I stopped by to get breakfast with one of my friends earlier in the week. Parking on the lot is limited but there is residential area parking available. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed. They have menu screens at the entrance. You place your order and pay at the front. You are then provided with a number to place at your table. The inside is spacious with plenty of tables for different party sizes. I got the waffle combo because they are known for their waffles. The combo came with a full Belgian waffle, chicken sausage, and two eggs any style. I also added fruit to it. For drink, I got the matcha coconut latte. My friend got the spicy sausage scramble which came with a generous amount of chicken sausage, breakfast potatoes, and a slice of toast. There is a water station next to the register where you can get water and other items. The food was ready in about ten minutes or so. The food smelled delicious as soon as it was placed on the table and it was plated so nicely. The waffles were perfectly cooked and had a slight sweet taste to them but not too overwhelming which was perfect. I didn't feel like they needed syrup, the fruit on top was perfect. The chicken sausage had a good flavor and eggs were cooked just right. I liked the amount of jalapeños that the scramble had and the breakfast potatoes were amazing! The matcha coconut latte was on the sweeter side, so I'll ask for less sweet or half sweet on it next time. The entire staff was friendly and checked on my friend and I a few times throughout the meal. The vibe feels homey. Overall, a great experience and will definitely be coming back to try different items!
I work very close by and would say this is one of the better lunch options in the area for me. Everything is always consistently ready very fast and it's always tasty. There is a small free parking lot right out front, otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Inside is large enough to dine in, but I always get it to go. They do have a pretty large menu with a lot of great options on it and I love that they have smoothies and drinks as well as food items. I have tried a few different things here, but this past order I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and added avocado and honestly really liked it. The ciabatta bread was crispy and the the chicken was perfectly spicy and I just really enjoyed it. The dressing on the side salad was also terrific. I would recommend if you are in the area.
What a hidden gem in West Adams! Casual neighborhood spot with a small parking lot in front. Staff was outstandingly kind and helpful. Order first at the register then you are welcome to seat yourself inside. Excited to see that the breakfast menu is served all day. We ordered the breakfast burrito with chicken sausage and the chicken pesto sandwich. Very quick service, nice plating, and we were overall very impressed with how good and fresh everything tasted! We also tried a hot matcha latte and an iced coconut matcha latte. Both so good! Strong matcha flavor and balanced level of sweetness. + the latte art was adorable! Will definitely be back!
This has been on my "want to try list" for a while, I am glad I did. I was genuinely impressed. The restaurant is in a strip mall, if I hadn't read about it on Yelp, I probably would have passed it without thinking twice. I went on a Thursday morning and parking in the parking lot wasn't an issue. We entered, there was nothing fancy about it, the vibe was relaxed, the place felt clean. We were warmly greeted. I ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee; my partner ordered a latte and a waffle. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. You couldn't help but notice that they made effort with how the food looked. The latte was nicely crafted and had the design of a bird, the waffle looked gorgeous and so did my burrito. I was pleased to see that although the portions were generous, I was getting an oversized burrito that I couldn't finish. I would go back to have that breakfast burrito but there were other things like the breakfast sandwich that also looked good. I am fan!
May 3, 2025 | Downtown: I discovered LA Prime Caffe via YELP! What a fantastic find while in the area! Both delicious food & hot drinks, as well as excellent customer service with a smile! Breakfast Burrito: Yum! It's now my go to every time I visit! The burrito is incredibly filling, as well as insanely flavorful! I love both sauces that the burrito comes with, each with its own unique flavor and adds that extra bite to the burrito, though the burrito is great on its own! I highly recommend! I can usually eat half and eat the rest later, as it's a huge burrito! Extreme Waffle: Delicious & easily shareable! The waffle is so soft & fluffy and with the added fruit toppings, even more flavorful! Plus, there's vanilla ice cream in the middle, drizzled with Nutella... yummy! I also highly recommend this waffle! Matcha Latte: Yum!! Full of flavor, and I was so excited when the cup arrived to the table with a cute little bear design on the surface, super creative Latte Art!! Definitely made me smile big, it's the simple things in life! Haha!! Customer Service: On both visits, so friendly, and I love it! One of the guys at the register even remembered me and the distance away that I traveled to get to this restaurant! Conversation flows easily here! This place gets really busy, as it's super popular & the guys here just keep smiling! Great vibes all around! Menu: Diverse, vegan options as well! I used to live in West Adams 10 years ago, but puzzled as to why I never stopped by here for breakfast. I found myself again in this neck of the woods after dropping off my sister at the airport when somehow my frantic yelp maps search for a waffle lead me to this quaint spot. The facade is very unassuming and you're unsure which door to enter unless you're close enough to catch the sign directing customers to enter through the left most door. Once you enter them, you're welcomed with the sweetest staff of dudes who are very helpful. The menu lists the usual breakfast fare but I came for a waffle. I ordered a basic Belgian waffle, and it was absolutely delectable. I need to come back and take some friends here.
The food was delicious. Ambiance is great. The cashier that helped us was very nice. We will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. Definitely recommend.

I came here around noon on a Friday with a friend. We ordered at the counter and then picked our own seats - it wasn't very busy so we had no issue finding a table. I ordered the Rooibos Tea Latte and the Breakfast Burrito. I LOVE tea art and was so pleasantly surprised when they place the mug in front of me with such a beautiful bird on it! It tasted amazingggg, kept me feeling so warm. The breakfast burrito was DELICIOUS, it came with a side of chipotle mayo and spicy salsa which both proved to be great sauces for this burrito. The entire tortilla was soft, the insides melty and gooey, that's exactly how I like my burritos. For 2 meals (breakfast burritos and drinks), it was around ~$35 and I was sufficiently STUFFED afterwards. There was a small parking lot and street parking (free). I'll definitely be back for breakfast time again!
Cozy, clean, and full of flavor. The hot Matcha Latte with oatmilk was smooth and soothing. The Prime House Breakfast (chicken sausage + over-easy eggs) was simple, saucy, and satisfying. Afro house music and a laid-back vibe make this café a local gem. Order when you walk in. The service is prompt and hospitable.

One of the best breakfast place I have ever been to. It doesn't seem as much at the outside, but trust me, the food is worth it. I would even consider it as a hidden gem. I ordered a French toast combo and a matcha latte. I can't describe in words how amazing the food was, so you have to experience how delicious it was. The service was also impeccable. I love exploring shops around my neighborhood. I stopped by here when I was at a nearby laundromat. I didn't try any food and only ordered coffee since I had my dog with me, dogs are not allowed inside, and they didn't have outdoor seating. This place looks like a nice spot to work or study, but the worker who took my order wasn't sure if there was wifi available for patrons. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The coffee was good but it was a little on the sweeter side. I've read good reviews about the food, but I'm going to have to come back without my dog to check it out and update my review. read more

I decided to order the spinach scrambled plate and oh boy! The eggs had the right amount of spinach with parmesan cheese mixed in. Potatoes were crispy and seasoned well. This will definitely be another go to whenever I visit La Prime read more

This place has great reviews so I had to try for myself. I have heard great things about their breakfast but I had to come and try lunch. Their luck selection is just sandwiches and wraps. I went with the spicy chicken sandwich wish they served with a small side salad. Both were pretty tasty and just the right size where I felt satisfied and not stuffed. The place is small but at the time we visited there was no one else in there. They do close early as they do not serve dinner. Friendly staff and quick service. read more

Thank you Geo and staff for friendly service abs delicious food for me and my mom's breakfast this morning! My mom enjoyed all the food and her caramel latte with beautiful artwork. It was a perfect place to eat while waiting for our appointment at Kaiser nearby. The breakfast burrito was soooo delicious with pico de gallo, added chicken sausage, egg, guacamole, etc and my mom loved her waffle combo with syrup, eggs, and chicken sausage. Best breakfast burritos in the neighborhood! I also took a bite of the breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was delicious! It looks like their waffles are extremely popular so we plan to go back soon to try it. The manager was awesome at checking in on the customers to make sure everyone was happy. He explained they have a huge kitchen so they can prep everything fresh and pride themselves on sourcing only the best ingredients. Oh & their coffee is organic and locally roasted. I got the iced americano (black) & it was really good & 3.75 for a large. My fiancé loved his cafe mocha. The original location is on Sawtelle, I'm so glad they opened a location in West Adams! They have a small private lot, but the street parking is easy. read more

Came to checkout prime cafe as it had some great ratings. The space inside is a little small, so unless you get lucky and get a table you're going to have to wait. For the most part the menu is pretty basic breakfast item, French toast, waffles, breakfast burrito etc I got a breakfast croissant, 6$ just egg and cheese(added bacon for 3$). Overall I would give it a 4/5 just because of the extra add ons, and limited coffee menu. Wouldn't mind trying something different next time. read more

Okay!!!!! This place is solid. I knew I was probably in for a treat when I pulled up into the small parking lot and saw a slew of firemen camped outside smiling and conversing happily together. I parked in front of the liquor store and walked in. I didn't realize the menu was so extensive, so it took me a few moments to get my thoughts together. I ordered the Dolce latte with oatmilk, the caramel latte, the avocado toast with side salad, churro waffle and Prime breakfast with chicken sausages. My total was 50 something. My Dolce latte was delish. I ordered a large for 5 something with oatmilk. My daughter enjoyed her Caramel latte. The Prime breakfast was also yummy. I just wished the chicken sausages had more of a char on them. They were chewy. Everything else on that plate was pretty good. Avocado toast was nice as well. The avocados could have been fresher. All in all this is a good establishment and it's a mile and some change from where I live. It was pretty crowded on a Tuesday morning so I believe others share my sentiments. read more

Really excited they opened up another good breakfast/ lunch spot in the neighborhood. We love having great new spots that we can walk to from our house. We had the breakfast burrito with bacon, and the breakfast sandwich with sausage. Both were delicious. Also really liked the potatoes that came with my sandwich. This place came up in our search so we gave it a try. So glad we did, Waffles were light and fuffly with a little crisp. No skimp on the sides either, very filling .The coffee was fine, however my only issues is there was no refills for regular drip coffee ( why? ) . The cafe was cold( it's raining out ) and No one came by to see if we needed anything. When observing, The condiments were never wiped down, that's unsanitary those issues are the reason they are missing a star. read more

So hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced, with good food and good coffee, but LA Prime Caffe is one of the few, small spot, but service is amazing, food is always delicious, love that it's in Mid City, 10/10 spot that I recommend to everyone! read more

MUST TRY!! Friendly staff and great tasting food. I have been looking for a waffle spot near work, and I found this place! I arrived 5 minutes before opening, and the staff were sweeping and cleaning the entrance. They quickly greeted me and opened the door to let me in.I ordered the "extreme waffle" with ice cream, strawberries, banana, Nutella, and a slice of orange. Additionally, I got a dulce latte with oat milk and condensed milk. The latte was promptly served, and the waffle arrived a few minutes later. And, yes, I finished it all. read more

Finding this little gem was a great call! We ordered right when you walk in, and their menu is pretty inclusive! The decor inside was quite cute. I had the breakfast burrito with a matcha latte and my friend had the french toast combo with an oat milk latte. The food was great. The service was kind and welcoming. We waited probably 5-10mins for our food. Seating is limited but worth it! Definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

The service was quick and friendly. The staff puts care in making their coffee which is evident once you start drinking it. The potatoes were well seasoned and crunchy. One of the few spots on Adam's that has parking it's just share with other shops. read more

The location is a bit hidden with limited parking. Despite that, omggggg!!! The hidden gem I didn't know I needed to find. From the walk thru the door the staff was attentive, prompt and accommodating. I ordered the green tea matcha latte... heavenly!!! And so cute!!! I ate the spicy sausage scramble which was a generous portion but chefs kiss!!! Really good and tasty!! I wanted to go to a place where it's not overcrowded low key but not compromise and quality... prime cafes did that!!! This place is fire! I must have driven by 100 times and never saw it because it's towards the back of a mini plaza. The restaurant is not fancy, lots of grab and go customers, but the food is delicious and the lattes are yummy. The chat latte was so good and the barista made a cutea little bear with the foam :) I ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it. My friend got the French toast which was perfectly soft, not soggy. Both were plentiful. I didn't try them, but the waffles also looked amazing. Will definitely try them the next time :) read more

Cute cafe. Great service. Yummy food. You order and pay for your food at the front register. Take your #, sit down and your food will be brought out to you. Matcha green tea latte - sooooo cute and delicious Waffle combo with chicken sausage - waffle was perfectly cooked & yummy. Chicken sausage was very flavorful. He said it was a little spicy but it could be way more spicy to me. I would definitely come back to this local gem. Oh and parking is easy! read more
