The cashier was really sweet but the drink itself was disappointing. I got the Strawberry matcha and the drink was a 1.5/5. The matcha wasn't strong and the strawberry was weak. Overall the drink was too milky.

This La La Land location always has long lines no matter what time you go. I am not sure maybe it's because of the location. There are other coffee shops around, but seems like this is the most hyped place. I saw the long Line for ordering, therefore, I placed my order online. Even with ordering online I had to wait 10 minutes or so. This is a really cute coffee shop. It has both indoor and outdoor seating area. Indoor is picture worthy. I noticed a lot of people were taking pictures. I ordered a latte. It was really good. I will give them credit for the coffee. It tasted really and was a perfect drink for a hot weather. I highly recommend ordering on the app to avoid the long lines. They have the cutest cups too. This location is located in Americana. For parking, there is metered street parking, Americana parking or just park in Glendale Galleria and walk to this location.

Always on a hunt for a good banana latte and found here at La La Land. I got the banana cloud latte which comes iced. You have the option to get it with espresso and or matcha! I got mines with espresso and it was so good. We always tried the Kieth Lee order which was a 4/5 (Strawberry Matcha). Service was pretty good with the exception of the lady sitting the tops that you drink from on the counter (not sanitary) and she got an attitude from me asking for a new top! Very busy place! But ordering seems to go by long. Over all so glad we tried it?

I had heard so many great things about La La Land, so I was glad I finally got the chance to try it. My first attempt at their Grove location didn't work out, so I was pleasantly surprised that the wait this time wasn't too bad. It was probably because it was Coachella weekend. As soon as I got there, I ordered the banana cream matcha, and it was a delightful surprise. The banana flavor tasted natural rather than artificial, and the matcha added a nice layer of depth that balanced everything well. It was a unique combination that really worked. The main reason I'd take off a star is the wait time--it still felt a bit long for what it was. I can only imagine how busy it gets on a typical weekend. The staff seemed a little tired, which is understandable given how popular the place is, but overall the experience was still positive. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely come back especially if the line is as manageable as it was this time. I'm not sure I'd wait through a much longer line for it to be honest. Until next time.

I visited La La Land Kind Cafe and had a bit of a mixed experience. The first thing you notice is the huge line -- it's always packed. The interior is absolutely beautiful, very aesthetic and clearly designed with Instagram in mind. It's definitely one of those places where you come for the vibe and the photos. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience pleasant. Prices are a bit above average, which I wouldn't mind as much if the coffee matched my taste. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. Overall, it's a great spot for Instagram stories and a pretty atmosphere, but personally, I wouldn't come back because the coffee didn't meet my expectations.

I am not sure I would wait hours for La La Land, but it had a decent drink and if I was in the area and they had a short line, I would go back. I've been La La Land all over social media and since I was at the Grove, I definitely wanted to try. I got lucky and the line was only about 15 minutes. The employee was nice and I opted for the matcha latte. They have milk alternative, which is nice for a lactose intolerant like me. Drinks came out fairly quickly. They told us to wait outside where there is a pick up window. My matcha latte was pretty good, wasn't too strong and had a balance level of sweetness. Overall, I really liked the drink. I also tried the coffee latte, which wasn't my favorite, because the coffee was slightly too bitter for me. There's some seating inside and more seating outside. But even when I came during a slower time, there were no seats available. I was OK with it because I grabbed my drink and wandered around the Grove. But, if you're looking for a sit down experience, definitely would consider the limited seating.

A LA staple!!! I love La La Land!!! Everytime I have been here it has always been consistently good! The staff is always nice, the inside is a vibe and the drinks are so good!!!! They also have a wide variety of pastries and they sell merchandise! Cute hats and cute candles!!! This one is located in Glendale at the Americana. Yum, yum, I love you!

Headed here on a busy Saturday afternoon with my wife and daughter, and it was packed. Makes total sense for this popular spot at the Americana. One confusing thing when you first walk in: figuring out the lines. There's a clear order line and a separate pickup line, and many people looked totally lost trying to figure it out. We jumped into the order line right away and the wait to place our order was not bad at all. But be prepared as drinks took over 30 minutes to come out. That said, it was absolutely worth it. My wife ordered the Banana Cloud Latte with matcha. My daughter got the Super Strawberry Milk and drank it so fast it was clearly a hit. I went with the World's Best Vanilla Latte with espresso, salted. They weren't kidding with the name. Not crazy sweet, perfectly balanced vanilla bean flavor with just the right touch of salt to make it delicious. Easily one of the better coffee drinks I've had in a long time. Smooth, flavorful, and satisfying. The cups they use are really neat too, cute and well designed, which added a nice touch to the whole experience. The bright, kind vibe of the place shines through even when it is slammed. If you're at the Americana shopping or strolling, this is a fun stop with creative drinks that deliver. Come for the dreamy lattes, stay for the long but rewarding experience. Just order ahead on the app if you can to skip some of the hassle. And here's to the fools who dream of getting their Banana Cloud without the 30 minute wait.

Was browsing around at the Americana and stumbled upon this bougie yellow coffee shop so I decided to check out the menu. After reading the description for their specialty Banana Cloud Latte, I couldn't resist giving it a try. The staff taking my order was very friendly and chatty - but she got my order wrong. She gave me a small instead of a medium even though we had a lengthy conversation about how tiny the small cups are and joked around that they looked like the sippy cups you give to babies. So even though I asked for a medium, she rang me up for a small - which is about three sips of drink for $8 after tip - and unfortunately I didn't notice until I picked up my order. The espresso had a very smooth, nicely roasted flavor which I really enjoyed and it wasn't overly sweet. But there was hardly any banana flavor in the drink and the cloud top was thin and completely bland. The place was packed and to-go orders were piling up on the counter - but the numerous staff behind the counter were not bothered - they weren't calling out any names and were chatting and goofing off amongst themselves mostly - leaving one very relaxed and unbothered lady making coffee after coffee by herself at her own sweet pace with no help - and leaving the customers to crowd around the orders and figure it out for themselves. The yellow and white decor is inviting and grandiose - tall ceilings and giant chandeliers - very much in keeping with the high end vibes of the Americana area. But they had the floor-to-ceiling windows open in their unshaded cafe and it was absolutely roasting inside and out. The outdoor seating was all in full sun with little to no shade and sun was pouring in and covering the inside tables as well. Definitely uncomfortable - I can't imagine this would be a pleasant place to "relax" in such hot weather. I was happy to get my tiny little iced latte and leave to find some shade to cool off. Cute spot but overpriced and overhyped with customer service seriously lacking. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to stop here - but I wouldn't avoid it either.

I have walked by this place many times, but finally went in today. When ordering, I let the cashier know that I was gluten free and that it was my first time. This was the first bad experience. It took her many minutes to find out if there were any consumable items other than the coffee and teas for me. There wasn't, which was surprising, but okay. Then I wanted to order my beverage and was asked a bunch of questions about their most popular drink, the banana ice latte, something I had never had, and subsequently find Artifical tasting and gross. I also got the hemp chia seed pudding which was incredibly delicious. The service was lacking, and generally not worth the price and a contrast to the bright and cheery interior. I don't recommend this place and won't be back. Go elsewhere if you need a latte. There's lots of options and you can both enjoy your drink and service with a smile.

Gave this spot another shot and I'm glad I did. I ordered the strawberry matcha and was surprised by how good it was. The matcha tasted high quality, smooth, and well balanced without being overly sweet. They use fresh strawberries as well which I enjoyed. This was not my experience the first time. The wait time after ordering can be a bit long but the staff are friendly and the service is great even though it's always busy in there. Safe to say they redeemed themselves this time, and I'd come back for another round of that strawberry matcha.

I officially made my second time visit today...and I think I love it even more now! The drinks are always good, but what's really refreshing in the morning is the energy. Everyone seems to be on the same page, and it just feels so welcoming from I walked in. Ben (the manager) was the one who took my order, and he gave a super easy going energy that made the whole experience feel so easy....after looking at the menu for a half hour, LOL! I absolutely hated the strawberry matcha with the added cream top. This is the worst strawberry matcha i've ever heard. It tasted nothing like matcha after mixing and looked so brown which leads me to believe that their strawberry is artificial to the max. It was really bad i know this place is very hyped but it's so expensive for poor quality matcha. Maybe go try just to try but definitely don't get this. My friend also didn't like his matcha. I loved how this place looked, white tables outside and inside with the iconic yellow cups and yellow flowers. The staff was really busy so I wouldn't take their attitudes to heart cause I get it, but some of them give u a friendly smile. My matcha latte was rily milky and barely tasted the matcha but tasted like vanilla milk. My boyfriend said his lavender bloom latte wasn't worth the $8 and was really sweet. read more

From an aesthetic point of view, this place is utterly adorable--from its storefront to its indoor ambiance. It's definitely photo worthy and the cafe doesn't skimp out on the packaging for their products (from their cups, sleeve holders, and especially their super duper cute heart-shaped straws). However, I don't think these things justify the cost of their beverages. The beverages themselves were.... meh. My husband and I got different matcha drinks (I got the strawberry and he got the one advertised to taste like fruity pebbles...), and my friend got a coffee-based drink (namesake latte). For almost $22... I can't say that the drinks were worth it at all for their price. Idk if they're stingy with the matcha, but our drinks mostly tasted like milk. (And trust me... I am a HUGE matcha fan.) I was pretty excited about this place bc it focused mostly on coffee and matcha, but it was underwhelming. I'm glad to have tried it once for its cute vibes, but won't be returning. read more

the banana cloud matcha latte is great and one of my favorites however, my issue is with customer service. i've been to this location multiple times and i have issues with customer service EVERY TIME. the first time, the workers were just busy talking to their friends who came to visit them at work and they weren't calling out names for the drinks ... i stood there for 15 mins waiting for my drink when all along it was ready. it seemed they cared more about hanging out with their friends while working?? the second time, the person taking my order was sitting down and wasn't paying attention while i was ordering. okay whatever. i pay and she just doesn't say anything. not a "you're all good" or a "thank you" so im like "okay is everything all good???" like did my payment go thru ?? and she's like "ya" and continued talking to her co workers. idk i really like the drinks but the customer service needs major improvement. read more

So my friend and I came here having never tried it and were very surprised at how good everything was. From the coffee, to food choices, to their aesthetic for their coffee shop, I was genuinely happy with everything. I think the food was a definite highlight of their work. The service was amazing and very polite to everyone who was inside. The only think I don't like about the coffee shop, is the location. I do not want to do to Americana at brand every time to really just pick up coffee. Yes, you could technically park on the other side of the street where Americana is and walk over, but then you deal with a load of traffic for just coffee. So you can pick your poison. Just dropping a note to say how much I appreciate this sweet little café. It's at the Americana, which can be pretty chaotic, but every time I go in there, it's so bright and cheery and it has such a good vibe to it, that the minute I sit down, I immediately feel better. There's so much to choose from, but I think my favorite is the mango passionfruit cooler and the M.A.K.A toast! Such a great little spot and I love what they are doing with the La La Land Foundation which aims to support young adults who have aged out of foster care. Fresh new location in Glendale! What's more beautiful than their yellow interior design with chandeliers is the owner supports foster youth with jobs & training interns. This is the best thing I've heard today, money well spent!! There was a line outside but not too long-waited maybe an hour Me & my bestie got the Lala land coffee & I ordered the lala dream avocado toast to go. It tasted like truffle oil which was odd but there might have been an error with the ordering. Even though they forgot the food for maybe a decent 30 minutes they were so nice about it so I didn't mind waiting. Will be back to try the iced mango refresher for sure!! read more

The overall attitude often feels bothered or uninterested, almost like customers are an inconvenience rather than appreciated guests. The coffee itself is decent at times, inconsistent at others, but customer service is what keeps people coming back. I truly hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and focus on creating a more welcoming environment. A simple greeting, smile, and positive attitude go a long way. There are many coffee shops people can choose from, and feeling appreciated matters just as much as the product itself. I wanted to support this business, but after many visits and the same experience over and over again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly employees who were busy preparing orders. This gave me the opportunity to peruse their unique menu and settle upon a latte to order. My sweet tooth was in effect and I opted for the Tiramisu latte with oat milk and was asked if sweet was ok! I thought it was so cool how you're able to customize the drink as you please and bonus points for no charge for nondairy milk. It was very affordable at $6.85. My latte came out pretty quickly and I marveled at the cocoa powdered topping. It truly tasted like a dessert and was so rich and indulgent yet somehow I didn't feel gross after drinking it. The oat milk was creamy and perfectly frothed and the espresso was well balanced. I had a dance class that night and it gave me just the right amount of energy to make it through the class yet still manage to sleep fine that night! This coffee shop is located in walking distance from Americana which makes it a great spot to grab coffee after shopping. There is street parking available and Americana/ Glendale Galleria are another option for parking. I will be back to try different coffees , since the menu looks different than other coffee places.

We weren't the only ones confused, as another guest came in shortly after and tried to sit there as well. I just want to say that there is so much unprofessionalism with this location. I love the drinks from La La, and been to other locations. First, I noticed that they had employees pretend to be customers in what appears to be major damage control. Nate Herrera is a CURRENT lead there. Ella Sweeney works there, Anna V is a current employee. And they all pretended to be customers. That's misleading to guests, and a conflict of interest, Google Reviews are to be written by guests only, however Nate said " I've been coming here for awhile now and just want to say that" like what do you mean you work there!!! Ofc you've been going a while omg they can't even do pr right! They have to mislead guests by straight up pretending to be guests!!! Google says " Contributions to Google Maps should reflect a genuine experience at a place or business. Fake engagement is not allowed and will be removed," I think pretending to be a guests counts. It also says " Content that is based on a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest may include current employment" in support.google.com Also I find it interesting how Ella tried to come across like she's sweet at first, but I think that Afro hair man is on to something, she sounds snarky in her own review " I'll always keep it real and honest! Be careful and weary of ex employees relying on Ai to leave a review to dish their old dramas. Clearly they are an EX employee for a reason! La La Land constantly pushes kindness and good energy, and it's clear they did not have that to offer." Like she sounds judgmental, preppy and stuck up and like she's never been put in her place in her life. His post doesn't sound like Ai at all, she wouldn't even know that, she just hates him and is trying anything she can to insult him. AND NO PROFESSIONAL LEAD OR EMPLOYEE WOULD DO THAT. So it's clear Elle doesn't have much positive energy to offer but snarky judgey hateful energy I can read through a screen. I love the drinks here but can't condone a place that silences people who speak up!!! I also came in several times, I've heard them playing Sticky several times, some body named Dooechai or Doechi and heard body part names I can't repeat. I couldn't believe it lol. And I heard Jack say "better catch this p*" behind the counter and started twerking. He shakes his butt often and it makes me uncomfortable as a guest. A few months ago a girl named Mia said blue waff and I'm like ewww. This is a family friendly place. If someone brought up concerns and you guys act like this, ooof that's major EVIDENT retaliation and to pretend to be guests too. Oof. If you go in, listen to the music they may. Watch how they are on their phones the WHOLE TIME, I've even seen them watch YouTube and movies and take calls while on bar!! We ordered the Cookie & Dreams matcha latte with almond milk, the Banana Cream Top matcha latte with whole milk, and the La La Dream Toast. So excellent! Drinks were so sweet and yummy, I love the aesthetic inside the store, and I commend these employees for keeping a good energy despite what can be overwhelming volume. I used to be a barista at Joe and the juice, and I can't even imagine dealing with this volume of people nearly everyday. It's popular for a reason!!! I will say, I wouldn't come here to study or hop on a zoom call. The energy is very very lively. I believe this is the point, but with such a busy store and loud music, it's not a place to lock in and focus. Which is totally okay! Especially when Peter and Jack are working, they always make it a point to hype their team up. You can tell the baristas are having fun while maintaining the quality of each order. I visited earlier today to study and get some work done, and I was beyondddd impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. Despite the massive line, they made my La La latte in no time, and it was perfect. They even went the extra mile and brought out an adorable La La Pup bandana for my little poodle--he loves it! The café has ample seating both inside and outside, making it a great spot to enjoy your coffee, relax, or work. I was thrilled to discover they've opened this location at the Americana. I've always loved the Calabasas spot, but the distance was a bit of a trek. This new location is much closer to Burbank, so I'll definitely be coming here much more often! read more

I really love this place and I do try to get it once daily at least. But this is the only location that turns off their mobile ordering throughout the entire day almost. I don't understand if there is an option for that why is it always off? Some people have a lunch break and need to place the mobile order to make it on time. It's pretty upsetting. And I think they are understaffed because the line is always out the door and only one register is working all the time and the ordering process just always takes forever. I stood in line one time for 45 minutes and the line wasn't even out the door at that time. I wish they could manage their system better knowing they are a very popular shop. read more

9:35 am on a Sunday Line is so long (dont know why it supposed to be long cashier so slow), Terrible service, they only have one cashier, slow baristas always talking/chit chatting to each other, when they make a drink it will take them 5 mins. Employees are not serious needs TRAINING esp those making coffees! To think the coffee machines are automatic! One employee took a picture of the long line dont know why. I was at this coffee shop today when one of the workers suddenly yelled out someone's name so loudly that the entire place went silent. Everyone looked up, startled, it was so abrupt and unnecessary that people were genuinely uncomfortable. It completely disrupted the calm vibe of the café. Honestly any business in this area of Glendale has this issue but opening a coffee shop in a place you cant even park for free for 30 minutes is insane. But anyways the drinks are always mid at best, the coffee is never strong enough or just tastes like pure oat milk. We love coming to this location and shopping with our drinks. Not only is it located near the Glendale Mall but ambiance of the Americana Shopping Center makes it that much more enjoyable. The actual store is always clean, and all the workers are very friendly as soon as we walk through the doors!
