Service is minimal as always. They hire young kids. Don't expect anything. The pizza is the real problem. I use to love this place but it's not working. So many better places. Tried the bbq chicken pizza. Disgusting. Tossed it all out after 1 slice. They need a little help it seems getting things in order and delivering a good pie to customers. We had their Margarita Pizza is thin and crispy. It is perfect for us. the sauce is perfect, the crust had pizza sauce and cheese were almost to the edge. I would definitely drive an hour for this pizza. The server Sloane was very nice and attentive. She is young but she is very mature for her age. She basically ran the out front area. This was my first and probably last time coming here. The service was bad. The waitress was a young lady and she was chatting with her friend the whole time and not coming to the table only to hand us our drinks and food once. I understand it's a pizzeria but don't have people sit down if you won't serve. I'd be more than happy to just come to the counter and grab my food like normal pizza places do. Fast and friendly service in a quaint setting. Definitely more of a lunch spot vibe. The 2 slice lunch special was ok, a little pricier based on other places I have encountered a 2 slice and drink special. Pizza was ok - nothing horrible and nothing special. My hubby and I went for the lunch special, which is two slices and a fountain drink for $12. We split the special and got two different slices, a pepperoni and a square slice. Both were really good, with a beautifully browned crust, and toppings weren't flimsy nor overwhelming. Food and service were great. Not the best slice in the world, but a very good slice for Bluffton. read more

AS good as there is locally, this is NOT a good pizza town but their regular and pan are both quite good. 4.5* probably I only get us take out here, my wife is in love with the Brooklyn Margharita but I think it's too skimpy for what it costs. Regular crust I've had a number of ways and it's really OK, better than most locally. Take out spaghetti & meatballs, etc. is also satisfactory and priced better than the pizzas. Have never eaten in, the help is now settled, was a challenge at first. Beware they use a Toast kind of pay and watch you are not being charged 20% on a pickup. read more

This place was advertised as authentic Italian so we thought - why not? Don't get me wrong it was OK, but was your average pizza joint for a premium price. We ordered a salad (big enough for 2 or 3 people) and it was a basic salad. Good. Served purpose. Garlic knots, large supreme and large pepperoni. Pepperoni is not on the menu so I was charged for a cheese + 3.00 for pepperoni. Service was good and fast. Pizza was average but nothing that I would say I have to go back and have it again. read more

It's an okay place for lunch or dinner. They do give you a lot for your buck. The pizza was good, but the wings didn't taste like anything special and the ranch tasted like it was from the dollar store. I did like the mozzarella sticks. Hubs recently picked up a take out pizza from here. I would give the pizza 3.5 stars. Good sauce, just not a lot on the pizza. Thin crust is my preference but this was maybe just a tad too thin. We had cheese & mushrooms, would have preferred more cheese. I picked up an order of garlic knots last night to go with our homemade lasgana. Excellent garlic knots & dipping sauce was fabulous!! Tried this place for lunch while shopping and while the food was tasty the overall experience was a miss. We were the only ones there and although we were served quickly, the waitress never checked on us again after we ordered, and we went and got our own drink refills, which honestly may or may not be the expectation. The place was also not the cleanest which was surpassing considering we were there when it first opened. I do want to say the cheese pizza (we got the lunch specials) was just as expected (tasty cheese with a thinner crust) and the kids chicken fingers were a very large portion and fresh made. I'd probably recommend it as a take out place rather than an eat in if you want to give it a try. read more

We went there on a whim and was pleasantly surprised, the red sauce was delicious. I had pasta with meatballs ( the meatballs were awesome), the meal was well worth stopping. My wife had the lasagna and the only criticism was that there was to much mozzarella. Will definitely go back!!! read more

If you want homemade Italian food in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area this is the place to go. Some of the best, richest pasta alfredo I have ever had. Fresh out of the pot with melted parmesan and freshly cut parsley and spinach. The bread it came with was also freshly baked with crusty parmesan. I would happily come back. read more

This was my first visit to La Pizzeria and I was sooo disappointed. For the price we paid for a large pizza and 10 wings we could have gone to a much finer establishment. Surprised at the New York style margarita style pizza. Great sauce but crust thicker than normal and heavy. Sausage good but only 1-2 big pieces per slice. Would have been better in multiple small pieces spread over the entire pizza. read more

An update. We decided to give this place a second chance. It was a Friday night. The online ordering from the website did not work. I called to place an order only to get voicemail after about 10 rings. People who have been lucky enough to find the place open say it is good, however I have not had the opportunity to try it. Coming from New Jersey it's hard to find a good pizza place in the area but I can assure you Pizza Hut is a better bet. Besides the pie being soaked in grease and having 3 pounds of oregano the service was also a bit sub par. Almost overlooked this little place hidden next to ulta, my family and I were starving and this was the closest place that had a little bit of everything. Let me tell you, the service was fast and not one complaint about the food. My family has a lot of weird requests when it comes to how they like their food. taking a lot of things out and adding other random things into their meal... the servers were extremely patient, friendly and looked unbothered. The chicken tenders were amazing and such a large amount for the kids size, the spaghetti & meatballs were decent & came with this delicious garlicy bread. My other family members also loved their salads. I definitely recommend this place to others, it was a quick in and out experience & everybody was happy on the way out of the door. read more
