Depends on what you're getting here, but I'd stick with the sandwiches and pastries. Breakfast/coffee items are alright, pancakes were okay.

Me and my sons went and gave it another chance! And omgggggggg happy we did years later!…read more Order the potatoes with yellow cream YUM my fave dish! We also got lolo saltado was alright needs more flavor since I've had it home made and compare it always to that. Not the same. The chicharron slider was delishhhhhh and with the sweet potatoes in it! Me and my kids loved that and are gonna come back for the and the PAPAS with cream yellow sauce yum! Arroz con pillow was good too! I would order this again but the other two were top tier! Service was kind we also brought my dog and he gave her a bowl of water so sweet (: we didn't even ask. I appreciated that! Ambiance was fine good and clean. Last time I came here they had me wait and wasn't attentive this time they were and glad no wait and glad they acknowledged us. Thought I wouldn't come back but I craved Peruvian food lol

Mama G's: Where Flavor Runs in the Family (and so does the Business)…read more 4/25/2025 - If you've ever wondered what love tastes like in Peruvian form, wonder no more--Mama G's has the answer, and it's smothered in creamy green sauce and served with a side of family charm. This little gem is family-owned and operated, which means your meal comes with a side of abuelita-level care and possibly a secret recipe passed down from someone who could definitely beat you in a chili pepper eating contest. First off, let's talk drinks. The Chicha morada--a purple corn punch that sounds like a Harry Potter potion but tastes like the nectar of Incan gods--is a must. I was feeling a bit more adventurous so I opted for the dragon fruit margarita. Warning: it is dangerously smooth. It goes down easy, so maybe don't go down two in a row... unless you've got an Uber on speed dial. Now, the food. The Causa with chicken is like a potato cake's glamorous Peruvian cousin--it's cool, creamy, zesty, and hits harder than your uncle's karaoke at a family BBQ. The Tallerines Verdes with flat steak? Fire. Literal fire. Pesto's sultry Latin lover. The steak's seared just right, and the sauce is so good you'll want to lick the plate (and then pretend you didn't, but you did). Sure, the decor is simple, but who needs flashy lights when the food is flexing this hard? At Mama G's, the walls don't need to talk--the dishes do all the shouting. Come for the Chicha, stay for the steak, and leave with a heart (and belly) full of Peruvian joy.

It is an impressive campus with a world globe lit up in the Auditorium. Theresa's Italian Steakhouse is to the right of the lobby up the stairs. There is an elevator behind the check in reception desk for accessibility. I had put an almost reservation in, but OpenTable took a bit to send me a confirmation code. We were seated right away anyway. Kevin had the ribeye and I had the $49 prefixe menu, with the Arancini to start, filet mignon with vegetables and potatoes, then the crème brûlée to finish. The appetizer was risotto with a crisp coating. Delicious. The filet was tender and medium - just right. Subtle flavors for all the dishes. For our anniversary they treated us to the dessert, along with a petite biscotti with crumbled pistachio. We walked around afterwards. A nice place to stroll, stretch, jog. The water fountains were a simple and elegant tou

We got our order in a timely manner and the servers were quite attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole time we sat down. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon. I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs since my friend ordered the same, and I found out later the place was known for their meatballs and homemade pasta. The food didn't wow me as much as I would like, and some of the meatballs in my friend's plate had little shards of bone unfortunately. She didn't seem to mind, and the spaghetti itself was tasty and cooked perfectly. My husband's food was seasoned at a decadent level with the bites he gave me. It made up for that pocket of an unfortunate moment. Honestly the highlight for me was the company and the atmosphere: since we came here for lunch, a lot of light was shining through where we were sitting due to the huge windows and I enjoyed it very much! We got dessert (that mostly my husband ate) and the sugar high sealed the experience for me. It was great time sitting with friends. While I wouldn't come back solely for the food, I'd return for the company, upscale ambiance, and good vibes

Best beef sandwich on the west coast!! Chicago dog was perfect!! Pizza did not disappoint! Extremely satisfied with the quality of the food! A total throw back walking in the door. I'm not from Chicago, but it reminded me of the little pizzeria I went to when I was a kid in the80's. Everything on the walls screams the good old days! All the employees were friendly and genuinely happy how excited we were to be there! I was raving about the pizza puffs and the owner threw 2 in our to go bag. top three restaurant experiences! The vibe is really chill, it was decently busy and everything flowed smoothly. If you're a foodie like me and my wife then do yourself a favor and get to Lefty's asap! I took some lame pictures and in no way do they do this place justice. I'll be back for picture redemption soon

Their menu says…read moreit takes about 35 minutes to make and bake their deep dish pizzas, which was fine, and though we arrived a bit early (we were fortunate enough to find street parking quickly), it was ready for us. The gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to pack us extra napkins, red pepper flakes, and parmesan cheese without us asking. We requested for a split-topping pizza: - Gold Coast: Consisted of chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil, and artichoke. The best of the 2 options, though I barely tasted any grilled chicken. - South Sider: Included Italian beef, onions, green pepper, and hot giardinera. Reminded me of an Italian beef sandwich in a deep dish pizza form. While the hot pickled veggies added a nice brightness, it overpowered the rest of the ingredients. By the time we returned from the commute, the pizza was considerably cooler and the crust less crispy. I thought the marinara had good acidity but was missing more seasoning, though I did appreciate the freshness of the toppings. Again, I'd like to give it the benefit of the doubt and come back (if I am ever in the area again) and dine in this time to give it a fair chance.
