This is what the food looked like after I got home all thrown together like garbage!!!

Food was thrown all together like garbage when I got home after I unwrapped the tamale it was small the green chili tamale was way too sweet full of sugar tasted nasty made me want to vomit, beans were undercooked & bland tasting & all the items there for sale had processed oil in them they didn't look healthy at all plus young girl working there had a rude little attitude problem wasn't the brightest bulb in the place nope won't be back!!!

The title of this place peaked my interest, as I'm a BIG fan of homemade tortillas! We walked in and the first impression I got was an unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe. I said, "Hello" twice before the lady (owner) acknowledged and finally smiled. After asking if this was our first time there and we said, "Yes," she loosened up and started talking to us. My husband and I shared a "nacho" plate with their red beef and one recommended chicken quesadilla. They have drinks, but just Kirkland brand bottled water, and cans of sodas. No ice or cups. Our meals came out fairly quickly and the girl who delivered them was friendly. Sadly, our nachos were bland. The tortilla chips lacked flavor and salt. The red beef and beans also needed a sprinkle of flavor. The chicken quesadilla was the most flavorful on our table. Their "salsa" is just roughly chopped tomatoes and green onions. The tortillas that made up our quesadilla was ok. With friendlier service, and a bit of flavoring, I could rank this place higher. I was disappointed, especially because when I read some reviews, they didn't match our experience at all.

I'm from Arizona and missed fresh tortillas dearly. My friend ordered me a few dozens on a Saturday and they were shipped to Tampa by Tuesday. The best mail ivd ever had! Tortillas were still nice and fresh and taste great even after being frozen and thawed out. Highly recommend for the out of towers that miss homemade tortillas!

We're visiting from California and have enjoyed these tortillas at family gatherings when they go visit us. So we are delighted to pick up a stash to take home and enjoy. The lady who helped us gave us great service and recommended her favorite even. Which is the tiny flour ones that were still warm from the grill. Will surely come back when we visit Tucson again.

Omgggg, delicious tortillas. Can't speak for the tamales but I've heard they're wonderful. Fresh baked, packed with flavor tortillas, and a fun variety. They had jalapeño, wheat, and flour tortillas still warm! Service was good. Cash is preferred because they charge a servicing fee for card.

Amazing, still warm Tortillas. Heading back to Ohio!!!

They are very fresh and only $4 a dozen on the medium size. The cashier looked p.o. and inconvienced so that's why I took a star off.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, and she made our whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The hosts were kind too. There was plenty of seating, a dedicated bar, TVs, and nice lighting. The patio has misters, which is perfect for this time of year. They offer booth and table seating, and the tables aren't packed too close together. With party members who have different mobility challenges, the spacing was great and made everything comfortable. The food was delicious. The complimentary bottomless chips and salsa were fresh and generous. If you order the horchata, it comes with free refills too, which is such a nice touch. My husband ordered 2 birria tacos with caldo and loved them. My father in law ordered 2 ground beef enchiladas with red sauce, and my mother in law ordered 2 plain ground beef tacos. I shared the ceviche with my dad, which was fresh and flavorful, and we each ordered one Quesabirria. It was so good! Dessert was perfect. We tried the flan and the chocolate flan. The chocolate flan was a moist Bundt-style chocolate cake with flan on top. Both were creamy, delicious, and enjoyed by all of us. Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
