The service was excellent but the sandwiches served here are not worth it honestly why am I being served a thin sandwich just horrid!! to add onto that they were hard which felt so raw. Came to check out the hype, glad there's a location on this side of town for all the fans. These drinks are sweet, but honestly that's what we love about them. Banana is such an underrated flavor profile and it shines in the Banana cloud latte. The strawberry-dragonfruit cooler was also refreshing and sweet. The La La Dream toast however was not amazing. The amount of cheese and and avacado mash is intimidating and quite frankly not appealing. The avacado was definitely not fresh. I was excited to try La La Land and see what all the hype is about. Unfortunately, it is a huge disappointment. They were out of small cups so told us we had to order large or medium, they wouldn't put a small drink in a larger cup. The drinks tasted ok but were no better than any other coffee shop around. I was disappointed we paid more for the larger sizes since they weren't impressive. We tried a chocolate chip cookie that was overcooked. Even though they had plenty of staff, a couple even standing around with nothing to do, the cashier was trying to take orders and heat up food with no help so the line moved much slower than necessary. I hate to even comment on the environment since personal taste varies so much. For me, however, it seemed very cold and unwelcoming. There's no place to wait for your order rather than standing along the wall in a narrow area in front of the counter. The music was so loud we could barely hear the cashier. Also, the QR code on the app didn't work so I couldn't use it to pay or accumulate points. They won't be necessary though since we won't be back. read more

Finally got to try out La La Land Cypress. There's still a good 20 minutes wait time that was out the door. They do a great job with crowd control inside so it's not so busy and tight. We ordered a few drinks such as the Strawberry Cloud Latte and Banana Cloud Latte both with matcha. I have to say I couldn't taste much banana flavor and the strawberry flavor is very subtle. I would have liked it to have more taste otherwise just taste like milk. Prices are average to what you're paying for matcha/ coffee drinks around the area. Inside is super cute, spacious and plenty of seats. I'll have to try and return to try another drink but definitely not in a hurry since there is a wait. read more

Went to the soft opening today with my fam. Staff is super nice, very helpful and dedicated. We tried cookie and dream latte, salted vanilla coffee, mango peach passionfruit cooler. This has to be the most overhyped coffee shop I've ever been to. I ordered three drinks thinking this was my chance to sample the menu, especially during the soft opening. I'd heard all the hype about this being the matcha spot, so naturally I had to see what the fuss was about. I was told they whisk matcha fresh to order at some locations, but based on my visit, it looked like the matcha was pre-mixed and poured from a glass container. If ceremonial matcha is actually involved, then wow that's a crime. Nowhere on the menu does it state the different sizes or pricing. Based on the menu, I assumed there was only one size until I got to the register and had to order. I was surprised to see small, medium, and large options. Lala's Favorites: La La Latte - I picked matcha, and it tasted like milk with a very distant memory of matcha. The color will have you convinced, but your taste buds will immediately file a complaint. Matcha Squared Latte - With a name like that, you'd expect a strong matcha flavor. Instead, it was basically another cup of milk with a little matcha powder dusted on top. World's Best Vanilla Latte - Bold name. Very bold. I ordered it with espresso, expecting something worth the title. Instead, it came out so watered down that even the espresso looked embarrassed to be there. I am quite disappointed in lala land. I placed an online order and while i was waiting i decided to place an order for a couple pastries in store. 2 of my drinks came out and i had to wait an additional 5 minutes for my last one. On my banana cloud latte, i asked for no cinnamon, add cocoa. They completely ignored that which wouldnt have been a huge issue if i didnt have to pay for the cocoa!! I then ordered the strawberry cloud chai with almond milk, the flavor on this was a complete 0/10!! It tasted like straight watered down almond milk. The pastry order was completely forgotten and I had to ask for it, the guy had to reprint the stickers for that. The banana cloud latte was good but i wouldnt go back. I'm sure the wait would have been much longer if the weather was nice. Anyway, I was with my 10 yo daughter. I've been twice since they opened and probably won't be back for a while. I went the second time to give it a 2nd chance once the lines calmed down. The toast 10/10! I've tried one with strawberries and banana and of course an Avacado toast. So good! The matcha/coffee - I don't know why but these drinks have no flavor. The first time I tried a banana cloud latte and a strawberry cloud matcha. Drinks were watered down and had very minimal cold foam so there was no "flavor". I was disappointed I wasn't able to get the 50% off since the app crashed and the discount only applied to app orders. The 2nd time - I tried a strawberry cloud matcha and extra pumps of sweetner. I still received such a small amount of cold form.. you could hardly see it. I wanted to love La La Land.. I only ended up loving their toast. I went to this new store and it was insanely busy. That was not a problem for me. I was meeting a friend for coffee. I placed my order after waiting in line for 25 minutes. I waited an additional 45 minutes and still had no coffee. An employee that worked at the store was sitting next to my table. She informed my friend and I that they were very busy on Saturdays. Not a problem. After we had been sitting there for over an hour, her friends walked in. She got up and let them have her table. Then she went and got a machine to order some drinks for them. She came back with their drinks and I was still waiting for my coffee after 45 minutes. I find this to be completely unacceptable customer service. I don't mind making my turn. But an employee's friends took precedence, over a paying customer that had been waiting for over an hour. Customers should be treated fairly and receive service in the order that is appropriate, regardless of whether they personally know an employee. read more
