Went on a Sunday with extended family for a 2:00pm reservation. The private parking lot was completely full so we had to park down the hill to the businesses next to it. When my brother-in-law checked in, he was told that they couldn't find the reservation so we had to wait over half an hour to get seated. They ended up seating our party on the patio. It was nice dining al fresco. We started with their chips and salsa which was really good and a pitcher of margaritas. Service was really good. We ordered various dishes to try like the Seafood Burrito, Burrito Ranchero, Camarones, etc. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Wanted a new place and this one showed up, so off we went. One of my friends said we had reservations which was good as the parking lot was 100% full - good sign of things to come I hoped. When we got to the front entrance the last said they don't take reservations but we were seated immediately none the less. Odd but okay. Service was fine and the place was truly hopping. I had the tacos el patron and they' were 9 out of 10 fantastic my friend had an enchilada dish with some type of cream sauce. Also very good. The food took about 20. Inures to come out which seemed a bit long but it was fine as we were in no rush. We will be back for sure and it was good to find another great Mexican restaurant.

Stop by midweek at noon to celebrated my mom's birthday at Murrieta's in Bonita. Parking: Had to circle around and around for about 10 mins before a spot opened up. Food: I ordered chicken enchiladas with mole sauce and was disappointed. The mole had a nice think consistency, but both the mole and chicken lacked flavor. I sprinkled salt and pepper hoping to revive the flavor but it didn't work. The rice and beans were much better and had great. Service/dessert: Service started out ok, but was almost nonexistent after our food arrived. was ok, kinda slow up until we got our food, and pretty much nonexistent after we got our food. We had to flag a server down to take our dessert order, get spoon, and get our check. We ordered ice cream with churros and fried ice cream. Both were underwhelming small portions, but the vanilla ice cream was delicious. The highlight of the meals was my mom's garlic shrimp plate -it looked and tasted amazing. It made me want to go home and cook some up for myself. Overall, this visit missed the mark.

I had been craving some enchiladas and wanted that for dinner tonight, I didn't want to drive too far and I'd been to this restaurant before so we decided to have dinner here, close to our home. My husband and I were so excited to have Mexican food and we were glad the place wasn't busy at all, maybe because it's a Tuesday. They sat us right away, we had the perfect booth in an area all to ourselves and although they were celebrating birthdays and had big groups of people it was still quiet enough to enjoy ourselves and our dinner. They brought us chips and salsa right away. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and they came almost immediately after, which was great! We weren't too happy with the appetizer platter, they call it their sample plate, it came with 2 flautas and 2 rolled tacos cut in half, so one flauta and one rolled taco per person plus one small quesadilla cut in 4 pieces and some chips with very little cheese and some sord of enchilada sauce over them that did not look like "nachos" to me at all, a spoonful of sour cream and one of guacamole. We were looking forward to our main entree at this point but boy were we dissatisfied, I ordered the chicken enchiladas suizas and it comes with a little bit of rice and some plain corn. He ordered the mole enchiladas with beans and rice. We both did not like our food at all, both dishes were lacking flavor, both enchiladas had the exact same flavorless chicken inside with onions and pieces of bell pepper and the green sauce for the suizas had absolutely no seasoning at all. The mole ones were sweet but not good. I was shocked because most Mexican style restaurants usually season their food well. Honestly we both couldn't finish our food, we just left it which has never happened to us personally before. I am not the type of person to ever complain at a restaurant and change my food etc so we just decided to not say anything. The staff was really nice and service was fast and all but the food was disappointing.

We came here to attend a birthday party celebration of my friend. The best Mexican restaurant in our area. The ambiance is so cool and welcoming. We often go here; but, it's only now that I have the opportunity to give a high 5stars. The food always comes out great and delicious. The Cadillac margaritas with Tajin is my bff favorite and I love my Cadillac with regular salt in it. It's a great place to watch sports games as well. Their staff are polite and friendly. I recommend this place for a great authentic Mexican food. Oh their chips and salsa are so good. Love their interior design.

Reserved a table for dinner a day before mom's birthday & when we came they seated us right away. The food we ordered was delicious. The host & servers were great. The music by the guitarist was wonderful. My mom was delighted with the greetings, serenade & dessert!

Came for #CelebrationOfLife and the service was greatly improved since my last visit. Staff were friendly and quick in refilling drinks, chips and salsa. I was toward the end of the buffet line but the food was plentiful and had servers which is more efficient and sanitary. They didn't hesitate if you wanted double of an entree. Classic rice, beans, enchiladas, quesadillas and crispy tacos. Each table had shared desserts of churros, brownie, cheesecake with two bowls of ice cream. Perfect for our table as not everyone can eat dairy nor wanted a whole piece of dessert. Size of churros made that dessert popular. Well done! Was happy to tip our server

We had a good time here celebrating my older sister's birthday. We sat on the patio for our large party of twenty guests. We had a reservation and the employees were very accommodating when we arrived. Everyone, for the most part, were very happy with their food. Standard chips, hot carrots and onions, and hot sauces were available at the large table. For my meal, I ordered the albondigas soup with rice & beans, not to mention corn tortillas for $16 and some change. Albondigas is essentially a meatball soup with vegetables. The soup was good and came with some good sized meatballs with rice mixed inside them. The carrots and peppers in the soup were tender. The soup had a good flavor, but it was a little heavy on the salty side. The very warm corn tortillas were perfect for dunking in the soup or for making little tacos with the meatballs. I enjoyed the soup with an iced cold Model Especial. I was very happy that they served the beer in a super chilled glass mug. The service was very good. Gabby and Valeria were both great. I don't remember the name of one of the young men who took the orders but he was very patient and friendly. Gabby was awesome with replacing water and bringing extra napkins when she deemed necessary. My brother in law tipped one of the singers to stay for a while to play his guitar and sing for quite a while. The next thing I knew, my sister, cousins, and her friends were all up dancing. This Murrieta's is quite large. It can accommodate a lot of people and large groups. All the food that was delivered to the tables looked great.

Enchilada en mole was a big plate with chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans. The Guacamole dip was delicious and tasted very fresh and tasty. Chile Relleno was 'sabroso' (delicious). Combo plate and other dishes in our party were plentiful and also something to "come back for".

Amazing food and good service. This place is always crowded and for good reasons. One of the best Mexican restaurants in town.

Ceviche Del Mer 20 for this baby bowl not worth it again never going back again

$20 for this plate. The ceviche bowl I got last week was much bigger for the same price. When I asked about the smaller portion, I was told the manager decided that's the size for this week. Disappointing inconsistency."

I discovered this Bonita hidden gem thanks to an Instagram ad. My family and I came here on a Wednesday and night. It was not busy at all. We were seated right away. After ordering our food, we were given chips, two different salsas and pickled carrots and jalapeños. My husband and I got margaritas. The mango margarita had sooo much chamoy. I loved it. For our main dish, we ordered enchiladas. I got chicken enchiladas with a green sauce and oh my gosh it was so good. Each bite had so much flavor. My husband got the chipotle enchiladas. It was so great but since he is sensitive to spice, it was pretty spicy to him. It had so much flavor though! They do have a cute kids menu. My daughter got the beef flautas with beans and rice. She enjoyed it. We love the homey welcoming feel to the place. It's almost like eating a delicious home cooked meal at your grandparents house. Haha, super comforting and inviting. We're already looking forward to coming back.

We got there around 9:20pm & instead of being welcomed, the first thing we were told was that they actually close at 10 cuz it was "slow." That was already frustrating cuz if their hours were updated correctly, we wouldn't have wasted the drive. We left to look for other options next door, but since everything else was closed, we came back literally 3 mins later. From that point on, it was obvious the server was annoyed we came back. The service was disappointing from start to finish. She barely checked on us, never came back to ask how the food was, and my boyfriend had to wave her down just to get a refill. It felt like we were inconveniencing them the entire time. To top it off, when we asked if we could get churros to go since they seemed in a rush to close, we were told no. Even drinks and certain menu items were apparently limited cuz they were trying to shut down early. SMH. The food was okay at best, but the service and overall experience completely ruined it. If your business says you're open until 12, honor those hours or update them. Customers shouldn't feel unwelcome for showing up during your posted business hours. Being slow isn't an excuse for bad service. If customers walking in during POSTED business hours feels like an inconvenience, maybe the hospitality industry isn't the right fit. We won't be coming back at all.

So I don't go as often as I used to as the location on Birch is quite a drive. But Friday the 20th my wife and I decided to make the drive because we had a rare day off together and I was craving. We were seated quickly and the staff was friendly. GG was our server and I asked her about the shrimp burrito in ranchero sauce because I didn't see it on the menu to which I was given the very sad news that they no longer served it. I'm a creature of habit, and I've been coming to this chain since my early 20s and I always get that burrito with rice and beans. Once getting that news I had to actually look at the menu and find something else. I ordered tha carne asada plate and my wife had the Green enchiladas. I also ordered the ceviche tostada. I was a little worried the carne asada might be thin and dry but it was actually a nice thickness and super tender. I had a bite of the enchiladas too, also really good. The location appears to be a repurposed building that probably served as another type of eatery in the past. I'd guess the building dates back to at least the 80s. It is a small building that has booths and regular tables inside with a counter for ordering. Outdated interior that could use some updating. The faint smell inside reminded me of roach spray. The prices are more reasonable than other Mexican/Taqueria places and I liked that you can order plates that include a bit of guacamole and beans instead of having to order these as side dishes. There is no self serve salsa bar though. I got the carne asada plate that came with a generous portion of meat, along with rice, beans, guacamole, a few tortilla chips, a bit of grated cheese, choice of tortilla, 1/2 a lime, and a bit of red hot sauce and green medium hot sauce. The portion size was perfect and better than most places. Taste was overall good, however, I found the meat to taste a bit too salty and some of the meat was too dry from cooking to eat. I have had better carne asada elsewhere, however, these days it is hard to find so the carne asada here is better than the average these days. I recommend Graciela's if you are in the area for a cheap, quick meal. Lots of parking in a big free lot shared with other businesses.
