Most definitely authentic if that is what you are in search for. Food tasted delicious and was freshly made on the spot when you order. Portions are not small what so ever, so bring an appetite. They have a few different options for their pupusas that you might not normally see in other places. Only negative things I can say about it are that place is small, so you most likely won't be eating in. The wait can get long due to everything being made fresh (which is a positive), but tends to add up if there are orders ahead of you. Also for anyone going here who does not speak Spanish, you might have a hard time ordering. Lastly the staff there are not that hospitable. Older ladies who cook very well, but can come off a little rude at times. We just moved to Fontana a year and half ago and there are not a lot of Salvadorean restaurants here, and the ones that are here are horrible. I can't tell you how many pupusas I tried and was disappointed every time. This place is small, maybe seating for 5 people inside and outside seating for maybe 10. But let me tell you, it will be worth it. The pupusas are big and the Curtido is very good. Before Going I went on yelp and read the reviews and my cousin told me about this place so I had to make sure. I recommend calling in, but be patient, phone is always busy. Food here is amazing, but expect a long wait. Food is also reasonably priced.. Not fast food by any means and they have a sign telling you exactly that. And if you're expecting a friendly and warm staff, go somewhere else! So, if you order and tell you 35 minutes, give then 45-50. I call ahead and give them extra time. But what you get for your patience far exceeded my expectations! They have some of the most amazing pupusas I've ever had in my life! They deliciousness makes you forget how long of a wait you had to endure and you don't really mind that your are just another dollar to the staff! This is a 3.8. Pupusas are fairly large about 6 inch wide. Grest flavor and texture. The curtido is not as sharp/ vinegary as I would have liked it. The red salsa is good but not great, 3.4 at best. Over all I will probably come back. Expect a long 20-25 min wait during there busy hours. read more

Amo pupusas! My favorite place is in Pomona, but these are the best I've found around in our area. They're big and they're pretty good. I've only had the revueltas but they're great. The ladies are very attentive here and not super late on making the food which you see often in pupuserias. First time trying a pupuseria in Rialto and I found this place on Foothill. It's so easy to miss if you're not driving super slow. I ordered 2 mixed ones with rice and beans. The employee informed me it would take about 25 mins but it actually took about 15. It's not fast food, it's an art. Drove back to my job with the take out and I realized the employees forgot the curtido. I didn't have time to rush back for it. I've never had to ask for curtido at other places I've gone to. I ate half of a pupusa at lunch and brought it home. I wanted to love it too. Kimchi works as a substitute for curtido. I'll stick to the 2 pupuseria near home for my cravings next time. read more

My coworker brings us pupusas from here all the time. I love them! The masa to filling ratio is perfect! I like that they are not TOO thick and they are no really greasy like other places. They are huge, so usually 1 or half of one with all the toppings is enough for me. The whole pupusa is really flavorful, usually I pick off the outer edges from other places because the masa is dry and flavorless, but these are delicious all throughout. I love their purple cabbage curtido too, its not crazy vinegary and gives the pupusa extra flavor. read more

This is my favorite place for papusas. They make them fresh to order. The toasted corn flavor matched with a variety of meat and other fillings are one of a kind. It is served with their in house mild or hot sauce. In addition to a curtido a mildly tart pickled cabbage, carrot, onion, and other traditional seasoning, that pair nicely with their papusas. I am also a big fan of their fried plantains. They are warm with a mild sweetness that I like to enjoy for dessert. Their beans and rice while good are not my favorite. But this is just my preference,and is the only thing that I don't find as delicious as everything else. This is why I would highly recommend this place. This food takes time to prepare. Keep in mind this place is tiny and not a good sit down restaurant. Four people can probably fill up the entire dining room area. Also keep in mind that this is not a fast food establishment. This place the Pupusas are delicious and they are big also. We called and ordered 12 Pupusas revueltas that were in 45 minutes. Hey were piping hot...they cane with the salsa and the curtido. We also ordered fried bananas OMG to die for! Now I know 45 minutes seems like a lot of time but we did order 12 Pupusas the food is hot and fresh made to order and it's authentic Salvadorian food...plus they have a line always out the door!
