We stopped here for a quick bite and a drink. We split the fish tacos which were delicious. Drinks were tasty as well and service was quick and attentive. The view from the second level was amazing. Very relaxing here!
The mummy (bacon & gouda wrapped) shrimp is to die for. Staff is super polite and you can't beat the view from the upper level. Perfect lunch spot'
This is our 2nd visit to La Langosta Loca and again the food was delicious. I ordered the Cilantro Shrimp with sautéed mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Excellent choice all the way around. Service was a little slow, but you can't beat the location.
We decided to stop in because of the view on the beach but we come back because of the whole package. Food- delicious. Price- affordable. Service- attentive. Very fun.
The service was outstanding, they were very attentive but not obtrusive. The ambiance was kicked back and chilled, just what I wanted for my birthday. The food was amazing. I had the Cajon Lobster which had so much flavor that I'm still thinking about it. My spouse loved the Cilantro Lobster! I would definitely recommend La Langosta Loca.
Our meals were both delicious, tuna with blue corn tacos and chicken fajitas. My passion fruit agua Fresca had real maracuya, was divine. Second floor view was great, and lovely breeze.
If you are looking for a good view and good food this is the place to go. The weather helped a lot since the breeze was good which helped with the humidity. Service was fast. Total wait time for our food was less than 10mins. Definitely going back to try their different dishes they offer.
Came here for drinks. Got the Miami Vice drink and a Malibu ginger ale. The Malibu did not taste like Malibu and I think they used sprite instead of ginger ale but it was still good. Beautiful place on the beach.
We stopped for a margarita and a view and that's exactly what we got! The staff was thrilled to have us and the mariachi band came right to us and sang the song we requested, no questions asked. The chips and salsa were good and that marg was STRONG. Felt like we were really having the genuine Puerto experience. Stop here as you're walking by! You will not regret it.
Really nice beach setting with an amazing view and quick access to the Malecon and the flea market within the PV Romantic Zone. We were welcomed by a very nice man at the door, we had three choices of seating, down stairs indoor, upstairs terrace or on the beach, we decided on the upstairs view point and it was amazing. You could over see the ocean front and the other actives along side the beach front. Before going in on the right side of the building you have an option to sit on a swing like chair at the walk up bar, not sure how smart or safe this is but looks fun, until you fall on you face from drinking and swinging. Setting 5 stars The staff was over all friendly, other than our main server ,he was very short in his responses and a bit lacking in customer service skills. On the other hand another waiter walked right up and was extremely friendly and attentive as you would expect within a highly touristy location. Staff 4 stars because of the other amazing gentlemen. The food, I ordered the Fish tacos cooked al pastor style. Wow they were amazing, I would highly recommend them, three tacos with a side of salsa. My wife ordered deep fried fish tacos, they were ok. We also ordered the guacamole, not impressed it was very bland, no pico de Gallo, cilantro, thankfully they did serve pico as a side with another salsa that saved the day. Our food came out fairly quickly. Lots of fresh seafood options. I had a Mango margarita, it was very good. Overall I would revisit this place but I would make sure that I would hand pick our next waiter.
I think the reviews are spot on. It;s an average place. Great location the beach. We didn't wait for table. The food was fine. Lobster was small and they served frozen broccoli and veggies. I don't think we would go back but it was a nice evening. Reviews are right.
I was walking along the beach when the ol' belly alerted me that it was feeling a bit neglected when I eyeballed La Langosta Loca which had been recommended by a friend so I decided to check it out and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I was greeted and escorted to my table where I could literally plant my feet in the sand. I immediately ordered a Mango Margarita to quench my thirst whilst I waited for my Lobster Thermidor which was exceptional. La Langosta Loca wasn't offering 2 for 1 margaritas so I just had flan for dessert which was not only larger than I'm accustomed to but quite delectable
Our group of four had a great time. We stopped by for drinks and a snack while walking the Malecon. The restaurant is right on the beach, though we sat at the swing bar, which was so much fun. My michelada was quite large and was super delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. They also have a restroom, which is a huge plus when walking the Malecon. read more

The food was cold and didn't taste good. We ordered a burger, it was cold and tasted like a sloppy Joe, ribs and they were cold. Fries weren't cooked all the way and the lemonade tasted horrible. Overpriced for nasty food. The tab, they added the tip themselves even tho the receipt print says "propino no incluida" means "tips not included". The server wrote the tip in himself. read more

This place was perfect for what we wanted, good quality food at a medium price point in the beach. I had the salmon de pastor tacos, my friend had the smoked marlin tacos. We both agreed the salmon were better, and we were both quite happy with the house guacamole. Nice atmosphere, but be aware if you sit in the beach there are a TON of vendors, so maybe sit on the deck instead . read more

We love this place. Hadn't been here in 2 years and they have remodeled, and added on. It's even better now than before, even though I liked the spiral staircase. They now have beach sitting, but our favorite is the second level, overlooking the ocean. We shared the red snapper and it was fantastic!! Definitely our go to spot when we are in town. Food was bad :( even the cheeseburger my son got. The octopus tasted like grill oil to me, my ceviche was warm and slimy... And I love civeche. I didn't eat it. They still charged me. Tip was included and we didn't realize it. Service was slow. Skip this one!! read more

Prompt friendly service. We arrived around 9 pm and were greeted and served promptly. Average prices on seafood compared to us dollars. Food was 7 out of 10. I tried the seafood stuffed pinneapple and it was great in flavor just a little on the sweet side for me, catered to a more American palette for sure. We also tried The rib eye steak and was done great. We also tried The Agua Chiles here and I do not recommend them as they are made with artificial lime juice which changes the flavor completely.Tips are automatically added to tab but you may choose not to pay for it that way so watch for tip on receipt. They have indoor seating and beach seating which is aesthetically pleasing. Street vendors hang around the beach more so if you want to eat un bothered try eating inside dining. read more
This is a great location for an evening dinner watching the waves come in and seeing the city come to life at night. I splurged and ordered the lobster. The price was very reasonable compared to minnesota standards. The lobster was good, but a little dry. The salad and potatoes were fine. The true appeal of this place is the ambiance. Dinning on the beach is a true experience. The service was top rate as well. I would have giving 5 stars if the meal itself was as spectacular. read more

The service was great here but the food was okay for me. I ordered the shrimp tacos and there was too much batter for me without any cabbages. I asked for some limes for the tacos but never got any but I got crafty and used the time from my vodka soda. However, they were generous with the amount of battered shrimp they gave in each taco. It was nice to eat there and enjoy the view. If you don't mind people trying to sell you things while you're eating then this place should be fine. I'm sure the other items on the menu are great since my friend enjoyed his steak taco and frozen margarita. The guac and chips were amazing though! read more

I was here last year when people were afraid of covid, not me I traveled everywhere on the cheap n found this gem. I didn't rate it then Because I was disappointed it was nothing like a Yelper was gushing about, we paid like $30 for a very bony lobster n my husband was upset. I knew it was a one time deal n I wanted to try the snapper I didn't get to last time. I wanted to order the lobster again but it was like $37 quite expensive for a local restaurant, I ordered a red snapper at 1/2 price n it was the most delicious fish I ever had, I literally licked the plate clean. I'm a galloping gourmet n can't figure out what spice they used to marinate this in, the seafood soup was ok, a little pricey as I couldn't eat the octopus but I was glad my husband loved it. Sadly I swallowed a small bone n it got stuck in my throat, I took a nap woke up n it's still there so please be sure to be more careful than I was, it was full of bones not like the farmed ones in USA, I just ate a plate of papaya n chicharrones n it's now 3/4 down so I'm out of danger!! That taught me never again to eat the skin n licked the plate! Lol I want to go back there but I have $120 credit in my hotel so I'm stuck here. There are so many good restaurants here, PV is like home to me I go to Mexico 3 x a year! They must be doing good, the 1st floor was closed for remodeling n expansion, we were upstairs watching sunset while dining, people sat on garden chairs on the sand! I wasted my time n money all these years staying in big hotel chains Sheraton, Hilton all they gave you was fake Mexican food n exorbitant prices. By the way the drinks here were mean n cheap ! $6 my husband almost had to carry me home, he ordered beer n made drink his mojito on top of my margarita! read more

My experience here was 5/5! This is based on their Langosta Loca plate! $420 pesos is about $20 USD and that's a steal for a giant lobster, garlic bread, rice and veggies. I loved all the garlic on the lobster and I would recommend requesting melted butter on the side to dip the lobster in. DELISH so much flavor and fresh. I also LOVE the fresh fruit margaritas! I would recommend the mango strawberry one! read more
