Another Salvadoran cuisine yet to try. This place was a Yelp suggestion so now here I am with hubby having lunch! At the center are 4 Light blue formica top finish tables which are cool to the eyes. Tables have 4 Rustic looking wooden chairs adding that comfort feeling of being at home ! There are 8 booths seating for 4 against the walls!!! Busy day today Sunday with a lot of pick ups and diners! Order taker was friendly and made sure to ask me if I needed anything else! As soon as we got seated noticed Line was non stop as well as while we were dining! Ordered pupusas with chicken /cheese filling for hubby and I had the pork with cheese , was deliciously seasoned. My griddle cake kinda was a little undercooked or overcooked that was difficult for me to cut a piece since bottom flatbread was tough while inside dough was mushy!! Included with our pupusas is a small bowl of Curtido, a Salvadoran slaw made of fermented cabbage relish which is like to Korean's kimchi, the German's sauerkraut, coleslaw to the Dutch and the Haitian's pikliz!! Nice to know! I can't leave without having fried plantain with crema. But I prefer with sugar or condensed milk !!! Yes sweet on sweet for me !!! What can I say? I always come and get Pupusas from here. Chicharrón and cheese are fire. Just wish we had a little bit more chicharrón, and Cheese and I also get the Rocco Cheese. We got a jalapeño Cheese. Any order of plátanos en Everything Was Amazing on Point. Customer service is great. And I love the atmosphere. Casual at home ambience. Good service. Place clean and organized. Spacious seating arrangement. Maximum occupancy for 49 people. Easy access from parking with HC spaces right in front of storefront. First time customers. Love pupusas and have tried different places. Their chicken and pork pupusas are both good and I liked them but did not hit the top spot on my ranking. Corn tamal was delicious. Masa was so smooth and not your regular grainy texture. Chicken had good green chile flavor but a little on dry side. A little help of pickled cabbage (Curtido) and crema from plantain banana made the pupusas more enjoyable. Plantain banana by itself to me is better than with the crema. Place got busy and full when our order came. Overall, the 20 min +~ wait (it's not fast food) is still worth it. Would like to come back again and try others on their menu. read more

My husband wanted to take me out for my birthday and we decided to come here. Best decision ever. The frijoles con queso popusa was delicious. I also ordered the platanos which were delicious, they tasted very fresh and were the best I've ever had. I strongly recommend this restaurant. I also recommend you call in advance for your order because as they have posted they are not fast food. They make everything fresh and your order can take up to 45 minutes or more. Bomb pupusas it's my go too! I like placing a phone order in because it does that time to get your food but like their signs say this is not a fast food restaurant. I get take out most of the time. Never disappoints. Bring your physical card or cash because often the tap doesn't process payment and I have had to go get cash in order to pay for my food. read more

We had not been here in years because the customer service has always been bad, but our usual spot was closed, so we made the mistake of giving this place another chance. Nothing has changed. We ordered 12 pupusas and were given only 16 ounces of tomato sauce and one bag of curtido. When we asked for more, the woman helping us was incredibly rude and acted like we were asking for something unreasonable. She reluctantly gave us only 4 more ounces of sauce. To avoid dealing with her attitude any further, we ended up paying for extra curtido and salsa. The curtido was also ridiculously spicy and basically inedible for children. We eat spicy food regularly, but we have never had curtido this spicy. It was so spicy that it ruined the meal for the kids and made the already poor experience even worse. It is honestly embarrassing that a restaurant would let something as inexpensive and basic as curtido and salsa be the reason customers walk away upset. If you are selling pupusas, providing a reasonable amount of salsa and curtido should not be treated like some luxury request. We rarely eat out because everything is expensive right now, but it was my mother in law's birthday, so we decided to get takeout for the family. We instantly regretted spending our hard earned money here. The food was not worth the poor service, the stingy portions, or the attitude. This place clearly does not value its customers or understand basic hospitality. Take your business somewhere else. read more

We've been having to drive down to the area for Doctors appointments and we keep choosing different pupusa locations. Most have been just ok. La Molienda really stands out from all the other spots we've tried. The pupusas and so delicious!! We tried revueltas, frijol con queso and queso con loroco. We were so satisfied. Not only are they authentic tasting they're also just the right size. They I usually have to eat 2 at other locations but here I was full with just one. This is just what everyone's pupusas should be like. You have a choice between spicy or non spicy salsa and the curtido is also just right. We called ahead and ordered to go so I can't speak on the ambiance or the sit down service. But as far as take out goes it was great service. They were hot, well packed and they even gave us paper plates to use where ever we ate. The only way that they can improve them is by making the outside a bit less greasy. Located in a strip mall with multiple businesses, including Pep Boys. Delicious! Prices were a little high for their pupusas...starts at $4 and goes up to $5 each, depending on what flavor you order. We ordered bean, cheese, jalapeño pupusas. This is our go-to of what we order anytime we try a new pupuseria. Everything was made fresh to order. The pupusas took about 15 minutes to make and we waited inside, which was clean and organized. You could also see into the kitchen, which also looked clean. The food came out piping hot and the pupusas were huge. They were placed on paper plates according to flavor and the flavor was written on the outside of the foil covering the plates. This is appreciated, because some places will have you guessing what is in each pupusa. The beans weren't dry, they were smooth and velvety. There was a good amount of white cheese in every bite and the jalapeños were sliced fresh jalapeños. It was so good. The curtido was fresh, crisp, and had just the right amount of pickling...not too much, not too little. They give you two different sauces...the mild is their tomato salsa which has great flavor. Then they have a medium spicy salsa which has a great kick and great flavor. Overall, the pupusas were to die for. I will definitely come here again when I'm craving pupusas. Been here quite a few times. Been coming here since before they moved to this location. The pupusas are the best. The location is small but there were several families eating at the restaurant. The pupusas are cooked to order so the wait time is about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on what you ordered and party size. I came here on Sunday around 2pm with a party of 6. It took about 35 minutes for the pupusas to be ready. A server brought us out the food. It got busier after that. Long line to order and I'm assuming the cooks were backed up because they were not answering any phone calls at the time. You can always call in for orders. I saw a pile of orders ready for pickup. Food came out fresh and hot. The pupusas are big for $4. You can definitely get full with one. The curtido (cabbage topping) is delicious. One of the few places I know that make it good. And they did it within 30 minutes I asked for plates and forks and they gave me some. They are so nice. It seems like it's always busy here but everything is so fresh and good. This is my go to papusa place as it's close to work and delicious. Their papusas are great size and filling. I've had their chorizo and cheese, revueltas, chicken and cheese, and Asada papusas. They were delicious. And they are served with this great spicy slaw. Pros: decently priced, filling, nice fresh tasting spicy slaw if you prefer heat, and adequately crispy with ample filling. Cons: have to wait a long time so please make sure you call ahead, up charge for extra slaw, some of the filling could use a little more seasoning, and be a little less greasy but again, all personal preference. The pupusas here are delicious! The staff is very nice and friendly. My only complaint is that there is a small fee to pay with card (which everyone does nowadays) but the size of the pupusas are perfect.
