The food has improved since I last came 8 years ago. The huevos rancheros was pretty good.

This place is gorgeous! The food does not taste authentic, it has a more American/ Tex Mex flavors. The menudo was not good, it had way too much hominy. The rice had a texmex flavor, I didn't like the seasonings. The filete de pescado was really good and the salsa was actually spicy. The service was not the worst. I guess you can say it went well the second time going lol my 1st time there was for a cousins bday dinner and it was a huge party of like 20 and me & my husband didn't receive our rice & beans & tortillas w our order but we still went back mostly because the pitcher of margaritas are that good lol but the second time around we did get sucked into paying for $16 guacamole which was our fault? I know right well the waiter asked if we wanted some and we said yes? It was very clean and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was very nice and was quick to give us drinks and chips. Chips were good and salsa tasty. Not too spicy but had some kick. I ordered chile relleno with boiled beans. Delicious! The chile was stuffed with lots of melty cheese. The beans were boiled till tender. Rice was cooked well. A little bit later I ordered the chili relleno & chicken enchilada dinner with boiled beans and rice. He ordered the chimichanga dinner. Received shortly later and checked up on before. Our highlights: the chips and salsa and the pet friendly patio. House chips and salsa was as delicious as I remember it. Salsa has great flavor and spice! Unfortunately, our first tray of chips, half was crumbs. Our server was going to charge me more for making the chicken mole enchiladas vegetarian with no meat and wasn't very accommodating. Once I mentioned I had it before, he checked and made it happen. We asked for more chips, salsa and if they had a spicier salsa too. He brought out a 2nd basket of chips and only the spicier salsa. The 2nd basket of chips was better, with whole chips. We had to ask again for the house salsa. Customer service can improve. He got us everything we asked for. We felt like he was ready to clock out with an unfriendly attitude. We came appropriately around 7pm and they close at 9. It wasn't a packed house. Bf says he chat with the owner when he went to ask for to go boxes and he was nice. Chile verde 3/5 - bf says it was a little salty and skimped on meat. He ordered it with corn tortillas. Most expensive chile verde he's paid for that was just okay. $21 Vegetarian mole entree 4/5. That mole sauce is delicious. $20-22? Customer service 2/5 For the price of both entrees, it wasn't worth it. Customer service was great and confirmed this was a one and done for us. La Kebrada has a very good Mexican breakfast. Located in the shopping center across from Woodward Park this is a perfect stop after a nice walk in the park. You can sit back and enjoy the patio with one their tasty Margaritas or Bloody Mary's. My favorite breakfast is their Chilaquiles Con Huevo Red or Green Sauce. I love to get the green sauce. They do not skimp on the portions here. Dinner also has some great options. I love the combination plate. The tacos are nice and crispy and the chili rellano is full of delicious cheese. I love their boiled beans and rice. The salsa is also good. Definitely one of my favorite spots in this area. read more

I got a burrito today, based on a friend who recommended the restaurant. It's very close to my house. I ordered and had my order in 5 minutes! I asked for no onions or cilantro and it was correct. I appreciate the fast and excellent service. Only 2 minor things. I was expecting the burrito have been pan fried (?) like some other places in Fresno. Also, the burrito had too much meat (I know, makes no sense to complain about that). Still, I'll order less meat next time. Cute place, I could see having a margarita and eating inside. read more

Nothing extraordinary with the overpriced mexican food. Service was ok, was not very attentive with bringing water. Only try to sell me the alcoholic drinks. Barely anyone in lunch time. I went to eat at the Woodward on Monday only to find out it was closed. Didn't want to go driving so I decided to try this restaurant. The place was empty which made me nervous to continue but I was starving. Our server was very kind to us. The food on the regular menu was way too expensive but they did have lunch specials for 13.99. Me and my mother both chose to try the taco and enchilada combo. It was pretty good. The quality of the ingredients could for sure be better and I am unsure I would come back with all the good options around town but I don't have any serious complaints either. This was my first time here and I was excited to finally try it since I have been looking for a new go to Mexican place. The atmosphere is fun and festive feeling, very fitting for a Mexican restaurant in that location. Not fancy, but nice feeling enough that it didn't feel totally casual. Our server was friendly and made sure our drinks stayed full. I'm used to Mexican food being ready really fast, and this took a little bit more time than usual, but still totally reasonable. I tried the enchilada and was very happy with my choice. It what a good amount of shredded chicken and the sauce and cheese covering it was savory and just the right touch. It was well seasoned without being spicy or overdone. My girlfriends enjoyed the mango margaritas as well. I will definitely go back to try more! read more

So I went out on a limb and tried this place and was very disappointed. The food was terrible I ordered the Chilaquiles and the chips were literally burnt as pictured below and the sauce was watered down. every time we go here recently we get sick literally. we loved coming here for happy hour and fajitas but they raised their prices on everything and now we feel like they nickel and dime on everything including the chips and salsa and things that used to flow and feel like you're walking out of there with a great deal and a great experience too. We love soup! The three of us wanted green pozole for dinner. Pozole is a soup made usually with red chile powder, pork and hominy. However, during the winter you can order pozole that is made with green chile. It is served with thinly sliced cabbage, cilantro, radishes, onion and lemon. It is a delicious soup. Previously, my daughter ordered it at La Kebrada in the Fort Washington shopping center. She thought it was so delicious that she bought two orders so we could try it. It was great! We thought of this soup and decided to order it. I called and went in person to pick up our order. I was shocked that I paid $55.00 for three bowls of green pozole! After getting home, I checked the menu on Yelp. Unfortunately, the menu is just "photos" of the menu. It was listed as costing $10.99 an order. I was upset that I didn't see this discrepancy when I called to order our food. I suggest that this restaurant type a menu that is readable. I will not return to this restaurant until I can see a menu and check the correct cost of the food. La Kebrada (Fresno) you can do better! read more

Have eaten here several times, not ever my selection but it's convenient and close to meet friends. Everything is WAY over priced just for mediocre Mexican food. Definitely not authentic. Last few times I noticed the chips were stale and cold no flavor. I ordered lunch quesadilla because I didn't want to spend $20 on an enchilada. Thought there's no way to mess up a chicken quesadilla, sure enough was the worst quesadilla I've ever had, even to Taco Bell. The tortilla was cold hard and soggy, there was maybe 5 tiny pieces of shredded chicken, no cheese, no flavor! Disgusting. My kids could make a better one. The prices need to come down drastically as well! Won't spend my money there ever again. There's many more options that are exceptionally better. read more

This place is a memorable spot for we had my grandmother's 96th bday celebration. I frequently went back and had a nice memory of that day but this time only sat at the bar with couple of friends for couple of drinks. Bartender not very talkative nor people person, did bare minimum. Did not place napkin on bar before drinks, we had to ask for a drink menu and the worse... was that their "house" margarita is a premix of a in house mix and served out of like a triple sec bottle. The food was great here. I got the albondigas soup and it was really big. I ate the rest of it today for lunch and it was still very good. I also ordered a Michelada with estrella Jalisco beer and it was really good. I enjoyed my dinner here. The service was great. I was greeted when I came in and talked to one of the employees. He stated on Monday in Clovis they are closed. The waitress checked on us a few times and she brought more chips if we needed them. The restaurant was nicely decorated inside with papel picado and Talavera tile. The bar was also very nice inside and everything looked very clean inside. read more

Bad service. Upon entering the restaurant the person that led us to our table was rude by throwing the menus on the table and walking away without saying anything. The food is also amazing, an honorable mention to their chips and guacamole because it has to be the best I've ever had. The main course was also very delicious. Service was amazing as well.
