From an aesthetic point of view, this place is utterly adorable--from its storefront to its indoor ambiance. It's definitely photo worthy and the cafe doesn't skimp out on the packaging for their products (from their cups, sleeve holders, and especially their super duper cute heart-shaped straws). However, I don't think these things justify the cost of their beverages. The beverages themselves were.... meh. My husband and I got different matcha drinks (I got the strawberry and he got the one advertised to taste like fruity pebbles...), and my friend got a coffee-based drink (namesake latte). For almost $22... I can't say that the drinks were worth it at all for their price. Idk if they're stingy with the matcha, but our drinks mostly tasted like milk. (And trust me... I am a HUGE matcha fan.) I was pretty excited about this place bc it focused mostly on coffee and matcha, but it was underwhelming. It's just okay for me. I got the lavender matcha latte and requested for the matcha flavor to be strong. Even if with additional shot, it still tastes more like a drink filled with milk and sugar and some lavender but matcha is missing. Fresh new location in Glendale! What's more beautiful than their yellow interior design with chandeliers is the owner supports foster youth with jobs & training interns. This is the best thing I've heard today, money well spent!! There was a line outside but not too long-waited maybe an hour Me & my bestie got the Lala land coffee & I ordered the lala dream avocado toast to go. It tasted like truffle oil which was odd but there might have been an error with the ordering. So my friend and I came here having never tried it and were very surprised at how good everything was. From the coffee, to food choices, to their aesthetic for their coffee shop, I was genuinely happy with everything. I think the food was a definite highlight of their work. The service was amazing and very polite to everyone who was inside. The only think I don't like about the coffee shop, is the location. I do not want to do to Americana at brand every time to really just pick up coffee. Yes, you could technically park on the other side of the street where Americana is and walk over, but then you deal with a load of traffic for just coffee. So you can pick your poison. I love their location at the Grove, so I was really excited when this one opened. Just like their sister location, this one at the Americana is nice and inviting and the staff is kind and helpful. Their location is quite small, but it's super bright and cute. They have just open, so of course they are still getting the hang of things, which is absolutely normal, so I don't understand why people have to bash on them not being fast or orders taking a bit long. As for their drinks they have a great variety from coffees to teas and lemonades and honestly it does not disappoint. Their iced lavender matcha with almond milk is probably my favorite!! read more

Just dropping a note to say how much I appreciate this sweet little café. It's at the Americana, which can be pretty chaotic, but every time I go in there, it's so bright and cheery and it has such a good vibe to it, that the minute I sit down, I immediately feel better. There's so much to choose from, but I think my favorite is the mango passionfruit cooler and the M.A.K.A toast! Decided to finally try it out. First thing it is A LONG LINE it's super hyped right now because of it just opening so be aware. Once you get your order taken it goes fast the staff is young and seems to still be trying to get the hang of the crowd this establishment is bringing. It's very cute inside and I knew before coming it was overpriced LA coffee/avocado toast situation. I got a regular Lavendar matcha with almond milk and paid about $8 and some change. It was tasty but idk if I'll be back anytime soon due to the crowds. My other dilemma is that the matcha is pre mixed with water into a syrup I've worked in coffee before and I know this tarnishes the matcha "pre mixing" it. read more

Tried it for the first time as there is always a long line The line is not because they are good but because they are slowwww. I counted 8 workers, they are just chilling and talking no one is working. I waited 15 minutes in line to order when there there only 2 people ahead of me to order. And Yes I didn't tip because I value my time and this high schoolers have 0 sense of time. Waited 25 minutes for my order and this was on a Tuesday afternoon, seeing that everyone is chilling and no one is working on making any kind of drink I went to the counter and asked what happened to my order (one regular latte, nothing special) at this point one of the workers says oh I'll make your latte now and he starts making my drink. Like you were chilling for the past 30 minutes why do I have to come and ask you to make my coffee that I have paid and waited for an hour for. Don't bother coming here, starbucks/coffee bean anything in the area has similar drinks but 10x faster. As someone who absolutely loves & supports La La land kind cafe I'm devastated to even write this review. My experience at other locations has been great but not this one. Service was 0/10 Staff was far from kind. They messed up a few orders including mine- which is understandable & not a big deal given how busy & chaotic they were. However, it does not excuse rude behavior. They made me feel like an inconvenience, had an attitude and were annoyed when they were the ones to mess up. I even offered to take the wrong order so they wouldn't have to make it again. The least they could do was apologize. I walked out with the wrong order and an unpleasant experience. A few other things to note - expect to wait in line and get your drink for at least 25-30 mins. Also, one of the employees handling trash never washed their hands before hopping back in to make drinks. This location was disappointing! read more

It was my first experience at La La Land this week, and words cannot describe how much I like this cafe. First off, I was greeted when I first stepped in, and it felt warm and welcoming. When I went to the counter to order, Emmanuel was the guy who helped me (the same guy who greeted me as well). I asked for some recommendations, and he told me about the Lala latte. I'm a very picky coffee drinker and its usually difficult for me decide at new places. Emmanuel took the time to explain to me the different drinks and which are popular, and also the ones that are not that popular, but he thinks I would like them. After being so patient with me, I decided on the Lala latte and he still had a smile on his face after how long I took to decide and still made me feel like a valued customer even though there was a short line behind me. Like that's serious dedication, and it shows he actually cares about the customer and wasn't trying to rush me or get my order out of the way and call it a day. I will definitely be coming back soon to try other drinks and I hope the other employees are just as nice and welcoming as Emmanuel was. Look the workers that were on shift from 3:30pm and on today were the real MVP'S . This place has definitely went viral because I live several 100 miles from the closest La La Land Kind Cafes and made it a point to to stop by one when on the way home from traveling . They were working so so so so hard . They specifically said once you've ordered it will take 30 minutes to get your drink so please do not act shocked when it takes long to get your drink . The mean what they say so be patient or go somewhere else and this place went viral so if you're there most likely everyone else wants to be there too. I Loved my matcha ,I got the regular iced Almond milk matcha with banana cream or cream top .... Something like that. The quality was really good and this wasn't the extra matcha it was the regular one and it was strong! I'd give it a 4.5 the matcha itself needs a touch more sweetness. The customer service was good even though you could tell they were stretched thin. It's a cute place and I'd definitely go back but please give them grace.
