I started with a petite cesear saldad - freshly made while I watched and great tasting, with a nice parmesean cheese garnish. I got a pesto pasta baked dish with chicken that was very flavorful. It came with a small baguette. Hubby got a bowl of potato soup garnished with cheese and bacon. We both enjoy their self serve bread bar with butter and condiments. I hadn't been to La Madeleine in over 20 years so I thought I'd stop in for lunch for nostalgia sake. They no longer serve the Mediterranean salad which was my go to so I did the combo tomato soup, fruit, and 1/2 quiche. The bread bin was almost empty but I got a tasty piece of multigrain. Service was perfect, food was good and value decent. The dining room felt a bit neglected, ceiling tiles were water damaged and it was all a bit dingy and needs a refresh. The cafeteria line moved slow, wish there were more grab and go type menu options. No room for dessert today but I think I'll be back. read more

Some delicious treats and pastries! I've been to this La Madeleine a number of times and always have a lovely experience. The staff members are always on top of orders no matter how packed the restaurant is, the dining area kept clean and the self serve area well stocked, and I find myself satisfied with everything I've ordered from dining in to take out. If you're unsure of what to try, I highly recommend the Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Friand, Lemon Tarte, and Strawberries Romanoff. They're a few of my go- to's! I've probably had almost item on the menu and I'm NEVER disappointed. I could eat the mushroom sauce on almost every entree--it's so delicious and savory. The employees are always so nice and welcoming and even when there's a line out the door, you don't wait very long. After your meal, Mae sure you order some pastries to take home. It was pouring rain while I was out and about. To wait for the rain to pass I stopped by this cute little French café in the shopping center/area I was at. I decided to go in and have a light lunch with my daughter while the rain passed. A very kind gentleman that works there was so sweet and helped me with my order since my hands were full with baby bag, carrying baby, and umbrella. There are no servers so you order, get a tray (for drinks and pastries) , a number and they bring the rest of your order once you pick a seat. I ordered a caramel macchiato and a yogurt parfait as well as the "croffle" Monte cristo. Hands down the most delicious and unique Monte cristo I've ever had. The "Croffle" is a light and buttery croissant waffle and inside it has a thin slice of turkey and Swiss cheese! The perfect proportion and all sealed so it's not messy to eat! That alone gets 5 stars! However, the service was above par too! 10 stars for service! I truly did feel like I was back in Paris :( I think it's time to plan another trip! In the meantime this is my favorite French café! I enjoyed every bite of food and this whole experience! Can't wait to have a date here with my hubby. Ambiance is casual and cozy! Kids were next door at Orange Leaf. Stopped and window shopped deserts. Friendly front counter service explained the various deserts. Picked up cheesecake, chocolate cake, and coconut cake. Came by mid-morning to purchase this deal that started today: "Get a Streaming Soirée Box: a free 6pk of macarons with any purchase for one week from premier between 12/18/25-12/24/25 via app, dine-in or to-go." ‍ I tried several times to place an order online & on the app, trying to apply a reward but it wasn't available so I called the store. The clerk walked me thru it but it still wasn't going thru. She offered to help me if I had anymore issues & called back. The next clerk said they heard it wasn't working so they'd honor it if I came to the store. Thankful for their assistance, esp. on a busy morning, pre-lunchtime! I ended up getting a Chocolate covered Croissant with a Latte which was also a special Rewards Member deal. I couldn't get Oatmilk or Soymilk in the Latte as it would raise the price. Just a note. New to this place and me n the o'lady really enjoyed it! We went early n pastries filled to brim and everything looks great!!!! Some bfast items were new to us, but tasted very good to us. O'lady had the quiche Florentin and I had the French toast, eggs n bacon. Also ordered the potatoe galette or something like that, that was NEW to us and it was delighted good. We left with some pastries n will leave commen about those on our next trip. Believe me WE are coming back. The staff is awesome, my compliments to staff and chef's!! This beautiful place is such a great experience everytime I've been. I walked in to smiling faces just before the lunch rush and felt very welcome. This place can get packed so I'm glad I came early. I ended up going with the build your own omlette. I ordered it with spinach, bacon and mushroom and it was heavenly. Normally I put salsa, but this one didn't need anything added for flavor since it was perfect! I picked a spot near the crackling fireplace they had going. It was so cozy and warm on a chilly day. I had trouble leaving that peaceful spot. So after I finished I ordered a mocha latte while I read a bit. The latte and the flaky croissant that came with my omlette were a scrumptious pair. They have a whole area dedicated to all types of lattes, cappuccinos and espressos for us coffee snobs. What a difference since I have been there. I got the French Dip. Tasted horrible and could not eat it. It had a horseradish sauce which tasted old. I got 30 plus dollars on pastries. Neapolitan's was overly sweet and should have custard in it layered. It had an off flavor and no custard. All the pastries were horrible. I guess they lowered their product standards. I had a side salad and it was very small. The beef in my French dip was maybe 3 slices....overall I don't think I will go back. So sad..... read more

The food is delicious. On a few different visits, we've tried the desserts, sandwiches, coffee and French onion soup - all were delicious. Everyone working there has been helpful and kind. I am sorry to have to score this place very low. I always come to this place every time I come in from NJ. I walked in and noticed right away how dirty the place looked, The cook had a beard, and nothing over his hair or beard, and he was cooking. The counter looked dirty. There was not a lot of help. When my food arrived, it was cold. The crepe should at least be lukewarm The glass for ice tea was wet and not dried. It was a very bad experience. The soups were just ok- nothing fancy, but tasty and warm. We had ordered a French onion soup but it looked too thin, so my friend changed it for the tomato bisque. I had the créeme of mushroom and it was not as hot as I would've liked and a bit salty/oniony, so just average ok. The quiche was huge! I had the Florentine, easily can feed 2, so now I'm taking more than half to go! We also ordered the tomato bisque soup and my friend said it was delicious. Dined in around 9AM on a Sunday morning - what a glorious day! The weather was absolutely beautiful and La Madeleine's aroma of fresh grounded coffee was just perfect! COVID-19 precautions were more strictly in place so my party and I were seated away from others. Tables were closed off with signs that said "Table closed" and "6 Feet Apart Please". Utensils are individually wrapped and sealed - I really appreciated the extra precaution! Masks are required! Food was delicious! Their curbside service needs significant work. Tried to call their curbside number after parking and noticed a line out front. If turns out that curbside is overwhelming their staff. I came here for lunch last week and then dinner last night. The lunch experience was terrible, while the dinner was good/normal. I guess it was very busy during lunch last week because no tables were available and we were asked to wait in line, unable to order because they ran out of seating. We were told that they would look around for an available table and then take our orders as people left the table. After ordering I went to sit down and noticed at least three tables with dirty dishes in them, uncleared and the line still out the door. So, I basically waited for staff to have time to clear tables (and this was a good 10-15 minutes wait). I do admit that I am not the most patient person, and I possibly am less patient when it's a restaurant/cafeteria style out of space and the staff is not very courteous about the reason for the wait. They actually didn't explain the wait to people in the back of the line so many of them just left or were openly discussing the issue -- but without know why. When I ordered, the food was not the best as it looks like they may have been flustered by the crowd. Ordered a salad with bacon and it was filled mostly with bacon so it tasted like leaves and bacon -- I love bacon, but the ratio was just terribly off. Dinner was better, the food and service were good and at reasonable prices. I recommend you get the app because you can get lots of freebies and coupons. read more
