Alrighty, so I usually never write reviews but I just had to for this one. I go in order a chicken empanada with fries to start off the lady looked miserable and felt just attitude-y vibes from her. Okay no problems everyone has their off days. I wait for like 30 minutes for an empanada and fries!!! 30 minutes!!!! and on top of that after I leave and am driving home I bite into my empanada only to find out they gave me a beef empanada!! I am allergic/ have an intolerance to beef. I waited all that time to get something I can't even eat. In addition to all this foods trash. Please save yourself your time and your money and if you're looking for a similar dining option go to prontito where waiting for the food is actually worth it. I have ordered from this place for years and it's great until today whoever is in charge of the phone is so rude. This is the first time in a long time I ordered from them and I get really bad customer service. I ordered online waited an hour for it and had to call. The lady told me the app didn't notify them that it was delivery so they were just going to send it. 40 mins after, I still haven't received anything so I called back. The lady tells me that I should wait because I am not the only delivery and there are 7 other deliveries so I should keep waiting with the nastiest attitude as if it was my fault that I had to wait for over an hour and 40 mins for my food that was promoted as "max 45 mins" in the app. So I had to keep waiting for my food because of a mixed up on their end as it clearly states in the confirmation email that I got from that that it was "delivery" with all my information. Finally after almost 2 hours, it arrives and of course, cold and all over the place in the containers. Do not recommend this place anymore. And apparently she is the manager of this place. She was even rude to my bf and hung up on him. read more

If you've ever been to Colombia and have experienced an almighty Colombian hot dog from a cart, you've seen what they can do for a couple of pesos. While the hot dogs here aren't quite the mammoth sausages they serve in the motherland, they definitely do them justice. They're filling, cheap, tasty and come with a ton of toppings. Eggs, Picante, potato chips...well worth it. Take the trek even if youre not a Queens local. If you've been to Crif Dogs (for the food not the bar) you'll like what's on the menu. read more

i work in this neighborhood and come here for a great hamburger combo. Cheeseburger combo- fires and soda is $7. crispy crinkle fries, white cheese on my burger, can of coke.... can't be beat- great burger. not sure if its mozarella cheese or some melty colombian cheese but it has more taste than mozarella. also the meat is not flame broiled I think, possibly so, But it's great- recipe is excellent. my colombian coworker brought me here. he loves the huge hotdogs. anyhow, defnitely will be back for the burgers. i come here at lunch time 1pm so its usually not packed. i'll be back next week for the small mixto - chicken, fried plantains, colombian arepas- corn cakes, and tomatoes good place. you have to wait a while for the burger to cook but for me that's a good thing. this ain't McDonalds. oh and bring cash only read more

I came to this location by accident because it has a very similar name to another place a block away. I had the hot dogs here and although they were good, the wait here is ridiculous. It looks like they only have two people running the whole place. There never is someone already at the register so you have to wait for someone to come and take your order. Then the order it self takes forever as well. It's not worth the wait. They are way to slow here and look like they need more workers. Even days I have come where I called in advance and there not busy I had to wait a very very long time. There's a lot of other Colombian fast food places near by. read more

So I've been here twice now and only for the hot dogs, I've yet to try anything else on the menu and honestly I'll still probably only get the hot dogs each time I go back to. They have an interesting variety of toppings for each hot dog. My favorite so far has blackberry jam then on top of that it has crushed potato chips, cheese, and a number of sauces. It sounds crazy but it works so well. The service isn't too bad, not the fastest but it's also not slow to the point you're wondering if you'll actually eat. I really like the fact that most of their seats in the restaurant are just massive heavy logs. I've noticed that for the most part they mainly speak Spanish so be prepared for that if you plan on stopping there. read more

I'm not a big beef eater. As a matter of fact, I've given up beef years ago, but my friend convinced me to try their burger. I got the Hawaiian burger and was blown away!!! The burger is juicy, whatever sauce they use is amazing and it's filled with crushed potato chips! Who knew! What a great combination. It was so good I just had to go back the following week. The food might as well be ordered from across the continent. My order took over 30 minutes and there was no apology or update.

Ordered food for delivery $28 for a Cubano Sandwich, 2 passion fruit juices (made with water), an "Iraqui" hot dog and small fries. Got a sandwich with 1 layer of ham no pork no pernil nothing as you can see on the picture. The hot dog didn't have the broiled eggs neither the sauce for this type of hot dog. The juices tasted like water with sugar and a little bit of passion fruit flavor. I wonder if the manager or owner knows about this and if they know that their employees handle the food this way. Also I didn't get a receipt and checking the prices they charged me more for the food and like I said no receipt at all. I encourage people to not order food from here so the manager/order try to figure out what's wrong with this business. This is one of those places you go to when you are hungry and most other restaurants are closed. The main problem with this place is the wait. The food is really good and there is a good variety in the menu. It reminds me of a really good hotdog joint in Popayan, Colombia. One of the best items on the menu is the hamburgesa superespecial. Only giving two stars because I feel bad, my husband and I have always loved this place, but it's gone downhill. We kept noticing little things, like the hotdogs got smaller, less papas in the salchipapa, and tonight we noticed the hamburgesa Hawaiiana had a much smaller meat patty than it used to. As for the service, tonight was so BAD. There were two men there, the man working the register and getting orders out was AWFUL! He stared at us all awkward when we came in, even after I said "hi" he kept staring and not saying anything. Finally he snaps out of it and tells us to give him a few minutes. Mind you, we are the ONLY ONES in there at the moment. Remember that. He finally walks up to take our order. First let down, no juice shakes available whatsoever. Ook. We order Hawaiian burgers with Postobon sodas and a salchicriolla. A few other groups walk in at that point. We end up waiting a very long time, see the tray get made with our soda orders and our burgers, exactly the ones we ordered. He calls someone else. My husband goes up to ask what's up, the guy says the papas criollas (the small potatoes) take long and ours is next. But, the next order had a can of a different soda and one burger. He puts the salchicriolla order on THAT tray to hand to my husband, my husband shows him our receipt like hello that's not even close to the order. Changes the soda adds another burger and hands it back. My husband brings it to the table, we open the salchicriolla to find only fries, no papas criollas. But wasn't cooking those the excuse for why that first order wasn't ours? My husband brings this to them, now frustrated. The guy gives him an attitude and awkward response when it clicks that they fucked up, takes them back. They took so long to bring us the right ones that we had killed the burgers and didn't want it anymore, so we sent it back. My husband got his money back and gave him a few choice words about the service, understandable after all that happened, and would have left it there, but this guy started involving another customer bitching about my husband! My husband told the other customer to make sure they don't give his order to someone else, and we left. Unreal. We've been customers for years, but this dude may have just made sure we start frequenting their competition instead. The place keeps rearranging their tables, that's not going to help their business with weakening food quality and such a low level of customer service. So if you're hungry and are in the mood for hot dogs on steriods this is the place to go. I usually get the marinero, i love shrimp, so it's pretty good. My boyfriend likes the al gusto, which is also good, has quite a few things, chips, some "special sauce". I used to love this place and I loved the renovation and all, but I just ordered the maicitos con carne and I was so confused to find that half my more than half my bowl was crushed potato chips and just the top layer was corn and huge weird tasting steak, the meat looked black and it smelled weird. I love, love, love me some Perrada de Chalo! It sucks that they only deliver after 5. The walk to Northern can be a bitch! Fellow vegan/vegetarians get yourself a hawaiiana without the ham or other meat with fries. Delicious! Crushed chips, pineapple, lettuce, tomato, pink sauce (mayo-ketchup) and some green sauce = hawaiiana burger! So freaking good! They also offer the crunch which is a long hero or Italian bread, cut diagonally, put in a press and heated up w the same ingredients as the hawaiiana. This is generally the same as the burger but when you say you're vegetarian they offer you this one first. It's just as awesome as the hawaiiana burger. When ordering, make sure to say you do NOT eat meat -- again for my fellow vegan/vegetarians. Lol for everyone else, my boyfriend scarfs down the hawaiiana burger down in 2 bites! Although he says this isn't the best. I give it 5 stars anyways because they always come thru for my cravings. Ask for pink and green sauce! Burger was dry and had little to no pineapples but worse of all the women working at the counter didn't give me my change and said she would bring it out with the food but when I got my food she didn't mention it nor was she the one who brought out my food and since they take your receipt when you pick up the food I didn't have proof anymore. My review is based strictly off of the Cuban sandwich. First of all they have no business calling it a Cuban sandwich everyone knows a cuban sandwich is roast pork, ham, pickles, Swiss cheese and mayonnaise. This was a ham and cheese sandwich ....two thin slices of ham and a piece of cheese no roast pork no pickles and they used a garlic sauce instead of mayonnaise don't buy this if you are expecting an authentic Cuban sandwich it was horrible and on top of that WAY overpriced. read more

Don't even bother going right now. They are doing reparations which made me and my gfs experience there horrible. They were cutting wood when we were trying to eat and apart from it being extremely loud, there was wood dust flying everywhere. It seemed like they didn't even care that we were there.
