The staff was courteous, fast, and came unprompted and cleared our table when we finished any food item, which is not often the case in my experience. On a Monday between 9:30a & 10a they were busy, but they were very well-staffed and moved fast without rushing anyone, and the line wasn't out the door. There's also a free covered garage right around the corner behind the location, so parking within a block or so of walking distance isn't a problem.

I do like the soups and the grilled chicken ceasar salad and the chicken salad. However, my very favorite item has been pulled from the menu. They used to make a traditional napoleon that was very very good. For a year now, the've offered a strawberry Napoleon. I don't like strawberries and I prefer that classic desserts be kept intact. I tried the teramisu tonight and it wasn't good. It was gummy and didn't have much flavor. Sadly, I'll be looking for another bakery- I really wish they hadn't messed with the napoleons. read more

If you want to be a victim of credit card and identity theft, I encourage you to visit The Plano location. Since last year, there have been over 50, I repeat over 50 wallets stolen from patrons by criminals inside that restaurant that prey on non suspecting patrons. The management has refused to set up security cameras and have seemed not to care. My mother was the recent victim. Obviously La Madeleine is more interested in profits than the well being of its customers. read more

Having just had a wonderful meal here I felt inspired to let the world know about it. I had a delicious wild green chicken salad. Dressing was perfectly tart over a generous bed of greens. The staff was really friendly and made me feel very welcome. They also made the food really fast, which is good because I was really hungry!
