I came in for a pedicure walk in and was able to be taken in. The guy who clipped my nails was very unprofessional making uncalled for comments about my toes. He also seemed to be in a big hurry to prep my nails and at one point when removing cuticles from my big toes I saw some bleeding and he seemed unbothered and proceeded as if nothing had happened - very unsanitary. He also did not cover his cough, just carelessly coughing over my feet - absolutely unacceptable. My big toes still hurt after leaving the salon. After going to this nail salon for over a year I was treated very disrespectfully by one of the nail technicians. Kim was obviously having a bad day based on how she was snapping at coworkers which carried to me when I asked a simple question about the color because it did not appear to be the color I chose. I was told she does not have time for me because she has other clients. She also talked to me in a very angry voice when speaking through her mask I couldn't understand what the charge was, I could not decipher whether she said $50 or $60. This was my first time getting a pedicure and my wife's first time at LA Nails. We were greeted immediately and instructed to sign in on an iPad. The place was very clean with great decor. We were seated immediately in a large massage chair and our feet were placed in perfectly heated water. There were 2 large screen TV with music videos on. My technician was very interactive and even giggled when I showed her which nail polish I wanted applied. The scrub and massage nearly put me to sleep. I have nothing to compare LA Nails to but my wife says it's one of the best. We will be back. read more

My 12 year old daughter received a gel manicure at L A Nails in Ramsey on 8/29/24. The next day she went swimming and the gel polish fell off of her thumb nail. I contacted L A Nails by phone and email. I attached photos of her fingers showing the manicure was no longer intact. I requested a return email or call. I requested that they fix my daughters thumb before her first day of school. L A nails did not respond to my messages prior to the start of school. I reached out again 4 days later. At this time I requested a refund for the manicure. The women I was speaking with requested I resend the photos to her phone. After she viewed the photos she stated my daughter's nails where dirty. She claimed the manicure did not last because she was dirty and had oily nails. After insulting my child by calling her dirty, she said she would be willing to fix her thumb. I stated that I was no longer looking for her to fix her thumb. I insisted that the nails were not properly cured and stated that I would like a refund for the service. She refused to provide a refund and stated the only thing she was willing to do is repaint her thumb. When I stated I was unwilling to bring my daughter in and wanted a refund she hung up on me. I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service. I also think it is inappropriate to call a child dirty and blame them for improperly cured nails. Even if my child was dirty, a $50.00 manicure should last more than 24 hours. read more

So.....I was starting to love this place. The staff is very friendly and has a lot of options for colors. I had previous good experience here, but I will not be returning. They have many options for pedicures and I asked for the cool down one. The employee that was doing my pedicure basically said no and told me that I should do this other pedicure, even after I told her twice I would like to try the one I originally mentioned. Whatever. I would still go back after that, but the employee was so rough with me feet. At one point when exfoliating my feet she actually did it so rough that I have an area on my toe that is still healing. I got acrylics done for the first time! They got me in at around 5 min without an appointment. She took her time shaping my nails and making sure the shape and acrylic was good. Another customer came in as she was painting my nails and finishing up so she rushed to get the new customer. She got some polish on my fingers because of that. I still love them and they look good a week later! Acrylics with regular polish was $45 but she gave me a $5 discount. I don't know why. I usually never keep acrylics for a long time bc I always am breaking nails. I'm happy to say I've continuously kept my nails done bc they NEVER BREAK. I have been going here for close to a year now. The above reviews surprised me. First of all the owners, Tim and Kelly, are kind, hardworking, honest people who work all the time---even though it has been soooo slow for them due to the highway, ramp construction--as other local businesses in the area have suffered. With pictures of their kids, over the months they have shared stories of their family and their life...it is truly amazing to hear how much they went through to finally make a life here in America. They are all about working hard to support their family here and back home. Tim is a guy with a half glass full attitude. He likes to use his timely wisely never wanting to leave people who don't call for appt for more than 30 minutes. In a way, I can see why people may think he is rushing but he is not. He is just making sure he gets the job done in case a new client walks in the door. He is actually very funny, more funny than he may even know...haha... And I know he loves his wife for if you ever saw her look at her, it is obvious. He is all about business & they take care of their supplies and equipment. It is so clean in there!! Kelly specializes in nail design! She is a type A perfectionist always willing to try new things or have you choose from her personal designs. These two work long hours and I'm glad it's not too busy in there & don't blame them if no one has come in for hours and leave a little early to see their two young kids. If you haven't gone there yet, give them a try. I can't think of a couple who truly wish to build their business and have the opportunity to get to know the community better. She was very careful not to hurt me while grinding down the acrylic, kept asking to make sure it was ok. Will definitely be going back for a fill in a few weeks. I visited LA Nails for the first time this past Sunday. I scheduled an appointment a day in advance because getting a full set of acrylic nails is no joke. They fit me in no problem. I arrived and they asked me to pick out a color. They have tons of options to choose from - regular polish, gel polish, or dip. I opted to go for a nude with a silver glitter on top (2 gel polishes). Best combo ever. The prep for the nails was like it always is, he filed away the cuticles and "roughed up" the nail bed a little so the acrylic can stick better. The tip application was also standard. I'm not sure if they offer sculpting using the sticker forms. I could tell that my nail tech took his time to lay down the acrylic. I think he nailed the long but not too crazy long coffin look. After the acrylic dried he took his time filing them to perfection. I think for the most part they are straight and aligned with all the rest. Overall I had a pleasant experience at LA Nails. Full set of acrylics plus gel polish cost me $50. I will return for my fill in two weeks. I will update this review after. read more

We went in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was dead. Only the owner and I think it was his wife working. Both of us wanted a manicure/pedicure I thought wow ok this is a block away from home we can try it out. (always forget there in mall) The owner did mine and the woman did my husbands. All I can say is for NO ONE being in the store it felt as if they had 48 people waiting!! it was very rushed. The guy working on my feet and hands was a little rough, and they asked us if we wanted the upgrade includes message. Well that consisted of putting lotion on hands and feet and rubbing it in good there was no "message" about it. I am glad we tried it, however telling them it was our 1st time there and them rushing the process kinda turned us off, not to mention (a pet peeve of mine) is my finger nails we all cut crooked like I did em myself! They were nice enough, but for $100.00 we can find better in the area. read more

So I just recently found out that this Salon was under new ownership -- I can not tell you how happy I am with the Beautiful fill I got tonight. Sophia did the fill for me and we chatted the whole time, I got to forget what was going on in my life for 45 mins!! The whole staff was incredibly friendly, they laughed and seemed like they were actually having a good time at work!
