This place was so quaint and fun! The service was always helpful and they suggested a couple delicious after dinner drinks which paired perfectly with our dessert! The chicken was amazing . Def a sexy vibe!

Love a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was top notch. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter knew exactly when to stop by to check in. Can't go wrong w burrata prosciutto. We inhaled that. The pastas were so filling and we had some leftover to take home too.

The cacio e pepe is some of the best I've had in the city. I would definitely recommend ordering.

Celebrated our anniversary at Felice. The restaurant is small but beautiful. The service was great but there were moments where we sat and waited a while, it was a full house on a Monday night. We started off with the Arancini and Burrata. The burrata was excellent! The Arancini had like a dill creamy sauce that was so good! We shared the Salmone and the Branzino. I feel like the branzino was underwhelming, it was missing a sauce. The SALMONE WAS AMAZING! Wow, I'll definitely return for that dish. The staff celebrated us with a tiramisu cake and two glasses of champagne. Such a nice touch! Lovely dinner.

Came here for a solo lunch after a long walk in the park. Got a mezcal cocktail and bruschetta. Enjoyed both. Excited that they are opening a new spot in Flatiron closer to me.

Pretty good food - bruschetta was solid but hoped for a little more. The tomato was just crushed so it was hard not to pull it apart and have one piece with lots of tomato and another with none. The fusilli was super good, with an awesome tomato sauce and the pasta had a great bite to it. The pappardelle salsiccia was a bit disappointing, as it was not very well seasoned, and the sauce lacked flavor. The sausage itself tasted fine. I don't recall seeing any endive in there and the mushrooms didn't really come through. The restaurant itself is nice and vibey, and the staff was friendly, though at times it seemed like the one bartender could've used a hand as he had to help so many people at once and it definitely slowed things down. All in all, good spot. I'd certainly come back.

Reminds me of the neighborhood spots I used to frequent when I lived in NYC. Living there is such a treat for food and wine lovers... so many great places just a short walk away. Love the bar and the cozy, inviting feel of the dining room -- especially with the windows opening right onto the street. This visit, I was downstairs in their private room as a guest at my sister's birthday party. They did a nice job with passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, and the meal once seated was well executed. I ordered the Sliced NY Steak with smashed potatoes -- really good. The main bar/restaurant has a great vibe, and the private room is an excellent option for a party (complete with its own bar). They've built a solid presence with multiple locations in NYC, plus Westport, CT, and a couple in Florida. RECOMMENDED

There were hits and misses on the menu dependent on your flavor profile, I would give it a 4.5. The salads were great and complimentary bread was amazing. I loved the ravioli, but found the pappardelle with Italian sausage and aromatic herbs more tangy than sweet. We unfortunately had a server that was less attentive to us than others. We found that people that came after us received complimentary bread and their mains before us, although we ordered ahead of time. The place is beautifully decorated nonetheless and the staff outside our waitress made up for her inattentiveness.

Had an enjoyable night out seated outside. We had planned to go to a restaurant down the street but I stopped her first to check out the menu, asked if there was outdoor seating available, and so very glad I did. The baked eggplant parmigiana was excellent as a starter. For mains we had the brick chicken (citrus & herb marinated half chicken, rustic potatoes, crunchy artichoke, white wine pan sauce), and the pappardelle salsiccia (sweet italian sausage, braised endive, porcini mushrooms, herbs, truffle sauce). The chicken was divine, well cooked, good portion size, the entire thing was very good. Wished the pappardelle had more meat in it and more of the truffle flavor. Wines by the bottle started at around $70.

Overall, it was a fantastic restaurant week lunch set experience with great food, wonderful service, and a beautiful ambiance.

Tuna Tartare. Doesn't come with bread apparently.

Menu said there was bread. Waiter said no bread. Barely any fish in Tuna Tartare, mostly Beets. This is more like a cheap Poke than anything else.

From the moment we sat down, Sebastian had an incredible energy--welcoming, personable, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk with. What really stood out was how he incorporated his Colombian roots and personality into his service. It gave the experience a personal and authentic touch that you don't always get, especially in a busy New York restaurant. The cocktails were excellent, the atmosphere was great, but Sebastian's hospitality was what really made our visit. He made us feel like more than just another table and added that extra level of warmth that turns a quick stop for drinks into a memorable experience. If you're visiting Olio e Più, definitely ask for Sebastian. Great service, great vibes, and even better hospitality. We'll absolutely be back!

Burrata with Taggiasca olives is a smart touch most places skip. Danilo Galati's kitchen has stayed consistent even as they've turned this into a mini empire (Bryant Park, East Village as of May, plus Chicago and DC). That's rare. Docking a star because the room is loud, tables are practically stacked on each other, and my "15 minute" wait was 40 on a Sunday. Service was warm once seated though, and for the quality the check is fair. Fifteen years in and it still beats most of the newer red sauce spots nearby. Go on a weeknight. Tips: Bar seats are first-come only, no reservations. Walk in at 5:30, order at the bar, skip the wait entirely.

You can either take the stairs or the elevator. If you opt for the elevator, there's complimentary wine set up that you serve yourself. This would be great if the elevator took longer, but you are already there before you can finish pouring. I like that they have couches for you to sit at while you wait for your table. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. The energy felt great here. We ordered the cast iron focaccia and Tuna Tonnato. The Focaccia is probably the best I've ever had. It was light and airy and not what a traditional focaccia would taste like. The crust had a nice crisp to it. It was brushed with olive oil and finished with salt. Just perfect and highly recommend. It came with a tomato chili sauce, which tasted good, but was not needed for this. We ordered the tuna to pair with the bread and it was a great combo. I ended up ordering the hangar steak and it was good. Full of flavor and the chimichurri sauce was a nice touch. Though, I would have like the taste of the beef to come out more. The marinade overpowered the meat IMO. My wife got the Rigatoni alla Gricia. I like the pasta and it was bouncy, but the dish was too salty though. We ended the night with the basque cheesecake and I have to say that it wasn't my favorite. The texture seemed off. Normally basque cheesecake is smooth and creamy, but this was a little lumpy like when you over cook eggs in a dessert. Overall, the service was great and the vibes of the restaurant was on point. The food didn't blow me out of the water, but it was good. I would come back here for the focaccia though.

There are numerous locations now in the city but this was my first time going and I was definitely eyeing it for awhile. They do weekday lunch specials of $14 pastas, boozey weekend brunches for around $24/25(not including food), and $12 Sunday dinner specials on entrees as well as happy hours on weekdays from 4-7pm that include: $7 snacks, $8 wine, $5 beer, $9 spritzes, and $9 wells. I happened to come in for Labor Day Brunch on Saturday. We both said we were going to do unlimited but honestly could only finish about a pitcher of mimosa and they only charged us for the one pitcher was the nice part. I went with Carbonara Pasta and my boyfriend had the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich with fries. I'm not gonna lie, I've never gone to aycd brunch and have not finished my food but I could not finish my entree it was so massive and filling. I haven't had a pasta this rich in ages and it was so so good and I am all for not having those skimpy little portions. He couldn't finish his sandwich either. I tried one of the fries and it was nicely battered thick cut wedge fries. Maybe I haven't been eating out alot lately but I was legit impressed. The staff was wonderful and thoughtful. The cafe in itself is very cute and Italian with black and white marble in the bathrooms, white marble bar top, hanging plants, interesting light fixtures. I'm definitely going to make a point to come back soon.

I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.

The interior was completely packed, and the noise level was high enough for my smart watch to complain. To sample a bit of everything, we shared two orders of focaccia, four pastas, and one dessert. HOUSE-MADE FOCACCIA - 10 Super bouncy with a bit of chew, this was probably the best focaccia I've ever eaten. It came generously drizzled with olive oil and alongside chopped peppers drenched in even more olive oil, which added a nice little kick. We highly recommend starting with this. TAGLIATELLE - 27 Out of the four pastas, this was my absolute favorite. I love the thin yet chewy texture of the tagliatelle, and the bolognese sauce was rich and hearty. Finished with just the right amount of Parmigiano, both the pasta texture and sauce were sheer perfection. PICI 'CACIO E PEPE' - 23 This was such a simple pasta, yet so delicious. It was incredibly creamy and cheesy, with hints of fresh black pepper flavor that blew standard at-home black pepper grinders out of the water. Despite it being the simplest pasta of the night, I enjoyed it immensely. RIGATONI - 32 This pasta was simple yet slightly innovative, featuring sausage paired with a broccoli-based pesto. There was a slight bitterness that was polarizing among our group. While this wasn't my favorite pasta, I appreciated the creativity. PERCIATELLI NERO - 35 This dish packed in more components than just pasta and sauce: plenty of crab, tomatoes, and crispy breadcrumbs on top. However, the combination wasn't very memorable. None of the flavors really stood out, and it was my least favorite pasta of the night. OLIVE OIL CAKE - 14 Served with a pile of golden raisins and fancy whipped cream, this ended up being a bit of a miss. The raisins were a bit too sweet, and the cake's texture was uneven -- some bites were soft and moist, while others felt dry. A couple of others in my group also felt the same way. Overall, I'd give L'Artusi a 4.5/5; it was mostly hits with a couple of misses. The pasta portions are quite small. Since each dish is primarily carbs and sauce, I'd imagine you'll likely need an appetizer or a pasta and a half to leave full.
