Working at North State Hulling on Highway 32 for harvest we are always crunched for time during lunch. Some days we don't get a lunch due to the business of the day. When we DO get a chance, we usually shoot over to Hamiltom City to grab lunch from this place. I have been here multiple times and have never once been upset. I usually order from the Food Truck part outside but can only imagine the restuarant has even more to offer. I've had everything from the tacos, the tostada's to the burrito's. I stopped here on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch. The place was empty - not usually an encouraging sign - but the waitress was attentive and I was hungry, so I opted for the fish tacos and a drink. Boy was I surprised! They were probably the best fish tacos I ever had! Full juicy pieces of fish and delicious toppings. Hmmm hmmm yummy!!! This place gets very busy with locals and familia and amigos. Everybody comes to this place in Hamilton City. They offer a delicious free fish ceviche appetizer. The seafood molcajete tastes so fresh and the added garlic sauce is mouth watering. The tilapia is always crispy. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

I get the El Pastor super burrito every time and the meat is fresh, tender, perfectly marinated...the burrito skin grilled somehow that brings out the sweetness and crisp in its starch....the fried onions on the side (or put inside upon request) like a dog with a bone. All this and a coke for $6.50. If I was more disciplined, I would split it in half and have two meals because it is that big. There's a reason there's always a line. This taco truck is fantastic! Literally the best enchiladas I've ever had. The enchilada sauce is perfectly spiced and delicious. Definitely homemade and not out of a can. Their beans are on point as well. I think they put a pinch of cinnamon or allspice in their rice, which I'm not a huge fan of. Still at $8 for 2 beef enchiladas, beans and rice, and grilled onions..still one of the best meals I've ever had. I come from Orland just to get tacos here. It is worth the drive. Authentic and very flavorful. I don't go anywhere else. My favorite is the tacos de pastor with salsa verde. Comes with grilled onions on the side and the meat is marinated perfectly! read more

Super Delicious. Owner made a good choice on staff because the food tastes freaken amazing!!!! At first I thought the look of the exterior of restaurant was overwhelming and thought I would never eat there. But one evening my husband and I got sick of poor service at El Patio (same owner). We were like, we have to try something different and not have to drive to Chico or Orland. The girl who takes down food orders is hilarious and pretty. I get a kick out of her each time my hubby and I go. :) The owner just needs to work on not having either restaurant understaffed (especially El Patio). read more

This restaurant does seafood right. Ostiones Preparados are oysters with a mixed salsa on top including octopus. Their shrimp zarandeados are to die for. They have great service and aqua fresca to cool off on a hot summer day. read more

I had dinner here for the fourth time a few nights ago. This restaurant is one of the few places that's serves good Mexican style seafood north of Sacramento. The shrimp ceviche tostadas are my favorite. They also have several other dishes that are reasonably priced and actually taste like authentic Mexican food. The food is very greasy and salty! I ordered tacos from the taco truck and they were bathed in grease and oil. I definitely will not recommend anyone here. They have dogs wondering around there taco truck. I went with my husband and we both notice a pile of poop infront of the truck, it was very disgusting and definitely took our appetite!
