer than that - probably 3-4 hours? But it was okay. The valet didn't question us or anything. The Sunday brunch cost 65$ a person and includes coffee, tea, and bloody Mary's. Not bad for pricing considering kahala is more expensive and la hiki has a better selection of food. Reservations was easy... sortof! I was able to book through OpenTable but majority of the openings was from 1:30p. I tried to inquire about earlier times before 11 but that's not the brunch. The agent told me that the 1:30 opening isn't as favorable since they close the line at 2p. Why even have that seating then? Fortunately weeks later I was able to get a 1130 reservation. Lucky me! It seems popular ever since it was blasted on frolic Hawaii. My friend and I was sat on a table in a shaded area but a lot of the tables were close together and right! I'm sure our neighbors was listening into our conversation too. Lol. The food was great and good quality! There's an assortment of items from grilled lobster, shrimp, steak and lamb, to cold stone crab and lobster ceviche, to a create your own sushi bar and loco moco bar! They had other regular offerings like your normal salads, fruits, prime rib, lechon, and breakfast items too - but all of which was very well prepared! Once in the lobby atrium, go around that long historical canoe on display and head toward and down the staircase. You'll see a check in desk at the very bottom and once you give them your party name, they will lead you to your table. If you do not like the sun, ask for a table not under any of the outdoor veranda umbrellas. It'll be super hot and super bright if you like that haha! Once you reach your table, order your drinks, then head to the food stations surrounding the outdoor dining area. If you're lucky, you'll be treated to a delightful Hawaiian music group singing away as though you were at a luau celebration. The lobster is furthest from the entrance area nearer to left of the pool; the oysters, lobster claws, stone crab claws, (assemble your own) shrimp cocktail, crab legs, sashimi, steamed fish, and roasted pork are nearest the entrance; and the rest of the items, veggies, salads, many assorted fruits, omelet station, pastas, rice, island manapua treats, and desserts are located inside beyond that whole, steamed fish. Price of this buffet is $75 and although probably the priciest I know of on the island, is really much more than a great deal. It also comes with unlimited iced tea, fresh passion fruit juice, soda, coffee/tea, and one bloody mary per adult (didn't even drink mine!). Customer service was friendly and efficient most of the time, and I say "most" mostly because it was my fault :P Because we sat under the sun under the umbrellas and it was really so hot for me, I made the staff work harder by having to frequently ask for refills of ice and water :P Let's just say they did a great job fulfilling our every beverage whim in addition to clearing our used plates! :D Valet parking is for 3 hours (loosely) max with validation! Take your validated ticket to the porte cochere and hand it to the desk at the right. Don't forget to get a couple dollars out to tip the valet once your car arrives. Located at the Four Seasons Hotel could seem a bit intimidating but it was actually a great experience all in all. The scenery was beautiful and made feel as if I was on another island. My husband and I came here for Sunday Brunch and made reservations in advance. They offered a prefixed menu since they don't have the buffet open. I just got a tip that you can order any of the four courses multiple times to make up for not having buffet style. The cost for the preset was more on the pricier side which made me skeptical but to my surprise, everything was well worth it! On top of that, the server was attentive and very personable. I enjoyed all courses but my two most favorite was the first and second course. *The first course consisted of a blueberry scone and an amuse bouche. The blueberry was amazing. It wasn't too sweet and was moist. It had bits of cream cheese that I wish had more of. The amuse bouche was a great treat that made me excited for the rest of the courses. *The second course was an array of seafood selections! Poke, sashimi, shrimp, and oysters! For a second you think its small portioned, but as you eat you realize this is more than enough. The poke and sashimi tasted fresh. The oysters were sweet and juicy. And to my surprise, the shrimp was good with the cocktail sauce. (I normally don't like oysters or cocktail shrimp). *The third course was overwhelming with intense flavors. The Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, Eggs Benedict, and truffle fried rice were all flavorful, but a bit overwhelming for me. Out of all the food served in this course, I loved the prime rib. *The fourth course - dessert trio was a nice delight. The flavors weren't too sweet and was actually a good way to cleanse your palette from all the dishes before. It was definitely a nice experience and I'm glad we gave them a shot. The king of buffets for the seafood lover. To be honest I haven't been to all the buffets on the island so I can't compare it to the other ones, but this buffet is perfection. Inside of the dining area is an expansive buffet of typical breakfast foods (eggs Benedict, pancakes, bagels, omelet station, fruits, and desserts). I didn't even eat anything from this area except for the desserts. For the early brunch, this is all that is offered and it's quite delicious, however at the later buffet this is secondary and just filler. I stuck to eating what I paid for...seafood. The brunch is now $79 and does not include a Bloody Mary like it did previously. Where to begin, there are crab legs, stone crab claws, oysters and shrimp cocktail by the entrance. There is also a poke and sashimi bar. Honestly the sashimi was my fav, the hamachi sashimi was melt in your mouth amazing. There was also a carving station with prime rib and pork belly. They have ALL THE SAUCES. I hit up these stations twice. Outside, adjacent to the pool is the grill station where they have steak and lobster tails. I feel like a lot of people come to this buffet for the grilled lobster tails and they were delicious. People were pilling on the tails by the dozen. Unfortunately I only ate a few. Buffet is pretty pricey, $82 dollars and some cents, plus tip. Well worth it!! We came because we all love seafood!! All you can eat lobster, crab legs, crab claws, and oysters!!!! Oh my! Mouth salivating. Prime rib, crispy pork slab, oh WOW!! Sushi station, cold cuts, omlet station, pasta, sausage and bacon. Assorted fruits, pastries, and desserts. Soooo good!!! My eyes of course was on lobster tails, I ate till I couldn't eat no more. With the drawn butter, it was so heavenly! Perfect brunch with my perfect mimosa. Restaurant did give a little birthday dessert, but no candle. For the price of buffet and Four Seasons, you would think they could at least put a candle. Never coming at 1:30pm again, buffet is open till 3:00pm. Yay!!! Pig out till 3:00pm. Oh no, it ain't so. Crab legs ran out before 3:00pm. We asked staff if they could replenish the crab legs? Staff responded, they ran out. We were surprised, Buffet we figured, at least with other buffets I've been to, will replenish food items till buffet is over. Went back again to celebrate our 29th anniversary; the food choices were still great, but the experience wasn't as good like the last time. The good: Got to hit their Poke Bar this time (last visit there was a huge line). I got fresh Ahi & Hamachi Sashimi (they slice it from a block of fish right in front of you), and they'll ask you how many slices you want (don't be shy here). They also have Poke in a mug in which you can add some condiments of your choice (I added avocado & Ogo). And they now serve white rice! They didn't have this the last time. Crab claws were better tasting this time around; grilled lobsters, lamb & filet mignon were still good. I didn't get to the Prime Rib & Roast Pork, as I ate too much seafood this time around. The not so good: Fruits like watermelon & cantaloupe were not sweet; probably out of season, although the papaya was good. Some of the desserts were not as great; example - listed beignets were actually more like miniature malasadas (but not up to Leonard's standard). There is also the nuisance of some birds flying around. You need to have at least one person there to watch the table while the others get their food. I accidentally knocked over a glass of water in trying to shoo one away. But the staff were very attentive & came to the rescue very quickly with napkins to absorb the water spill. But the main disappointment for me was that there were no special anniversary dessert made for us like when I had one made for my birthday the last time we visited. I know they do them for anniversaries based on other Yelp photos. I could have reminded them of our occasion but we were so full, it didn't seem worth to mention it. All in all though, this place is still one of the better buffets in the islands, but still needs some improvement. :) read more

You just can't beat the view of the pool and the lagoon in this restaurant located inside the Four Seasons Resort at Ko Olina. My friend and I had reservations for 6 am in hopes to see the sunset over breakfast. That view was beautiful. Definitely one of my top dining views. It was worth the early reservations. The breakfast buffet had the usual items but with quality, gourmet and fusion, as one would expect for the price. My favorite parts about the buffet were: + pickled station - pickled cauliflower, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, kimchi, everything + honey comb for the yogurt parfait +congee - not the best but descent! + fresh papaya; surprisingly, the pineapple was not as fresh Service was a bit lackluster. I had to track down our server to refill my water. Honestly, we didn't see him that much and we were there for a long time. The views and food definitely make up for the subpar service. I know the lagoons are manmade but it's one of the more beautiful sights on the island. I only had breakfast here during my three days at the resort (3x though) so I will only speak to that. I sampled many things while here because I had the breakfast package with my room up to like $90 and I was by myself. So I ordered 2x items every day to sample. My favorite item was the frittata - it had fresh veggies like squash and goat cheese with greens. Didn't come with any potatoes but had a small roast half tomato and a few green beans. Very light and fresh and healthy. I had the yogurt and granola with mixed berries and found it OK but it's bland. You'll want honey or something to drizzle on top. I also had the avocado toast and it is beautifully presented - looks like the prettiest avo toast I've had - shaved radishes, small tomato slice, tons of avocado, green sprigs stuck inside smeared with some mustard seed topping and served with a boiled egg on the side on thick toast. I prefer runny eggs on mine so I didn't care for it. But it was fine. I also ordered the Hawaiian fruit tray/platter/plate on my first day and it is HUGE - it's a ton of fruits - like legit a ton with some fresh honey and two banana bread logs topped with coconut shavings. I had a veggie omelet and wasn't blown away by it - but the breakfast potatoes served with it was the bomb.com! I ate those two days in a row - YUM. They're perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned with salt and.... oregano? Delicious. Lastly, I had the buttermilk pancakes add mixed berries with the warm lilikoi syrup. DELICIOUS. So good. I'll dream about that syrup. Friendly staff who remember you by name when you visit every day (that's their thing at FS) and beautiful setting by the round pool overlooking the ocean. I was not here over a weekend but heard the weekend brunch is amazing. They do have a daily buffet during the week that is also large and well-stocked. read more

Service is very professional and friendly as is expected from the four seasons . The buffet runs from 10:30-2pm and if you have a large party please make reservations ahead of time. They also Validate parking . There is a wide array of things to choose from but the seafood is what is worth it ! They have everything from Sashimi, Oysters, Crab, to even cooked Salmon and Butter fish! I recommend getting the Lobster tails with a big bowl of butter! Dessert selection they have is great as well. As Ko Olina neighborhood residents we are so glad for the reopening of Four Seasons Oahu because it means more dining options for us! Of course Four Seasons Oahu is at the top of our list of favorites in the area. Don't expect everything to be as they were pre-pandemic (like my silly husband assumed) - which means they have yet to resume their Brunch Buffet offering. Currently they offer Sunday Brunch Pre-Fixe menu only - we enjoyed most of it (forgot to ask about accommodating our no red meat dietary restriction). Even with skipping over the red meat in our meal, let me just say - we didn't leave hungry and the freshness/flavors never disappoint. I was so looking forward to trying the cuisine at La Hiki - the "feast from the east" fusion of 6 Asian countries - China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Much to my disappointment I found out they changed the menu just yesterday - OMG! They are now American with a local island style -ugh The dishes are good but pricey! The setting and view is nice though. My husband and I started off with a complimentary rosemary parmesan popover with sweet salted caramel butter. The sweet butter offered a savory addition to the quite dry popovers. We decided to order several appetizers and one entree to share. The Kahuku prawns was probably my favorite of all the dishes tried tonight. It was nicely seasoned and fried mixed with a colorful slaw of bell peppers. The lettuce wedge BLT made with pork belly instead of bacon was good but too heavily drenched with dressing for my taste. I was looking forward to their Bao with duck confit but they only have one Bao dish on the menu now and it's with braised short ribs. It was pretty good. My husband had the New York prime steak with watercress and mushrooms. The steak was ok but not very tender and at $58 I would have expected a little better. The service is good. Very attentive waiters and waitresses. I like how each of them describes with some detail about each dish as they bring it to your table. Our waiter was gracious enough to ask if any of us had any food allergies. They did forget our drink orders and one dish but was sincerely sorry and offered us a complimentary dessert to make up for it. We were lucky to have dined on an evening when a fireworks show was presented for a private function held in another section of the Four Seasons - great extra treat that was free! Nice area to make a Buddha bowl for a vegan or vegetarian option. Noe (the Italian restaurant next door) provides 2 Italian dishes, there is Chinese dim sum, noodles, local dishes. Front area with servers include fresh cut crispy pork belly, prime rib, whole steam fish, sashimi, oysters and crab legs. In the pool area a cook is grilling lobster (best thing here) that you can smell from a distance. First time at La Hiki Kitchen, Four Seasons Resort for a lunchtime dining experience. The last time we dined here was years prior to the start of the pandemic at which time Dinner hours were offered. The lunch menu offered a good variety to quench your hunger. The ambience is casual with many patrons dressed casually after coming in from the pool or walking over from the surrounding properties. The staff were welcoming and service very prompt. Our server, Joseph was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. I dined on the braised pipikaula tacos while my husband chose the New York steak. Portions were just right and didn't leave us feeling like we overstuffed ourselves. The food was very tasty and satisfying! My husband and I were there to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. I think I must of had about 12-16 fresh oysters which were from British Columbia and Washington. There's also a sashimi and poke bar which has really fresh fish. Some of the hot menu items included prime rib, lechon pork, made to order pasta (shrimp Alfredo or marinara), omelet station, pork bao buns and spring rolls. There was also a charcuterie station, soba noodles station and bagel station with locks of salmon. Save some room for dessert because there's a wide selection of sweets such as cookies, matcha butter mochi, danishes, cream puffs, muffins, cheesecakes and more. There was also a pudding and yogurt station and many types of fresh fruits. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The dining area was nice but gets pretty hot after noon time because it's outdoor but covered. All in all, I usually don't care for buffets but this one had quality foods. Came here recently for a birthday celebration and hands down this has been the best brunch buffet I've been to locally in the islands so far. They offer a wide variety of food and there are many stand outs. Two types of Eggs Benedict and the crispiest bacon I've seen for quite some time. Besides the breakfast food, they have all the things you could want in a buffet: two types of crab with drawn butter, tons of cooked shrimp, prime rib, lobster tail, a sushi bar, and the usual plethora of desserts. He were staying at the Four Seasons and after reading so many rave reviews about the Hiki Brunch, we had to try. Reservations were a breeze using the Four Seasons App. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We started our meal with the scone and gezpacho. The Scone was so buttery and delicious! Next course was some sashimi which was super fresh and melted in my mouth. The main entre was lobster, fried rice, and eggs benedict. Each dish was very flavorful but portions generous that we were pretty stuffed at this point. We ended with a dessert trio which were all amazing. My gf's daughter was coming for a visit and to celebrate her return; and hers and my gf's birthday; I made reservation for the Sunday brunch at La Hiki. Yes, Ko Olina is far, far away and this Sunday brunch isn't cheap; but because I really, really love my gf, I decided to take her and her daughter to this highly acclaimed buffet for a very special treat. Sunday: Gf: "Ok! Instead of that wrinkled, old polo shirt, wear this nicely pressed Reyn's aloha shirt. And forget about it! YOU-ARE-NOT-WEARING SLIPPERS!! We're eating at the Four Seasons!" Me: "Yes dear! ...Oh and happy birthday!" It was a beautiful sunny day and if you haven't been, the Four Season's Resort, is drop dead gorgeous. Just remember we are at the Four Seasons! ....and I WILL BE WATCHING! Me: "One lobster!! One inch!! This is a $75 buffet! You got to be kidding! ...Yes dear!" The fresh sashimi and poke station was located right behind the entrance. The line for sashimi and poke was long; and you have to dodge your way through the line to get to your table. We had to stand in line for premium items like lobster, fresh sashimi, poke, prime rib, crab, fresh oysters and ramen (???). The longest and slowest line was at the sashimi and poke station. Nobody was standing in the ramen line. The grilled lobster station was by the swimming pool and surprisingly, that line was short and fast. The chef at the lobster station and I made this telepathic connection. He saw that I was drooling and foaming at the mouth, and without me saying a word, he gave me four lobsters. I guess he could tell that I really, really love grilled lobster. I make my way to the other stations and the rest of the buffet. I pick up all the things I really, really love and like. Four grilled lobster, fresh hamachi and salmon sashimi, fresh oysters, Jonah crab claws, poke, jumbo shrimp, lechon, lox...I was going wild!! And that was just round one. Gf: "What in the world are you doing? I told you; only one lobster! You should take three back! And your plate is piled 3" high! Don't be selfish! Think about the other people in the restaurant? You are embarrassing us!" Me: "BUT I LOVE LOBSTER!! What if I get you a Bloody Mary? Can I keep the lobsters! How about three Bloody Mary's? SHEESH!" Gf: "OOO-K!!!!" We all thought the grilled lobster was delicious. Very sweet tasting and perfectly grilled. The hamachi and salmon were super fresh. The hamachi just melted in my mouth. The fresh oysters were five star quality and I loved the Jonah crab claws. The three of us gave the lobster and this buffet six thumbs up. After the Bloody Mary's, my gf and her daughter were extremely happy. Some would describe them as being delightfully zooked! Gf: "YAAHHOO! ZIPPEE-KA-YAY, MOTHERFLXXKER!" Me: (Embarrassing!!) I was happy too but it would have been more enjoyable if I didn't have to listen to all that nagging. I would have been more comfortable in a wrinkled polo shirt and slippers. We thought this buffet was as good as any of the top buffets in Las Vegas. $75/person is not unreasonable for a AYCE brunch that had all the things I really, really love and like. And no matter what your gf or wife says, go for it! Nothing wrong with eating ten half lobster tails if you really, really love lobster. My friends planned a great birthday celebration for me at La Hiki. I have to start off saying that SERVICE was awesome! It was all of our first time there and i cant ask for better service than what we had today. Our server was Russell and he is definitely Mr. Aloha. While i waited for the rest of my party, he gave me a quick tour of the restaurant and what food was at each station. Of course the best was the BBQ station with the grill and lobster (the meat wasnt dry and not over cooked). My party all had refreshing drinks and he made sure it was constantly filled. Side note: they have coke soft drinks, im not much of a pepsi person. Russell made sure we were comfortable at our table...made sure we didnt sit in the sun (was real humid too). Havent had great service like that in a while. THANK U! Food stations- ive never seen a pickle station before at a buffet...who does that?! La Hiki :) was good. They had a poke bar, lechon kuwali station, seafood station...they even crack the shells for u? How awesome is that! Desserts was all over, more crazy that it was eye level and under. I couldn't make up my mind to figure what i wanted. I have to go back and see if i missed anything. They had live music. I love live music. Guitarist name is Randy and has such a beautiful voice. He never took a break, stood the whole time in the hot weather and smiled. He played all kinds of music and took requests. Because it is brunch, i suggest to come once they open at 11am. Came here for new year's day dinner buffet. The restaurant, tables, and dishes/silverware are beautiful. The food is Asian inspired and I found it to be just okay. For the cost, would have expected a prime rib carving station or sushi made fresh station. I'm giving it four stars because it is beautiful in a 5 star way, but food was more 3 stars. I think in general I have come to prefer non-buffet dinners where everything is freshly made and doesn't sit out. read more

Wow! Delicious weekend brunch at La Hiki! Our favorite items were from the grill station. Half lobster tails, bbq chicken & steak were well seasoned & I really liked the spicy BBQ sauce along with the pickled goodies on their station. They also had snow crab legs, shrimp, crab claws & raw oysters on ice, prime rib & pork belly at the carving station, sashimi/poke station, freshly prepared pasta & an omelette/loco moco station as well as other typical hot & cold buffet items. The burgers for the loco moco were really tough & the prime rib wasn't very tasty. I'll just keep with the grilled items next time!
