Our go-to spot for fruit and fruit popsicles. We've probably been there every week since summer started. There's ample parking. The restaurant is no frills just fresh fruit and popsicles. We usually order a big container of cut up fruit with the sauce on the side. You can choose the fruit you want. We usually go with mangos, strawberries, watermelon and pineapple. I'm not sure what's in their sauce but we love it. We've gone to other fruiterias but this place has the best sauce. A little sweet, a little salty, a little spicy... just yummy. We asked what was in it once and the cashier just smiled. We also usually grab a bunch of strawberry and coconut popsicles whenever we stop in. I come here off and on because i live in Mansfield I literally drive 30 to 40 min just to get the FRESAS CON CREMA they never disappoint! Came here with my brother and sister-in-law. Their hours are awesome and perfect for a late night sweet craving! Usually places close around 6 or 7p on a Sunday night, but these guys are open until 10p!! Yasssss. They cater fruit platters which I thought was cool. I will keep that in mind for the future. It's so nice to have found a go-to spot for my Cali/Mexican fix when visiting. I'll probably be stopping by every visit now. It smelled heavily of corn as we walked in, which wasn't too appeasing, but I guess elotes are one of their specialties. All is forgiven. They have a broad menu, so you can try something different every time. The names of some of the items are called something different in Cali, but the ingredients and flavors are the same. Amazinggggg. I come here for everything ranging from the corn cup, to the fresh fruit with chili, or the frescas con crema. I love it! Its perfect for everyone, you can get just a large fresh fruit cup if your being health conscious or a milkshake with icecream and candy if you just want a sweet treat. Its great. They are the busiest on Saturdays and Sundays. But they get your food out very quickly - its worth the line. Tip: The parking lot is very aggressive haha so make sure you use caution when entering! read more

My boyfriend and I come here about once or twice a week on our way home from the gym. This place is awesome to get a quick healthy and guilty-free sweet treat! I always order the #22 which is an assorted fruit cup with yogurt, granola, coconut shavings, and an added drizzle of honey! This is perfect place for some fruit/ elote cravings. This place. Never falls short. I will admit the place is very crowded and to just have two ladies running the whole place is a lot on a Saturday. No more chasing the Paleta man. Growing up in the States every kid knows the sound of the ice cream man truck. The familiar jingles had every kid running first to their parents for money and then to the truck for some cool treats. The funny thing is that when you go to Mexico, there is no truck. Just a cart that some guy pushes with some bells on it. The other difference is that many of the ice cream bars are not made of just flavored water like most of the American standards but rather real fruit and juice as well as the milk based ones. Now a days you can find a Paleta man in most neighborhoods/stores where you have decent Hispanic population. The flavors of Mexican paletas are many and varied. Most are familiar fruits or nuts like Mango, Nuez (walnut), vanilla, fresas con crema (strawberry and cream), etc. Then there are the more adventurous ones like avocado, tamarindo, pistachio, etc. Grab a bunch of different flavors to take home, they are all about $1 ea and the price drops depending on the quantity bought. I'm sure you will find a favorite flavor or two or six. As far as the fresh fruit cups, they are good as well as the shakes they make, like the Bionico. You can see the ladies in the back cutting up all the fruit. Most of the fruit is stored just behind the counter. The kitchen appears pretty clean although the dinning area isn't as nice. My new go to place to satisfy to mexican dessert cravings! I love their frozen mango drink because it's not TOO sweet, just sweet enough! That can be hard to find. I was driving in Irving and knew I had to pull-over to get some paletas when I saw this place. The store was full of spanish speakers and they pretty much only speak spanish even when I ordered (that's a good sign). Luckily I can get by in spanish. We ended up just getting 6 paletas, which were $1.25 each. The cookies and cream were my favorite. We also got spicy mango, rice, and strawberries and cream. All were very good... but about on par of what you should expect from a paleta. They had a ton of other stuff on the menu but I would definitely pick up some more paletas if I'm in the area. read more

Great variety of sweets and savories. I always get the corn in a cup, its corn, crema fresca, cheeses, spices, and lime. Not the BEST i've had but certainly yummy no-less. This is an interesting Mexican ice cream shop in Irving. They serve impressive fresh fruit cups, filled with melons, strawberries, coconut, and other fruits. The fruit cups are normally topped with a chili lime sauce. The sauce was a little much for my American sensibilities, but the fruit was fresh and sweet. They also make their own cream for their fruit cups, their own popsicles, and their own ice cream. All good stuff. Their torta sandwiches are tasty (and huge) as well. read more

Employees were VERY rude. I went here twice with my family when we were on a vacation in Dallas, and the first time, they screwed up three of our orders, and acted like we were the must rude people on the planet. We went back again when we were leaving, and one of our fruit drinks that we got was abysmal. One of the worst drinks I have ever tasted. The ice cream is fine, but still has large chunks of actual ice sticking out of it... and you can get the same brand at the Kroger store nearby with larger quantity, lower prices, and no ice chunks. read more

Honestly this is the WORST paleteria I have EVER been to - taste wise. My sister and I came to grab a pistachio ice cream cone, an elote and nachos; simple enough right? Wrong! The ice cream cone was stale and the ice cream tasted off. The elote tasted soggy, bland and to make matters worse, my sister asked for a little chile, the lady put way too much. Let's be real, the only reason this place is talked about positively is because it's the only one for some miles! Or anything even like it. THE SERVICE HERE IS RIDICULOUS. I was standing at the counter, waiting patiently for about 5 minutes before the lady came and took my order, I know my presence was known and she chose to stand in the back and talk with the other workers ignoring the fact that she had a customer disregarding any urgency. To top it off she was extremely rude, she snatched my card out of my hand out of frustration because I DIDNT SPEAK SPANISH. Yes, this is a Mexican shop, but last time I checked we were in America, and you were the one with the business. Then, I received my corn cup and Frito pie. The queso was cold and tasted stale like it had been sitting out, as well as the chili. It was so gross biting into the cold meat.. I took it back to the counter to ask them to please warm it, or make it correctly and she then again snatched it out of my hand took it to the back, and proceeded to laugh and roll her eyes at me. The women who "work" here act like little girls. They think they are in school rather than a place of business. They are too old to be playing at work. They shld set an example for the teens that frequent this place.
