This place was top tier! My family was looking for a good Italian restaurant while we were in Greeley since we didn't know where to go. This one popped up on the top of the maps When we came, we got a salad and it was the perfect size! The homemade pasta is delicious and my husband had a pizza. The crust was amazing! It was so good! The ambiance was perfect, even though it was busy(it was Friday after all), we were seated within 15 minutes or so. We decided to wait at the bar, and had a couple of NA drinks(I had the almond Italian soda-so good!) We were then moved to a booth table per our request. Our server Quentin was great, even though he was tending a very busy bar, he was extremely attentive. He made excellent meal suggestions. Ordered the Italian nachos and an order of the meatball sliders on Saturday. The nachos were fine, however, the sliders were right on the verge of being burnt beyond being edible. My mom and sister live in Greeley and they always take me here when I visit. The service is always great, very attentive. We love the sangaritas. The place is very clean and cozy. Smaller bar. But there are usually seats at it. We always sit in a booth. I got the linguine with a meatball, red sauce with some Alfredo on the side. My sister got the baked chicken parm ($2 off baked dishes on Tuesdays, every day of the week has a different special) my mom had the baked manicotti. Big portions, we had enough to take home. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was horrible. The wait for main entree was long. We ordered the caesar salad and it was okay. Dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle at Walmart. We also order garlic bread and I think that if you just buttered toast at home and sprinkled garlic powder on it, the bread would have tasted better. We shared the chicken parmesan. The waiter asked if we wanted Parmesan cheese, which of course we said yes. The waiter came out with ground Parmesan like you would get from Pizza Hut in the shaker bottle. I think this restaurant could at least give you fresh Parmesan cheese. The chicken had no grill marks, almost like it was boiled and had no seasoning.The crust on chicken also had no seasoning, but had a gross bitter taste. The chickens texture was like raw dough with a bitter taste. The waiter told us that the noodles were just barely homemade, which I can say I would rather have had ramen noodles.This was the second time we ate at this restaurant, which the first was like a year ago. The first time was better than this experience but the chicken dish that we purchased was not very good. We decided to give the restaurant another chance because of the good reviews. We just moved to greeley a year ago and finally tried Santeramos pizza house and it did not disappoint. We went in the afternoon and right when we walked in the atmosphere was perfect. The service and food was also great. Then we had an italian soda, side salads, pizza and raviolis which were all great portions. The seasoning and homemade sauce tasted just right. The staff and food at Santeramos is always superior! The building is absolutely adorable and makes for an excellent family meal.

Baked Mannicotti, garlic bread. Calzone with Canadian bacon, green olives and cream cheese. Italian Margarita We love that this place is still family owned, great atmosphere and clean. The Italian margarita was sweet and refreshing, but a tad low in alcohol delivery for 32 oz. Our meal come out in a timely manner, hot and fresh. Overall, appropriate traditional Italian seasoning was lacking. The crux of the meal ( the sauce) tasted more like a condensed tomato soup than a commanding sauce. Meatball could have used less filler and more time in the oven. Calzone yellow crusted dough was appealing to the eyes, but confusion to the senses, again, lacking some needed home made flavor. The food here is always fantastic. The mushroom ravioli was delicious. There were zero issues making a reservation for a large party. I only have 4 stars because our server seemed a little aloof (new maybe) or maybe she was just overwhelmed because she had several large tables. It just took forever to get our orders in and even longer for the check at the end of the meal. We had to finally go downstairs and ask to pay after waiting quite awhile. We also ended up cancelling our dessert as she never came back to let us know whether it was ready or not. Have been 3x and I will say my last visit was the best one and still just borders on "pretty good". I won't go back to my first two visits and I'll only base my review on the latest. I saw the special walking in the door which was a butternut squash ravioli. I'm a sucka for butternut anything and put it in a ravioli and I'm in...tractor beam locked on! So I order some garlic bread, which was "good", to start with. The ravioli while tasty and fresh was only just like warm and the savory sauce was a seasonal sweet version flavored with nutmeg was a nice compliment BUT being barely warm in most spots and actually cold in others I found myself eating like I was in a prison yard (fast and furiously) to keep the meal from cooling any further. It really needed something to make it pop as well..maybe some roasted hazelnut sprinkled over top??? Not the worse dish in the world and like I said very tasty and a bit of a unique combo. Still I will be back again to try something new and look for my go-to dish. I will say the staff was friendly and accommodating especially considering it was close to closing time. The food was delicious. The Server was very attentive. The price was fair. The decor was good. So why not five stars? They had absolutely NO CONSIDERATION/ ALLOWANCES WHATSOEVER for the HANDICAPPED! Honestly, I struggled to give them this high of a rating because of this. The only reason I didn't turn around and leave was because I was with a good friend who loved this place, was rarely in the area and was unaware of the very high pain I was in for at least half an hour. They have no ramp to use instead of stairs. Okay. I can do a few stairs. Not ADA compliant, but I worked with it anyway. Had over half an hour wait. The place was slammed. There was absolutely no place for a handicapped person to sit and wait. Standing for five minutes is a lot for me. People in chairs could clearly see I was in pain. Then I ended up sitting outside on cement in Winter until I couldn't stand the cold anymore. Came back inside. Stood some more. As soon as a chair freed up a younger person quickly grabbed it not caring about this older person clearly in pain. (Yes, I do have a Handicapped card and a cane.) This is why we have an Americans with Disabilities Act. It should be in effect in every public place. read more

Margherita was great! However, it was slightly too garlicky. 2-3 pieces would be great, but the more you eat it, the more you realize that there's too much garlic. Santeramo's special pizza was good. Wish the peppers were cooked more. Felt like it was thrown on. The mushrooms were also a little limp. Side of garlic bread was awesome. Seems basic but 10/10 recommend. We didn't try any other entrees so we cannot comment on anything of those but we did try a large pizza that was underwhelming to say the least. This pizza had the cheese and all the toppings but was one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. The sauce had barely any flavor, and the crust had semolina flour so it was not crispy. It was a yellow crust and no one had specified that it was semolina flour so my family and I had quite a surprise when we opened the pizza box. So lucky we decided to have dinner here. It's a Victorian house that was transformed into a restaurant. It was so cute. I had the Raspberry~tini. It was super delicious!.. We both had the chicken parmigiana for dinner. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was really good and savory. Not sweet like some Italian marina sauces can be. For dessert we shared a piece of the chocolate cake. Everything was perfection. We will definable be going back. I gave a dinner here for my extended family of eleven (age 2 months to 97 years) in their private dining room. Everything was perfect. The handsome room had a large round table so everybody could talk and have eye contact with everyone else. Our server was a sharp pleasant college student. We served nachos to everyone, best I've ever had. My lasagna was delicious. I think everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Very happy with the service, atmosphere and food. The meatball sliders were good, but the ez-e sliders were incredible. They make them with their in house bread. They ran out of some of the Italian soda flavors, but this was a weekend evening. They have great huge pitcher sized Italian margaritas with all the flavors you could imagine because of the Italian sodas makings. The baked pastas, we got the shrimp in white and the chicken parm in red. Our pizza was great. They even cut it authentically. A suggestion, break off and taste just the crust with no toppings.
