I ordered the Street Tacos Only plate and did 3 carne asada and 2 chicken tacos. They had a little more cabbage than I would have liked, but the chicken tacos were my favorite. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and really good with a side of pico de gallo. One of my family members ordered the birria tacos, and after seeing those come out, I already know what I'm getting next time. Awesome dinner! We've eaten here over the years and have always had great experiences. Recent name change, but they're still the SAME people, staff and food items!!! The owner is a long time restaurateur and knows how Mexican dishes should be made! Cute interior, all decorated for Christmas with a Snoopy theme. I was craving an old favorite (a fancy type burrito), but I couldn't decide between the chili verde or chili con carne. Our amazing server solved that issue for me and let me have it half and half! Oh, so good! The chips and salsa are very tasty there and service was impeccable. Just had a sampler plate. It was ok. Ordered a side of fried flour tortilla chips n salsa. Chips were cold so asked the waiter whether they shouldn't be warmed up or kind of temp hot. She said no. Curious, because they were cold and subsequently there was an unpleasant taste of cold grease and a texture. Not sure I will re-visit anytime soon. Mama-Needs to do better. Oh, the margarita was a bit "weak". The complimentary tortilla chips are also a bit light. I believe they charge if requesting a second serving of chips. Lacking in some needed seasoning for most of the dish, but the limes were ripe and juicy adding a flavorful layer! Everyone was very kind and upbeat! Excellent service! However, the food took a very long time to show up. I don't know if it was because of my dish or not, but the wait became concerning after a while. The place as per usual is nice and clean, but the added Halloween decorations were an excellent addition! We go here now and then. So thought I would share my experience today from bobby salazars on champlain and perin! All of the staff was on point today, very busy weekend for them. My experience there today. Was unlike other days as busy as they were, I was still tended to immediately. Everything was right that came out. My drinks were delicious, very personable staff. Had a great time there today. I would highly recommend that you check 'em out. You won't be sorry. Great atmosphere great employees great owner! After writing my review, I then went through the reviews. I was disappointed to see that people would judge this place based on a single experience, people, you have to understand there is a transition period when the economy is struggling small businesses as such have to adjust in some way to continue serving you! We just moved here not long ago from Ventura county. Looking for our new fabulous Mexican restaurant. This is OK. Wet burrito is fabulous. Chimichanga had beef but no other cheeses or seasonings. - really dry!! Fiesta platter is great but taquitos are dry and over cooked. Salsa is thick and fresh but needs more seasonings. Margaritas are average. Suggestions - Provide forks and knives before food arrives and gets cold. I hosted my daughter's bridal shower on the patio. We contacted Susie from Facebook and she sent pricing and all the details about renting the patio for a private party. We ordered the appetizer platter and a 2 item combo buffet lunch. We brought In decorations and desserts. Our event started at 1 pm and we could set up at 11 am. There were 2 extra tables for gifts & desserts. We stayed until 4 pm when another group was coming in. The waiters made sure everyone had drinks and served our food buffet style. The food is always ready on time and one of the few places that get it right! I've never have to check the order when I pick it up. We've never been missing anything or gotten the wrong order. Really Great service yet again! I called in the order for lunch for my mom and I this time. I ordered a chicken and shrimp Monster bowl for myself and a Carne Asada and shrimp Monster bowl for my mother. Also, with extra jalapenos and guacamole on the side. The worker that took my order was very kind. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I went to go get it and the worker was masked and nice. The order was ready. I paid for it, was wished a good day and left. Appreciated! OMG! Can you say extremely Fresh and Delicious? There are no words to describe how thankful my family and I are for this restaurant. My mom graduated from Fresno State and we wanted to throw her a nice party without having to worry about everything. A cousin recommended reaching out to Suzy and asking to reserve their outdoor patio. Suzy and her team were INCREDIBLE!! They reassured us every step of the planning process and handled everything. 75 people showed up and everyone fit comfortably. We were allowed to show up early and decorate the tables. We fit in a DJ in the corner and had a dessert table along with our seating arrangements. Our server, Jasmine, was the absolute best!!! She was efficient, quick, friendly, and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious and Suzy made sure we were all comfortable with the heat by putting on fans and misters. We had plenty of food leftover so when people got hungry again as the night went on, our servers warmed up the food and made additional plates for people. And then at the end of the night, the team cleared EVERYTHING!!! My mom was so happy and I will always be thankful for Suzy, Jasmine, the bartenders, and the rest of the staff. The one star is for the server...he was very good. When our lunch came out the portions were about 1/3 smaller than normal. We thought something was wrong as the chip bowl was 1/2 full...had to ask for another bowl..1/2 full again...as well as the salsa bowl? We brought it to our server's attention and were told that they had cut down on the portion's because of costs...he said he had complaints since this started. He proceeded to take 50% off...very fair! He brought out the table next to ours food and asked if he could take a picture to show the manager...because the portions were so small. We asked to talk to the manager but they were not available. We stopped by later in the week and my husband asked to speak with the manager...which is the owner...told her the issue...we didn't want $ or a free meal...simply let her know! She was defensive and accused my husband of harassment!!!! What...? he was simply letting her know that we were dissatisfied and wouldn't be back if the small portions continued...! We would rather pay more than get small meals... Ex: My tostada compuesta looked great but ended up being mostly lettuce with very little meat....same thing with my husband's burrito...it looked smaller and had very little meat. You can't hide the smaller meat portions with lettuce and beans!!! So, now we go to Sal's, a little further away but remains a good value for the money! Ill start with the food. It was okay at best. I had a shrimp burrito that was tasteless. My son had the short ribs burrito and that was good. The Nachos was shared between my wife and daughter it was just okay. The drinks were an issue. It's impossible, so i thought, to screw up Tequilla, neat. My wife and mother in-law ordered Casamigos Reposado. This drink should be golden in color. They brought back to clear glasses of tequila. We explained we wanted the reposado, and person who brought it said house tequila was poured. 10 minutes later, 2 glasses of clear tequila once again arrive. We said this isn't reposado. She said" yes it is, i saw the bartender pour it". No matter what you saw, this reposado isn't supposed to be clear. We decided to cancel the drinks. towards the end of our meal, the server brings back 2 shot glasses, that are not clear but colored with Casamigos and said we wanted you guys to have a good experience, this is on the house. My wife pours it in a clear glass and it is now golden colored. That is shady as can be. They were trying to pass on cheap tequila as another brand. I'm 54 and have never experienced such a thing. I would never go back to this restaurant ever again. i could not attach a photo of what the drink should look like, but you can look it up for yourself. The manager of that restaurant should be fired for trying to rip people off or for not knowing that this exists in his or her restaurant. read more

I have eaten here a few times and honestly each time the food tastes good and the drinks are well made. We got seated quickly and our server was attentive. The food came out quick and tasted good. We were waiting for our check for a bit but we were talking as we waited and i figured he didn't want to bother us while he chatted so I paused and he came right away. We sat inside the restaurant at the booth and the table felt oddly high as it came to chest level and the cushion in the booth was very flat.
