Let me preface this by stating I was a walk-in. The good stuff: They greeted me quickly and professionally, and they had one person working on my feet and the other on my hands. It was great at first. Actually, I was happy all the way until I got home. I stayed an extra 30 min to ensure both my hands and feet were dry. The bad stuff: I was careful to not scrape my hands or feet on anything. But I looked down and just then i see the nail polish on my index finger completely peeled off. In one strip. ‍‍ I was annoyed but it was just one finger so I figured I'd paint it at home (due to time constraints). Then literally 5hrs later as I was making dinner the nail polish my middle finger came off completely too and then I didn't even notice when my ring finger nail came off... but this morning at work, there went my thumb! The only fingernail still painted on my right had is my pinky. Needless to say I won't be returning. :( I don't know if it was too thick? (Like too much polish) or if perhaps the paint was old, or what the cause, but I assure you in all the years I've gotten my nails done, this has never happened before. So something is definitely wrong. read more

My sister and mom were with me at the mall and we wanted to get our nails done. I searched the nearest place and this spot turned out to be right inside the mall! Honestly I had a great experience and the only reason why it's a 4/5 is because I was hoping for an extremely sanitized place. On the first day of my visit LA nails gave to me, 4 crooked nails,3 hours wAiting, two people fixing and two broken nails within a week! In a nutshell this place took 3+hrs to do my nails, another lady had to help her to "fix" it but all she did was go over a shit job ..grinding over the nails that didn't have enough powder in the first place, in 3 days my nail broke in half because this lady "Monica" super glued that part and It didn't dawn on me until it broke, I went back and they replaced it and 2 days later another one broke!!! This is my all-time favorite place to come. I know how to do my own nails, so I am super picky on who does my nails because I don't wanna have to keep telling them what to do . Liz does the best job I have ever had and I never have to tell her to fix anything but if I do, she doesn't complain on top of everything they are all very nice and welcoming and her art skills are the best any time I have a design she is able to do it. The place is clean and everything I never feel like I'm going to get a fungus. The owner is very nice and takes really good care of the place and his customers. I visited LA Nails based on the reviews and photos of the nail techs on 10/2. I got my nails done by a woman ( no name necessary) but after a week and a few days, all of my nails started lifting. I went back to see what can be done and the nail tech didn't recognize me all of a sudden and was asking if she was the one who did my nails I guess trying to deny doing them because of the issue at hand, I'm not sure, that's just my assumption. She put some nail glue under the lifted nails but after a few days they just started lifting again. I won't be visiting again unfortunately, I paid way too much to get such a short period of time to wear my nails. read more

I have been coming to this nail spa 3 times now and my experience has been good to worst. Today I came in for a petticure and the specialists extremely aggressive on my feet. She had cut me twice. I told her she is being rough and if she can be gentle. She laughed and smilled as she said something in another language. She kept forcing her tools between my nail and skin. I watched her hand shake because of the force she was using. I had to end the service quicker skipping on a foot and leg massage. In the end she still charged me for the complete service. Now I have treat my feet with alcohol because I am bleeding on some of my toes. read more

I thought I can try this place as it looks very nice and clean. Worst decision . Ladies are rushing thru the whole manicure/pedicure . I usually go for the message chair. They turn it off when they started applying the gel . The lady the did my nails first put on the wrong color and expect me to be happy with it. I wanted purple she put brown. Asked her to change it and she did but not before she said something and her language which of course I don't understand . The lady the did my feet barely clean my cuticles and didn't even clean the polish around my skin, charged me 5.00 extra for scrubbing my feet for like a minute .
