I was out and about in Dallas earlier this week for a doctors appointment and went to check out La La Land since I've been wanting to go for a while! The French Toast Matcha was absolutely delicious! I really love how they have non-dairy "clouds" from coconut cream and it's actually creamy. A lot of places will do non-dairy cold foam and it'll be super thin. I will definitely try more on their menu next time. The service here wasn't super great unfortunately, I was greeted by what I presume is the manager (she was kind) but the people behind the bar seemed like they had other places to be. Not the worst service, but it made me want to try other locations in the future instead. Inside the building is really cute though! The atmosphere is lively and bright. I will be checking out other locations for sure!
Customer service fantastic, and super friendly. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Yes you can customize your drinks. Whether you're vegan gluten-free vegetarian or nut free the spot has it for you. Matcha is absolutely delicious! Like no kidding it is. Saturday and Sunday morning if you come to this location, just be aware to wait over 40 min that is not included waiting in line to make order. The barista does take their best job and make your drink. It's wonderful as they can just be patient and your drink will come. It does get nosy on the weekend. If you come out a weeknight near closing time, it is very chilled and quiet.
The best thing about my 1st experience at the much talked about La La Land. Café was the atmosphere. It's very clean and the colors reflect the same vibrant and refreshing atmosphere as the clientele. Everyone there was so young that I wondered if they were going to card me because I'm almost 60. Fortunately, no one did and my order was welcomed. I ordered their classic latte and that was the best $7 latte that I've ever had. It was also the 1st $7 latte that I've ever had and the last. The cost of a small cup of coffee, with bad ice, informed me as to why everybody there is really young. They don't know what coffee used to cost. I would definitely go again just for the atmosphere, but I would probably get a bottled water. That wouldn't be because I can't afford it. It's just hard for me to wrap my mind around that much money for coffee and milk. I do need to add that they have fabulous sturdy plastic straws. That's thanks to President Trump. No more paper straws.
Small coffee shop that was very crowded. Very popular. Hard to find parking. Had to park a few blocks down the street. Do you walk with enjoyable though. Once I ordered, I may be waited about five minutes for my drink to come out which was not a long waited offer for how many people were inside. All of the sitting inside was taken. So I sat outside at the entrance. There were some tables and chairs on the porch. It was good weather so I did not mind. The sugar cookie latte I got was very sweet and tasty.
Came on a Saturday afternoon, which was probably the worst timing since they had just launched their Disney collab. I've had their banana matcha before and loved it, so I was excited to come back for that fix. The cafe was absolutely packed, and while I expected a wait, I didn't think it would take quite that long for just one drink. Operationally, the team seemed overwhelmed. There were only three baristas up front??? One taking orders, one on the espresso machine, and another pouring milk. At one point, another girl popped out from the back just to pull stickers and left??... It definitely felt understaffed for the crowd, and it showed in the pace of service. The girl finishing the drinks looked exhausted and eventually stopped calling out names or orders, which left customers walking up and touching drinks to figure out whose was whose. I also noticed milk being left out for a long time, which made me uneasy. I asked for extra banana foam on my drink, but it didn't taste quite right...probably because it had been sitting on the counter too long. I still love their drinks, but the experience this time was pretty disappointing. If you're planning to visit, I'd recommend going during slower hours to avoid the chaos.
Free parking available in the lot directly outside The interior is very sleek, minimal and clean in design I had the avocado toast with chili crunch and it was satisfying ($10) I also tried the espresso latte with banana creme top and it was like drinking a dessert but not overly sweet ($6-ish) The staff here is friendly and accommodating The straws provided are in a shape of a heart so I found that to very unique and cute
La La Land is soo cute!! I'm so happy I got to try this Dallas-based chain in Dallas. The matcha is good. The matcha is not the strongest, but I haven't tried the Matcha Squared drink. The drinks I tried were perfectly sweet and such a beautiful green color. Service was on par. The place gets really busy, especially with mobile orders, so the wait can be long.
Beautiful place! Drive is self service; order up front. Staff was busy but respectful, tactful, professional. They were busy but, they worked fast. My friend and I wanted to stop by for some coffee or caffeine while we were in the area. They have a variety of options but I chose to make my own drink; coffee and matcha mix and it was delicious, and my friend ordered a lavender latte. We loved our drinks and the presentation of our drinks. Love the yellow touches and aesthetic of the cafe. Great for small and large groups but mostly "study" or work groups. Place is great for studying or meetings and meet ups but still considered fast paced; lots of people coming and going. Love this franchise and will definitely stop by again. Till then, let's sip!
The aesthetic is always top tier. Even the cups are a vibe. We love coming every now and then for a treat. Friendly staff as well. I got the pumpkin spice latte this visit and was gravely disappointed, which is a first for me. My husband got the pumpkin pie latte and it was way stronger with the pumpkin flavor and even spice. Their avocado toast is incredible with the red pepper flakes, the cookies are thick and yummy, and until the pumpkin spice latte I never had a bad coffee. The espresso is smooth and rich, I look forward to it every time we're nearby.
This place has never let me down. It's always nice and clean inside. The service is always great and fast, even though they tend to get busy. They have one the best matcha lattes to me and will keep coming for a sweet treat. Their pastries are always good as well, my favorite is the almond croissant!
We all know of the big name and sometimes over rated coffee shop chains however stop and take a glance to give this place a "look, see". This has the charm of being at someone's home. From the seating on the front porch, the inside seating and yes even the seating in the backyard, you can find a spot to plunked down to catch up with a friend, read a good book and finish typing that paper up. But the joy is you can also grab sometime to eat to help pass the time. Today's visit was the lala tea (lavender pea I believe she said) and the avocado toast minus the cilantro. The lady was nice enough to let me taste the tea as there were a few drinks I had my eye on and this clinched my decision. The avocado toast comes on this nice thick slice of sourdough bread that she asked if I would like toasted and cut (YES PLEASE!) then slathered with mashed avocado that has a nice squeeze of lemon juice in it. It's topped with chili flakes and usually cilantro (my taste buds don't mesh well with that so mine was sans cilantro) which creates a yummy bite. However they have lots of things to choose from which makes coming back a no brainer. There is a parking lot as well as some other parking so don't get intimidated by the location and what we know to be lack of parking. Seriously if you haven't been, you should check them out. You might just find your new little spot. read more

La La Land is definitely one of my favorite coffeeshops in Dallas! Whenever I'm in town I make a point to stop by. It's decorated so festive for the holidays and the cups are customized from the usual yellow. I got the French toast latte which was a hit as always! Cute coffee spot nestled in lower Greenville that is dog friendly (there's a mini dog park onsite). The staff were really sweet and made my dog a puppuccino to enjoy while I waited for my latte. Their drinks are a nice treat, but a bit on the sweet side for my personal taste. Good for those looking for a place that has matcha and/or a wide selection of lattes. Mini-Disclaimer: It's usually pretty crowded and the parking can be a pain as it is next door to a Trader Joe's. You gotta get there early if you want to work there because all the tables fill up fast. read more

I love this place so much but I will say don't come here if you're in a hurry in the morning. I ordered mine online and still waited 45 minutes after arrival for my coffee. While standing there I saw several people cancel their orders because it was taking too long and they had to get to work. Maybe my order just got lost? They had people with pickup times 20 minutes after mine getting their orders much sooner than I did. The staff was truly doing the best that they could and I'm really impressed with their hustle and level of customer service. I'm hoping the opening of the La La Land on Fitzhugh will help abate the morning rush on this location. It's still by far my favorite latte in Dallas! read more

Visited Dallas for a few days and this was a spot I wanted to try! I got the Matcha Strawberry (fields?) and it was THEE BEST DRINK!! My BF who hates coffee got the perfect latte and even said that was great. We got there around 10:30 AM and that place was jam packed. The line was long but moved quickly, we got our drinks in no time. There's a bunch of cute merch to choose from and a variety of drink options. If you're around, do give them a try! read more
La La Land Kind Cafe was recommended to us by our Uber driver as we were heading to a meeting in Dallas. We stopped in and loved the vibe of the cafe. We were obsessed with the clothing you could purchase, the items were so soft and really cute. The baristas working there were really kind and helpful. I overhead a patron talking about her allergy and asking if the barista could confirm if the ingredient was in one of the items, and the barista did her due diligence to find out the information. For drinks, I got the green mango tea and she got the purple rain latte. Neither wowed us in flavor, I couldn't really taste the mango, which was a little disappointing. Went here with one of my friends a few days ago - I ordered the Lavender Bloom Matcha Latte and they ordered the S'mores Latte. The latter is one of their holiday drinks and you can order it hot or iced. Neither drinks were too sweet and we both enjoyed what we ordered! I've been here multiple times and the staff is always kind and helpful. I absolutely adore the messages on the cups and love how aesthetically pleasing this spot is. read more

I'm a fan of the mission behind La La Land - the business believes in kindness and that success is measured on the positive impact made in society. Love it! I would recommend visiting during a weekday. During the weekends, a walk-in visit could take upwards of 45 minutes. It's crowded and busy during the weekends regardless of time of day. Maybe order ahead online? The venue is adorable in a little house. Parking is a bit of a pain because it is located off Greenville, so that's expected. Usually all seats are taken - again busy on weekends. Yet, even during the weekdays when I've visited the seats were always occupied. The lavender latte is the best I've had! If you're a fan of lavender, I can't recommend it enough. One tip, the drink itself is super sweet and I order it as least sweet as possible, which is perfect for me. read more

Quaint place in a White House a block off Greenville. They even have the iconic yellow Chevy outside. They have a great staff who will discuss the menu with you. I've been here twice to study, once inside and once outside. The music was bumping inside and it was such a nice vibe I just wish the tables weren't sooo close together. The drinks are great but when i came back to sit in the back i was severely disappointed. We sat in the back corner and it just stunk like trash. On the other side of the fence there was no dumpster we could see so we moved near the ramp. Once there we see old dog poop and with the wind blowing, very quickly our meal and drinks were ruined. I know it's owners responsibilities to pick up their pets poop but it was very disappointing. We got the secent of the trash still with the smell of dog poop made us leave immediately. Not worth it unless you sit inside. read more

There are beautiful, instagrammable, aesthetically pleasing bars/cafes/and restaurants out here in Dallas. That's a fact. But being all these things doesn't automatically equate to delicious food, affordable prices, and cozy feelings. It's usually one or the other. La La Land is truly BOTH. Firstly, their mission. Giving second chances is so important. Second, their drive-by kindness videos brings tears to my eyes. I absolutely adore them! Old house converted to a cute coffee shop in Dallas, not LA! It's off a side street in Lowest Greenville neighborhood which is a lively strip of restaurants and shops. Note to come back in the evening. It has a nice porch with rockers and a couple small tables. Good amount of seating indoors but temperature was highly air conditioned. When traveling, we look for the local coffee shops and we were not disappointed. Ordered the seasonal gingerbread latte, less sweet but still sweet enough. Such a little gem! This coffee shop is located inside of an old home and has a cute, fun vibe. They offer a variety of avo and fruit toast options, cold and hot coffees, pastries and merch! I'm not lost in La La land, I'm more like stuck on this place here! I can't get over how adorable this coffee shop was. I picture the minimalistic clean aesthetic, girlie to the artsy creatives getting their coffee here. My lavender oat milk latte was all looks either. It was nice! I'm obsessed with their cups. This is one of those places where I truly felt like I got sucked into the "flawless" reviews. It was disappointing and it did not come close to meeting the hype that everyone is talking about. I have a feeling a lot family and friends of friends of friends are pumping this place up. I asked for the best sellers, she mentioned the Matcha was fantastic and high quality, and the Lavender was popular too. I got a small Matcha with Oat Milk. As far as the pastries and desserts were concerned, it was slim pickins when I showed up so I passed on those. The drink came out - and the Matcha was good, not great or phenomenal, but good. So I decided to go for the Lavender this time around with Oat Milk. I gotta say the Lavender was very bland, it did not have a strong lavender taste - could barely taste it. Overall with my experience here I felt like I was getting glass of oat milk with some light powder in it, some of which i could tell it was powder, but overall there is a severe lack of depth in my drinks. It just tasted mostly like a glass of Oat Milk w/ some mild powder flavoring. The customer service was nice and helpful. They were friendly and eager to please, which helped boost this to a 2-star experience instead of a 1-star. Nice yellow napkins w/ logo, nice tables, nice lounge chairs, but the drinks lack depth and robustness. I cannot say I will be back here for a repeat visit but it was nice to meet ya. read more

Yes! Our indoor seating is open to 50% capacity. We have spread out tables throughout the space.
What are their vegan options?
Hi James! We can make almost any drink vegan with a choice of our alternative milks (oat, soy, almond, and coconut). We also have grab and go items like chia seed puddings made vegan!
