Imagine walking into a traditional panadería... except everything is made just for your pup. From adorable pan dulce-inspired treats to the cutest little churro-shaped goodies, every detail is so creative and thoughtfully done. My favorite had to be the "PAWcífico" beer which is actually beef broth served in a mini beer bottle, and it's honestly one of the cutest things I've ever seen for dogs. They also have the outfits, accessories, toys, and gifts for your furry best friend. The whole shop is adorable! If you're looking for a special treat, this place is such a fun experience. To start, I messaged them on their Instagram page ahead of placing an order asking questions about their order process regarding how to explain my theme to them. I was placing my order weeks in advance. I never received a response, and that should have been my first my clue to go with my intuition and not order with them. But based on pictures they have posted, I thought I would be happy, so I proceeded. I ordered a small custom cake (about $56 ), and I uploaded my theme picture with my order saying our colors were white and blue. I did specify that I was giving some creative freedom but I wanted it to stay with the theme, because I really had no idea in mind for what I wanted it to look like. When I picked it up, I honestly was in shock and had no words, so I just took it and left. When I got home, and inspected it further I was disappointed with it because it's not blue but turquoise and doesn't match at all. The writing is so sloppy you can't make out the 5, and it looks very feminine. The only element from our theme that's on the cake is flowers, on the top and the sides. He's a boy, they could have pulled the bones from the theme and maybe a flower or so but all flowers is a bit odd. I tried calling them three times, and left voicemail, to see if they could at least fix the writing on it. I haven't heard back, and here I am on his actual party day left with this $56 cake for his party and pictures, that looks nothing like the cakes on their instagram. Will not be going back. I'm so disappointed that it took me so long to visit this place! My other regret is not bringing my dog. I ordered a custom cake online for his 12th birthday for pickup. Easy process and reasonable price. I drove to the location and the parking lot was small but I was able to find parking. When you walk in you're treated to clothing racks on either side of the entrance. There's outfits and accessories. Leashes and other pet items. They also have bakery treats as well as cakes for display. They have churros and beers. In the back is a little photo set up. i went to the counter and purchased a couple extra things. This is a Mexican inspired dog bakery, but they also sell cute dog toys, hats and clothes. It is ever so cute and they keep it pretty clean, doggies can bring in junk from the street, but they get to it. It is just an adorable place to get your dog a treat or even a cake and yes, you can special order cakes. Can I say they are tasty--I am not a dog. My babies love pulling up to the bakery. I admit I tasted a cookie and of course it is not sweet, but it was not terrible, after all they are not made for me. Their cakes are just the best. My babies also love any cookie. One of my dogs will eat anything, but my St. Bernard is a snob and very picky. She loves everything there and this is a dog who only eats fresh home made food. I swear she know the microwave and just looks at me like NEVER. The service is great. They love animals and they seem to love their job. Parking is free and it is never crowded. The parking situation here kinda sucks, so just be prepared to wait around a bit or walk. When we walked inside it was also pretty stuffy. I'm not sure if the AC was out or what, but it definitely felt warm in there. That being said, I love all the pet stuff they sell. They have a ton of clothes, toys, beds, and leashes for animals. The treat selection is also hilarious and adorable at the same time. They have pan, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, churros, and even tamales for dogs... like your dog can basically have a whole fiesta I got my dog a birthday cake and a beer cookie, and he absolutely loved both of them. Just a little warning: the colored frosting can stain, so be careful if your dog is eating it on carpet or light fabric. Overall it's a really fun place if you want to spoil your pup. read more

What I love about this bakery is that they offer so many wonderful events to support their community and customers. Not only is this dog bakery fantastic, but the bakery items are on point! Brought my dog in for an event and it was so much fun. It was great to meet so many owners who are equally obsessed with their pets as I am. The staff is so helpful and sweet. Couldn't be happier with the cake I ordered. When I picked it up it was perfect. Just be aware that the box might touch the decor on the way home (my fault). It was an easy fix with some utensils so the gaps weren't too obvious in the photos. Luckily I took a shot of it at pickup. I had to refrigerate it overnight and it was still good next day no discoloration. I've ordered dog cakes from other places that required consumption within hours of picking up. No worries from here. And the dogs LOVED it. I have two smaller dogs and I had to slice the cake so they could eat it. So it was plenty for both of them. Neither dog had any GI issues so I'll be back this week for a second cake! Worth the drive to pick it up. And the place is adorable and has photo op setups for your pup. read more

We found out about this location called LA Pawnaderia. For non spanish speakers PANADERIA is a bakery. It's located down in Downey, in a small strip shop. They have parking outside. So it's a small cute shop, I looked up the site they host pawties for the furry homies. And they make special cakes and of course treats. The treats that they had that day were, Bone broth beers, pawndulce, puercito cookies, masa pawn, and some other baked goods. I love my dogs so yeah couldn't feel guilty about taking them there own box. The staff were dope, friendly answered any questions about the goods. Such a cute place! The front parking is a small lot but there is a bigger lot right next to it and street parking. Going inside it was super cute they seem to have an event going on. It's my Dog's birthday coming up so I wanted to stop by and see what goodies they have. I bought about 3 treats and this cute "Dog Beer" which is just bone broth I was told. The price is really good. All items {4 total} came out to $15ish dollars. My dog is usually super sensitive to treats so I gave him one immediately so if he needed to use the restroom or react I was able to monitor him for the rest of the evening. But he was good! Love this spot! Picked up some conchas and mazipawn for my sister's pups because I was going to doggysit for a couple days and you know AuntieTime = TreatTime!!! They loved the treats so much and I had so much fun shopping here! So many fun treats and cute items. Cat lovers do not despair, they have treats for felines too! So much yumminess for fur babies! The baked treats can be refrigerated to last almost two weeks, but your furry friends won't let it last that long if they have their way. I initially ran across them on instagram about a year ago and I have not left anywhere else since. We drove out there last week for my dogs 5th birthday to get him some doggy birthday treats. I ordered a bandana for my dog. I don't live close, but I wanted to support. I emailed, called and left a voicemail, and emailed again regarding my order. I never heard anything back. I also never received a receipt of order in my email--but they did happily accept and take my money, which is unpleasant. In the end, after about a month of trying to get a hold of them, I had to ask my credit company to get in involved since they would not answer any of my emails or calls. I'm sure the store is great in-person, but if they cannot handle online orders or purchases, then it should not be available. It's wrong to take people's money without a digital receipt of purchase, and then go MIA and never respond to a customer via email and phone. read more

I took my dog along with me for my dentist appointment and realized there was this new dog bakery in Downey that I've seen hyped all over social media!! We made a pitstop to petco for a beach ball (we were going to the dog beach after)! Then headed over to LA Pawnaderia! This place is located right where the Anarchy Library is! I hung out at the Anarchy Library A LOT as a youngin'. Anyways, there is a good amount of parking. I showed up around 10:50am and they had just opened so the parking was ample. You can't miss it, the sign is there with cute pastries painted at the storefront! We walked in a saw a cute little set up with toys, cup o' noodles takes for dog broth, and so many other cute items!! My Golden Retriever, Kealoha, took to the shop right away. We were greeted by an employee along with a dog named Dulce (she's behind a fence set up). They had doggy beer, cute holiday bandanas, fresh pastries, and such an abundant space. I loved their holiday bandanas, sizing availability, and prices! The gal, I feel so bad for not getting her name, knew so much about the baked goods too! I purchased a beautiful green and gold holiday bandana and a paw-ncito pet treat with yogurt!! I definitely want to bring Kealoha back and try more of the items. read more
