The journey to get there is worth the experience alone. High above the city, the steep cobblestone roadway is like a carnival ride. Buckle up! The service is just OK but the view at sunset is amazing. Drinks are generous and tasty. We sang "Pretty Woman" with the band. Good thing no other guests had arrived yet! The margaritas are some of the best we've had in PV. We had their Shrimp Carousel for two, but it fed our table of four. Six shrimp prepared five different ways. My favorite was bacon-wrapped. Too windy for our favorite Flaming Mexican Coffee, so we settled for Bailey's and coffee. $3200MXP for the four of us. read more

Came to Ah Caramba with family for a last night before departing and let me tell you, this place may seem expensive but you are getting everything you pay for! We ordered the Liz and Richard and split the Chicken Caesar. I will say we each could have ordered the Liz and Richard and been fine but we were not that hungry that specific evening but coupled with the giant Chicken Caesar, it was a solid choice. Good service and food and the view was spectacular. We had the Fishmwhich is mahi mahi and it was delicious. The only reason I didn't give this review 5 starts was because they tried to take away your dish too a couple of times early and our waiter felt it necessary to count our cash we left with the bill in front of us while other tables watched. Great views of the city.! Up high on the hill above 5 di Diciembre. A bit hard to find if you don't know where to go. Look for white building with sign and white tile foyer. Saturday night date night dinner on our last night in PV and we wanted to make it special. This place absolutely delivered!! They took reservations easily for party of 2. 4 cocktails, 2 bottles of water, lobster bisque, and HUGE order of lobster and shrimp combo (def good for at least 2... maybe even 3) came out to be about $150 USD and that included tips. The food was amazing. I wished we had more people so we can order other things I wanted to try!! The view was breathtaking and perfect that if you get lucky as we did, you'll catch fireworks, as well. I'm not sure if this is every night, but there was also a mariachi band- super fun! OK we came here for a late Lunch. If you get a chance to come here only for the view then you need to. When we came in it was right before Their dinner rush. Certainly if you're coming for dinner you need to get reservations. The restaurant sits high on a hill and overlooks the entire city. We all ordered the mix fajitas. Well, I got the best service, had the best food, and the view was sick! There were two large parties waiting for their food, and I was informed that it might take a while. Ok. No problem. So, I was given a free heaping helping of guacamole and pico de gallo, both of which were excellent. The red wine portion was a stand up double. The food: 4.5 stars Service 5 stars For starters, they make you fresh salsa right at your table to your liking. Fresh ingredients at this place has us coming back for our second time in PV. The view is amazing and is worth making a reservation around 6-6:30 as that is prime time when the sun is setting.
