No signage stating that you couldn't sit before you ordered just says "place your order then sit" and honestly if you have a seating problem talk with your manager about adding more or adding a wait list. I don't find it acceptable to guilt the customers for sitting while they order which is a perfectly normal way to run a counter service spot.
