Loved the openness, plants, and friendly service. Happy Hour bites were excellent and were 50% off. Ceviche was fresh, flautas were crispy and the queso was piping hot. Washed it all down with a couple of frozen margs and it made for a great time while visiting. Highly recommend and I look forward to returning when I'm back in San Diego.

During the time I've lived in SD, I've come here a handful of times & it is always consistently simple, fresh, & tasty. You can buy individual slices or whole pies, but just make sure you bring cash. Services is fast & friendly, no-nonsense, but efficient. These guys know what they are doing. Bronx has two main dining areas & a couple of tables in the front. You bus your own tables, and tables are first come first serve. Street parking only. The decor has not been changed, probably since they opened, but it's giving "pizza joint that has been around for awhile & focuses on pizza and not trends or frivolous things" - that's good in my book. The vintage pictures of boxers including Ali, Tyson & more are pretty cool. Verdict: if you like pizza, come here! It is affordable & tasty.
