The restaurant was open until 9pm. We arrived about 15 mins before they were closing. We asked if we could place an order to go and the guest representative at the front counter was friendly and accommodating. One of the individuals, who was working in the kitchen, was not as friendly toward the idea. That person made it obvious that they were not really in favor of taking an order at that time. This despite that we ordered off the menu of available items (already made and not requiring kitchen service). The location was clean and our food was quickly assembled and we left and ate at our hotel, We are fans of La Madeline and they met our expectations in every way - even if the one person did have a bit of a bad attitude. Kudos to the rest of the team for keeping on going with great customer service - and I hope the kitchen attendant was just having an off day and they will be better tomorrow!

Very disappointed with the quality of food at LaMadeline Grapevine, Tx today. The bread was stale and we got 3 slices for 2 people. I was not impressed with the chicken lamadeline. Broccoli was cold and flavorless. Did not care for the rice it came with. I did not like the flavor of the mushroom sauce on the chicken. The ham and cheese sandwich was not very good. Bread was cooked so hard you'd have to have beaver teeth to cut through it. LaMadeline used to be so delicious. Lately their quality has really suffered. We will try again another day. Maybe it's just a bad day for the chef. The mango and sweet teas were really good. The strawberry rhubarb spread was great. I considered a chocolate eclair and even those did not look appetizing. Establishment was clean, silver ware and glasses were clean. Restroom was clean. You can see the attached photo how much food was left on the table and for a tab that was $34 I just expected quality food/experience.

Great service tonight. This is a favorite for my mom and I. They didn't have the fire on probably due to warmer weather but quickly got it on when we requested. Food was wonderful. Love coming here! The fire is my favorite. Don't understand all the bad reviews.

I've never wished for a 0 star option for a rating until today. La Madeline is nothing like it was. This place was dirty, food poor quality and service was lacking any type of personality or welcoming nature. I took two bites of the chicken friand and knew I was going to be sick and now I am. Food has no flavor and tasted left out and old. Such a disappointment. Will tell all the Yelp folks to skip this one!

Usual shit from this company. " Bonjour" sorry to hear about your experience, yadda yadda Go to the website fill in the form then never hear anything back. Twice they've done this to me. Clearly this company doesn't give a shit about their customer service or the state of their restaurants. Shove your " Bonjour" where the sun doesn't shine

Almond croissant warmed up. So tasty I took a bite before taking a picture.

My sister and I dropped by for dessert and warm drinks. I love their almond croissant and my sister had their coconut cake. It sure tasted good warmed up. So yummy. Great service and friendly staff.

So sad, old food, dirty restaurant. You can do better than this!

The coffee was good and baristas were friendly. I could've stayed here working all day. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Dallas. I was hoping for something savory. We got avocado toast. My husband got his with an egg; I had mine plain. He had an iced caramel latte, and I had a plain cappuccino because that's the best way for me to judge the espresso, besides ordering a straight shot. Food was okay. Did not blow me out of the water. It was decent enough to eat, but a tiny, tiny portion for the price. Somewhere around ten to eleven dollars per toast. One slice of bread, a little avocado, a couple of tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Was it tasty? Yes. Was it worth ten dollars? I don't think so. I bought a full sourdough loaf for ten dollars. I understand service costs and all that, but still. Coffee was actually very good, though. My cappuccino had fruity notes, very smooth. They have different roasts, which is nice. The cups and plates are really cute, and the space itself is charming. The lady working seemed very overwhelmed. The place was full, decently loud, line kept getting longer the whole time we were there. My husband didn't love his coffee, and he's usually not picky at all, so that says something. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. But if I needed a place to sit and do some work and didn't need to be on the phone, I'd probably consider it. I just think there are better places out there. Honest opinion. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

I've walked by and never even noticed this place, but I encourage you to enter. The store offers players pieces to paint and play in house, other related material to review, and a historical review of Warhammer. War game setups to play, which, by the way, are artistically set up so awesomely! I would have taken more pictures and videos, but it was busy, and the majority of the game stations were taken up by players. I, on the other hand, enjoyed that they had a cafe as well. I believe their coffee machine is down or something. So I opted for their "Blood for the Blood God" tea it's not too sweet and pretty refreshing for a hot, humid day. We waited to eat our cinnamon roll at home. After heating it up a bit, I enjoyed the sweet treat. It was a tad bit dry, but it was eaten. If you're a fan or just walking by, stop and check it out. They then got to play with their new figurines on the very elaborate game tables (which I have seen very packed on weekends but which were mostly open on a Wednesday afternoon). The cafe looks like a standard local coffee shop with a nice mix of coffees and pastries. Definitely a fun place to stop into and check out.

We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good. This isn't the kind of place where you rush through everything in one sitting. It's those little details that make the experience memorable. We walked out in under three minutes and spent just under $70. Was it expensive? Sure. But it felt worth it.
