Quick service and quick eats! My family and I came to have a quick late lunch/early dinner before exploring the natural history museum. We got seated quickly and served quickly so we were in and out! I think it's a good option for what's around that's quick! I loved the ricotta.

Great food at a classic NY restaurant! Stopped here to get a bite after a day at the American National History Museum and boy were we glad we did!! Was worried we had a long wait to get a table but within 10 minutes we got a table. We ordered the an appetizer, main dish and a side dish (see pics below for b names of the dishes) and everything was delicious! Staff was very friendly and attentive

This place is gorgeous inside and a great location too. But I was a bit let down by the food quality and the price per plate. For a $30 plate of vodka rigatoni, I should have flavors dancing on my tongue. This was instead a bland let down of a dish that I did not feel satisfied after eating. Unfortunate given the staff was very kind and all of the good things I've heard.

Stopped by for lunch with my mom, we got seated right away. The waitress recommended the fried zucchini which honestly were sooo good I can't stop thinking about it. Their pork Wontons whipped ricotta with truffle honey was soooo good. I felt like a savage the way I kept eating it with the bread. We had aperol spritz which were good but I personally felt they could have been a little stronger. For our mains we had the shrimp pasta and mushroom pasta. Both pasta's were delicious and flavorful. The shrimp pasta was lemony and creamy. The food is amazing here! It's definitely pricey and it's in the UWS across from the museum of natural history. Also I'm not sure what lemon diffuser they have in their restroom but I'm definitely going to find it because it smells heavenly and I need it in my apartment.

Excellent Picora next to the museum. Ton of outdoor seating and delicious food. Pastas are excellent and well proportioned. I liked the Rigatoni the best. More outdoor seating than the rest of the Picoras. Only major downfall is 2 bathrooms that are unisex and individual stalls. The line can be 10-20 minutes.

Randomly walked into this place looking for a late dinner. It's been 6 months later and I still think about the artichoke dish. I didn't realize I even liked artichokes, and since this place I've basically ordered fried artichokes every time I see it on a menu just hoping it's this dish. (I haven't found anything that remotely compares). Their crispy fried Brussels sprouts were also delicious. Pasta was fine but if you like your veggies fried, this is for you. 10/10 I would eat both sides again.

Amaaaazing spot in the heart of the upper west side. What a beautiful location to take in the sights and sounds of the area. I went on a beautiful and busy Sunday afternoon and sat in a spot under the shade and fortunate enough to have a front row seat to the world. My server was fantastic, super friendly and welcoming and very cordial. I started with a whipped ricotta and an aperol spritz (torn between that and a Hugo spritz). Later, I asked my server to bring me a spritz of his choosing and low and behind.. A Hugo appeared! Honestly, that one was way tastier than the aperol but both were so refreshing and delicious. Perfect for the day. Not too boozy, cold, just great. For my entree I had the Garganelli. It was really good, pasta was fresh and cooked perfect. Full of layers of flavor, and felt so high quality. However I'm not sure it would be something I'd order again. Totally glad I tried it though. For dessert I... well... I ordered the tiramisu for two. Please don't judge. Could not finish it and can confirm it is absolutely massive. This restaurant is a gem. Must visit if you're in the area!

La Pecora has quickly become our go-to Italian restaurant in New York. Its everything you'd expect from a chain restaurant; consistent, tasty food, and refreshing decor at every place! Service was a little slow at this location and our server wasn't that attentive, but that did not affect our experience at all. Zucchini "Fries" ($15) is a must order appetizer and the Roasted Cauliflower ($17) was delicious as well. We shared the Garganelli ($26) pasta, something I'd highly recommend - the pasta and sharing - as the oil eventually gets to you. They make any pasta of your choice with butter and cheese for the kids, so our little one was happy to satisfy his pasta craving 'per his liking. Noise levels were on the lower end. Overall, a decently positive experience and will definitely continue to be our go-to place for Italian food!

This place was just alright. The appetizers were absolutely delicious, but I wasn't too impressed by the pasta dish (doesn't come with protein! what!!). The vodka sauce just kinda tasted like marinara, but I thought it'd be rude to ask for black pepper. Drinks were yummy, but a bit on the pricier side. The service was a little slow, but it was busy and it is NY after all. I'd probably go back just for some casual dining, but I'd pick another entree.

There is a waitress there that is an absolute delight. She knows the menu like the back of her hand and for that, I'm forever grateful. Her service was impeccable. The food was delicious and my family and I will be back. Thank you so much.

The UWS location of La Pecora Bianca is the real deal -- great food, good wine, and excellent service even with a packed crowd on a Friday night. The meatballs are a must, packed with savory flavor, complemented by a sauce that's zesty and light, with just a hint of spice. M I was equally impressed with the whipped ricotta, really light and subtly sweet, giving a nice balance to the meal overall. This dish might have quietly stole the show, I could have just eaten this and been happy. The pasta mains were top notch, really simple and well prepared -- they let the pasta speak for itself. Definitely a bit pricey, but you get a great meal for the price, definitely money well spent if you like quality Italian food.

It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. I'll definitely be back for happy hour or dinner with friends!

Did you know this is where the Beecher's used to be?! RIP, I miss their Mac n cheese.... the vibe is completely different now (think extravagant Mediterranean vibes, it's very instagram-mable with the beautiful bar area). I had made a reservation for 5:30 (again, life with a baby is very different)- we arrived early but the staff were very gracious and were able to get us seated. They seated us in a side alcove area where they had cushioned seating, which was very helpful. What we Ordered: Drinks: Barlume Spritz and Hibiscus Mule (N/A cocktail)- drinks were good, nothing too special but we appreciated the cute stirrers Appetizer: Halloumi- grilled halloumi with roasted eggplant puree. The saltiness of the halloumi went so well with the creaminess of the eggplant. (Baby liked the eggplant puree too hah) Entrees: Lobster Arrabiatta and Duck Ragu and Truffle Pizza. My husband got the lobster arrabiatta and was raving about how delicious it was. He said it was the perfect level of spice. My duck ragu was served with busiate (a corkscrew shaped pasta) which I thought 'trapped' the sauce perfectly so you get a nice saucy bite each time. Pasta was perfectly al dente- my one gripe is that I felt the duck ragu was a bit too salty, which even managed to overpower the tomato flavor. We shared the truffle pizza, which came topped off with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. I liked the porcini mushrooms on the pizza, this was a first for me. For dessert (which we had to gobble down quickly because baby was starting to get fussy) we got the pistachio cake. SAVE SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH FOR THIS ONE!!! This was my favorite in the whole meal, the kataifi gives it that wonderful crumbliness and it went soooo well with the mango sorbet that's served with it. Recommend for a nice dinner with friends or a cool place to grab drinks! 4.5 stars
