    Top banana

My friend and I met for coffee at JuJu's coffee on Wednesday morning around 9am. There were a few other people inside the small shop so we waited and grabbed a table right after ordering. I asked the cashier for his recommendation between the top banana and the coconut coffee and he suggested the TB, which I ordered with almond milk. The coffee is in the pricier side, but you really are paying for good quality. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the top banana was an excellent choice. It tasted just like banana bread. Another barista made conversation with us since we sat at a table right by the order bar and he was so kind. Another barista joined in too and gave me a bunch of recommendations on where to go for a trip I was telling her about. I've never had conversations like this with baristas in other shops, the people here are just amazing! I highly recommend JuJu's and will be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little neighborhood coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They roast their own coffee beans and even close every Tuesday to do so! They are currently celebrating 3 years of being in business- their do si do latte is going viral on social media right now. Me personally- I'm not a huge peanut butter fan so I got the Neapolitan Latte and it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry ! So good! The staff is so nice and personable and your name to pick up your order is a famous character.. mine was Ted Lasso! Highly recommended if you're in the area !

Juju's Coffee is a staple coffee shop for me. I adore the Otis Latte typically. Recently, the "do-si-do" latte broke waves on social media. It's a peanut butter latte. I've tried pb lattes at another local shop in Dallas that is amazing. However, this one missed the spot for me completely. I appreciate what seems to be a natural tasting peanut butter with what tastes like less added sugar. The latte also has added honey. What I didn't like was how thick the latte and gritty. It made it an unpleasant experience, for me. However, this won't steer me away because I actually love this place but this wasn't the drink for me. Service was great, no complaints.

Insane coffee!!! The do si do latter is one of the best I've ever had!!! The peanut milk takes it to another level! Actively planning on the next time I can get this! The service was great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the inside is cute with adorable merch as well!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 100% recommend the do si do latte!

Came here after a not great experience at another coffee shop. Instantly greeted by the barista who was so warm and welcoming! Answered all of our questions about beans and brewing. We left with some freshly ground espresso beans. I tried the Otis latte and it was great!

Lovely service, great coffee, & great pastries! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is also super cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Def curious to try more.

Visited this small coffee shop since we were in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice, retro vibe; they have a few tables for seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it's def smaller so you might not be able to get a table to work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very nice, even chatted with us while drinks were being made. The coffee quality was in my opinion average. The pour over could've had more flavor, but it wasn't burnt so that was a plus. We also tried a sesame latte that could've used more sesame flavor. Slightly disappointed but the results haven't driven me away yet, I think I'll it another go if I'm around.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cozy spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came here with a girl friend after she kept raving about this place-- I knew I had to see what the fuss was about! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coffee shop itself is tiny but mighty. Small space with very limited seating (probably three tables) but that's ok!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone that visited while I was there just ordered their drink & headed out. Very grab & go vibes. Their matcha is very very very good. I ordered an iced matcha latte with Oatmilk and honey & it was very rich tasting. None of that fake stuff. Service was super quick. Ordered & got our drinks very soon after! I would definitely visit again & try something new. Good spot.

The staff were friendly and gave great recommendations based on my preferences! Both drinks tasted great and finished very fast!

This is a tiny shop on the corner of a street, but you can tell it's beloved amongst the neighborhood as it was quite busy on a weekday midmorning. The staff greeted me kindly and were patient in helping me decide what to order. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk that tasted absolutely and my friend ordered a Matcha which tasted very authentic and refreshing.

It was my first time in Dallas and I came across this coffee shop on google maps. I am so glad I found this little coffee shop! The service was great. The barista was very nice even though it was bit busy and working by himself. Parking: It is mostly street parking but fairly easy (I went on a weekday). I ordered the Orange Bird - Hojicha tea with Americano, Chocolate, and Orange bitters. I was hesitant about getting this drink because I am usually a latte or matcha girly. I was intrigued by the drink because it has Hojicha. So I went with it. AND IT WAS 10/10. I was very surprised! Slightly sweet but not too sweet. You get more of hojicha and chocolate with notes of orange.

While both were good, I especially enjoyed the flavor of the mushroom one. The florentine tasted a little bit more plain than I like. The portions were surprisingly generous, which was a nice bonus. I also picked up an egg and pepper kolache and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the kolache actually ended up being my favorite item of the meal. There was a steady flow of customers the entire time I was there, which says a lot about the place. The staff were all friendly and easy to talk to. I really liked the décor and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy my breakfast. I'll definitely be back to try more things.

It's a lunch spot with sandwiches and a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop or read a book, but also to take a casual date or your family for breakfast. They have a gluten free bread option (woohoo) and I've had both their avocado toast and the fried egg breakfast sandwich (with added avocado haha). Both are sooo good. The avocado toast comes with smoked salmon, which I do like, but I'm more of a basic avocado toast person. It also has a little pico de gallo and red pepper flakes! The breakfast sandwich is 2 over easy eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on sourdough (I subbed gluten free bread and added avocado) with a side of breakfast potatoes. It's a lot of food -- super filling and delicious. I also recommend their iced latte with whatever house-made syrup your prefer (usuals like caramel, vanilla, mocha, and then not-so-usuals like coconut pandan, lavender, brown sugar date, etc.). Enjoy!

However they were attentive and the overall ambiance was nice and upbeat for a brunch place. Food wise, everything here was average. Nothing stood out as something I absolutely would come back for. We got two Benedict's that were not very warm and has hollandaise/gravy that was not very flavorful but the home fries were seasoned and fried well. The French toast was quite good but was very obviously put in the microwave right before serving with a steaming hot center. The best part was the blueberry kale salad which had a nice vinaigrette and the cashews were a nice touch. Overall, with the number of brunch spots in Dallas I would reserve halcyon for study/coffee spot as opposed to a must try weekend brunch.
