My daughter went here a few days ago and they didn't even paint her nails right?!? The ladies don't even care, it looks like they use the nail polish from the kids nail polish kit. They missed a few spots and they didn't care. My daughter told me that they were filing her nails and they were cricket and they left it like that. And they charged me $15 just for them to be cricket and not painted well. Please do not take ur child or yourself to this place. This is not what I asked for and she had a bad attitude. I explained more then 3X that I wanted a different shape and she was upset and said she had to leave it because then she had to take off the nail. After she finished she didn't put cuticle oil she just left because I told her that this wasn't what I wanted. I am so irritated this isn't even my style or type of nail that I like. It's very disappointing and she woke up from a nap so she was upset and irritated the whole time. Rude. If you don't like people, here's a tip- don't work in the service industry. The woman who did my toes never once looked at me other than to ask where the color I picked was. She was abrasive when handling my feet and spent maybe 30 seconds cutting my cuticles. She was done entirely (before polish) in less than 10 min. The massage consisted of hastily rubbing lotion on my legs. I usually go to Hana Nails in LB for my mani and pedi but didn't want to drive so I came to the closest place to my house. Never again. Also, they have some awful chime music on repeat that will make you want to pull your hair out. If they were kind and created a relaxing experience for you, maybe this music could help set the tone. They both turned out okay but what I don't like is when you try to rip me off and then are rude to me for not leaving a tip. First of all, I paid for the services and a tip is OPTIONAL. I did not receive exceptional service to warrant a tip. The job was simply done. Nothing special. ANDDDDD, if you OVER CHARGE ME, I will NOT be leaving a tip. I got a gel manicure which was $23. Fine. I got a regular pedicure which is $16 and ok'ed the callous removal , which I believe is tops $5. Yet you charge me $23? Which is the price listed for added on callus removal AND scrub. If I was never asked for a service and did not authorize it, don't f_in charge me for it and then be rude when I don't add on a tip to the card charge!! Also, the lady that did my manicure asked me if I wanted my eyebrows waxed when my eyebrows are naturally arched and done. Rude AF. Lastly, when I paid, it was $46 plus $1 for card use then I was asked twice if I was going to leave "$47 even". YES. She clearly didn't like this and she was rude and didn't even say thanks etc. also, their prices change depending how much they want to charge you. I've gotten the same services in the past and one weekend was one price and the next was a different price. Their total did not match the listed prices on the signs. will NOT be back. read more

No stars given here!!! Horrible 1st experience. I went to get a pedicure and left with bleeding toe. The women cut too close and I started bleeding. When I started bleeding she used the towel I had my feet on! I took out my own tissue to clean it. After she saw my toe wouldn't stop bleeding she dropped some green/blue drops on the cut. She continued working then came back to my big toe and saw it wouldn't stop bleeding- she then put a drop/s of crazy glue to stop the bleeding. I asked her to stop and not touch it - she continued and tried to clean the bleeding with acetone! Never once did the owner/manager come over to apologize, offer peroxide, alcohol, or clean tissue, paper towels or something! When you walk in, the salon does look old and grimy and I do question the sanitation of the establishment. This is not usually where I get my nails done, but i find myself coming back from time to time because they usually do such a great job on my nails. The staff is extremely accommodating and they are always fast. My nails always look perfect when I leave and they do make sure of that. I am a picky girl that usually goes to glamorous salons, but I will come here because it's a block away from my house and the girls here are great technicians. Oh my goodness , now I know why this place was not busy. I had the worst customer service experience here. First, I received attitude when I asked to soak my nails to take of the acrylic instead of scraping it off with a fake nail (she was persistent in using the fake nail after I told her not to, ugh). Then my pedicure bowl overflowed and wet my flip flops, and then they told me they didn't want to do false nails on me because I wanted them to soak my nails.. saying I'm too sensitive . I usually never have a problem with the 2 girls that had done my nails the 2 times I went before, they were so nice and did an amazing job. Yesterday, I went to do my gel manicure and gel pedicure. The lady doing my manicure was nice and understanding, the nails didn't come out good but it happens sometimes, I understand. They lady doing my pedicure was rude when I asked her for the separate prices...instead of answering, she just laughed and said something to her coworkers in their language. Then the same lady that was doing my pedicure tried to put another layer on my manicure and I was trying to explain to her that the other nail lady said if they put too many coats on it'll come off easy but she was not paying attention to me since she was on the phone. Today, I went back to get them fixed and the lady next to the reception desk was completely rude. She fixed my manicure and they looked way better. The bubbles were gone and they actually looked shiny. Then I asked her if she could also fix my toes and without looking at them she said the lady who did them does a good job, and I'm sure she does but I didn't get a good pedicure that time. The lady that was fixing my nails yelled at me and said that I shouldn't go back because it always happens that they have to fix my nails and they don't have time for that (this was my FIRST TIME ever having them fix anything). She yelled at me in front of everyone in the nail salon. I can't even explain how bad of an experience I've had these 2 days going there. I will not be going back. My sister needed to get her nails "did" for a formal and I needed to find a place nearby. Found this gem down the street and we were so glad we went. Theyre not over staffed, overly busy and over chaired like most commercial nail places and they offer similar services for a much better price. Massage chair, Mani and Pedi all for $23!! Plus my manicurist was pleasant, enouraging and friendly and therefore my sister and I had a great time. Overall the staff was happier than I've seen manicurists in my nail days. Recommend bringing cash (there's a small fee for credit card but they do accept it). Plus this was a normal Mani (nothing special like gel or acrylic) and it lasted over a week without chipping!
