First time i go with friends to visit its very popular withing our other friends for being a girly spot to visit. I got the red chilaquiles with carne asada they were very good reminds me of home food. The waiters here are very friendly and very helpful sonce we didnt know the menu she recommended us the moyetes with beans and chorizo that was also very delicious. The ambiance was my favorite and the decoration they have was very cute and hispanic. Will be having coffee and breakfast here with my girls more often. The coffee was also what makes me want to go back soon that mexian cafe de oya

So happy I found this spot. In the morning I was running errands in national city. Came here and the churro French toast caught my eye. I got that to star things off with their house coffee ! The chilaquiles with the poblano is amazing ! Se of the best chilaquiles I've ever had: me and my buddy also shared the BLTA sandwich and it was so good ! And my buddy got something I have never seen, a Birria omelette. I had a piece and it was so flavorful! Definitely coming back here ! Restaurant was clean and staff was supper helpful which is always a plus !

Now this is what I'm talking about. Delicious food with great portions. The customer service is outstanding. The restaurant is small but it' has beautiful art/ pictures and decor. Great job.

I do not recommend this place at all. The place itself is not very clean. They need to keep forks and spoons clean. Service is extremely slow. And food we didn't even get to that . The only thing we were able to get were coffees and they were so bad!!! I ordered the mazapán one and I didn't like it at all.

Great food, ambience and service! We were a large party and our food came out fast and hot. Awesome photo opportunities .

Cute spot, waitresses were nice, and courteous. The food was similar to what you would get at Cocina 35 along with the price. The beans had a different taste to them, not necessarily a casero taste. Perhaps they added a spice or something else. Not bad, just not what I expected when eating beans. Overall a cute place decor is cute, Freda Kahlo, Loteria, plants and colorful. The back patio was nice. Plenty of off street parking. Not what I expected in that location.

This place is a hidden gem in San Diego. My friends took me here for a late breakfast and they food is delicious. They are known for their chilaquiles and have plenty several choices of sauces. I didn't try the chilaquiles but will get them next time. I had the mollete with chorizo. That was absolutely delicious. The portion size was great. They have horchata and they give it to you in a big glass. They have great service and the staff is friendly. It's great place to eat with friends and family. I will definitely eat at this place again when visiting San Diego.

Outside, there was a band/dj combination playing 90's music from all genres, and a nice fun crown outside dancing. The weather was nice so I could sit inside and enjoy the music. I am not a big burger person but this place def topped the scales in a positive way! Their burger was amazing! The sweet potato fries were a little overdone (dark) but not burnt so I didn't have to return them. But the star of the show was their version of an espresso martini, but made with tequila. GAME CHANGER! SO SMOOOTH! I was disappointed they had run out of the cornbread. I am only in town for a few more days so I came back tonight for one last espresso and to see if they had cornbread, which they did. Huge portion, delicious flavor and honey butter adds another layer of deliciousness! Worth it. Laid back atmosphere tonight. Large space, lots of room, friendly staff both visits. Def worth a trip. And good parking! Which is worth the drive, if you know anything about San Diego.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE Our…read morefamily of 14 recently visited Aunt Emma's Pancakes for what was supposed to be a nice family gathering. Instead, we left deeply hurt and in tears because of the way my 5-year-old son, who is highly autistic and non-communicative, was treated. My son was not disturbing other customers. He was simply walking next to our table because he was watching his shadow. Despite this, the store manager and 3 different waitress confronted me and told me to "handle my son or they will." As a parent, I found that statement extremely threatening, insulting, and completely unacceptable. There was no attempt to understand my son or his disability, and the way this situation was handled left my entire family devastated. I understand that restaurants have rules and expectations, but there is a respectful and compassionate way to address situations involving a child with autism. Threatening a parent and making them feel unwelcome because of their child is not that way. Customers beware. If you are looking for a place where families--including families with children with disabilities--are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, I strongly encourage you to think twice before visiting Aunt Emma's Pancakes. Not once did I get an apology from any of the waitresses or the manager!

As far as the food, everything the table had was tasty and compelling. I had the Jalisco tamales Benedict with the house salsa, flavorful and filling. The potatoes were yummy. My only critique is that our lattes were somewhat cooled off by the time they hit our table. Personally, first thing in the morning I like a nice hot latte that I can hold onto. Otherwise the meal was satisfying and the atmosphere was inviting and friendly. Would recommend for a solid breakfast in Chula Vista, shoutout Charlie for his service!

Farmer's Table should not be the name of this place at all. I visited this restaurant on a Friday…read morefor a quick brunch and I personally would never recommend this place. This restaurant claims "Farm to Fork," but the menu is a long way from real farm food. I was expecting classic dishes like fresh eggs, juicy bacon, and biscuits with gravy, given the farm-inspired theme. Instead, it felt more like a Mexican restaurant with menu choices offered. We ordered French toast, with a side of bacon and eggs. I also ordered a horchata latte. The eggs were clearly powdered and cold, and the bacon was so overcooked and hard it nearly broke my braces. Even the coffee was more like flavored milk. The service was pretty average, especially given the initial impression of the place. It looks really nice when you first walk in, but once you're seated, you start noticing camera flashes everywhere. I was there for a meal, not to be an accidental photo extra. Having a photographer constantly circling felt more like a push for profit than a way to enhance the dining experience. I think management really needs to re-evaluate the message and experience they're putting out there. If they're going to keep a photographer, they should at least set up a designated area for people who actually want to be in photos. The menu needs a complete overhaul to truly reflect traditional farm food, and the ingredients should actually be farm-fresh. For what I paid for two French toasts, two bacons (which we didn't even touch), and one order of eggs, I honestly feel completely ripped off. So, if you're hoping for a relaxed, farm-fresh meal, this isn't it. Your own home cooking would honestly be better than what we got. *PSA: I have no choice but to give one star even though I would say none.
