French Toast, Special Burrito, Orange juice, Buttermilk Fried Chicken

This place is so delicious! I order the Special Burrito that was well seasoned and filling. Quick service and attentive staff. There is a small parking area, but you can also find parking on the street. There is seating outside and ample space inside too. Stop by and support your local mom and dad restaurant.

Stopped by Fresh and Yummy and tried the Cubano sandwich -- glad I did. They serve both Mexican and American food. I love a good club sandwich which is my go-to when I see it on the menu, but the Cubano also caught my eye. Our server was super sweet, and she steered me to the Cubano. I loved it - I could really taste the pork, it wasn't smothered in mustard, and the seasoned fries were excellent. My partner had chicken and waffles, and he said that they were excellent. He then ordered the Churros for dessert. I am not a dessert person, but I could not resist them. They were crispy and not too sweet and slightly addicting. The place itself was clean, relaxed, and lived up to its name. Based on other reviews, I was expecting something decent, but it actually exceeded expectations. Definitely worth coming back for another round. I am glad it is located close to where I live!

This place is alright. Expensive for basic breakfast and lunch. On the other hand this place is nice and the food is presented beautifully. The staff is very friendly and our server would check on us frequently and refilled my coffee 3 times. I really enjoyed my breakfast burrito and country potatoes and my wife liked her chicken and waffles with an iced horchata latte. Our check came out to $48 + tip. Parking is a hassle here. There is a small lot which is usually full but the spaces are super cramped, risk getting your car dinged. There is also an under ground parking right around the corner which is also a pain. I usually walk here or park around the corner in the neighborhood.

We woke up hungry and wanted to get a satisfying breakfast. Fresh and yummy is within walking distance, even better. We walked in and greeted warmly. We were promptly seated at a table. The menu has a huge variety, even coffee. I ordered a matcha latte and my boyfriend ordered the coconut matcha latte. I ordered the California omelette and it is served with a side order of potatoes and a toast. Perfect brunch for me. My boyfriend had the 2 eggs with French toast, also served with a side of potatoes. The price is reasonable and the vibe in the restaurant was lively. Would love to come back to try other menu items.

Pictures from two separate experiences here! First time trying, I ordered pick up for breakfast, the staff was so kind and the little bit I was inside seemed like such a fun vibe. My omelette was delicious as was the bagel sandwich, both were hot and fresh. Dining in was just as delicious! And once again, super friendly staff. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Great tasting food, French toast, carne asada omelette, Parmesan fries all delicious

Highly recommend this restaurant! Love finding eateries to support in the local neighborhood. Amazing friendly and very attentive staff. Delicious tasting food and fresh juices. Everything we had was so good, come and try. It won't disappoint!

We love coming to this restaurant. The food is amazing. The service is exceptional. Allan and the other waitresses are very attentive. We come here about 4 times a month and we are always choosing something different from their menu and nothing disappoints. The music playing is great, not too loud and we love looking at the way they have decorated. We only wish they would be open till slot later. But we are either there for breakfast or lunch times.

They are so sweet and helpful. The service was fast and excellent! The food was delicious and portions were perfect. We order a horchata frappe and a breakfast burrito platter for $30 including tip! The shop is clean and super cute! Our server was really helpful and informative. We will be back when we visit California again. Thank you!

We were shopping in the area, and we stumbled upon this really nice little cafe. Breakfast served all day, and that is what we were in the mood for. the staff was extremely welcoming when we walked in and noticed how clean and bright it was inside. Placed within a two story corner strip plaza, this place does not have curb appeal, but do not let that be deceiving. I went with a veggie omelet nicely prepared with cubed potatos and whole wheat toast. We had an order of avocado toast. and one breakfast burrito. Each was extremely flavorful. Clean bathrooms and outdoor space to sit.

This is the #4. I added 3 more eggs
    Avin G.

Ordered: combo #4 2 egg 2 pani 2 bac 2 sau with an Arnold palmer. I added 3 extra eggs. This restaurant is located in L.A., 5450 W Pico Blvd #105, Los Angeles, CA 90019 I arrived at 12:15 pm. I was the only customer in the restaurant. I was greeted a few minutes after I walked in. I was given the option to sit where I wanted. I chose next to the window. The chairs were fold up chairs, and the table was a vinyl top. Felt like a backyard gather with no people. I ordered, and food came out within 10 minutes. The food was hot, but my cup was empty for the duration of the meal until she came to get my plate. The sausage was good, mostly Jimmy dean's, bacon as well. The eggs were loose but okay. This place did not wow me at all, and most like with not return.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was presented really well. The enchiladas were flavorful, the grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the tortillas with the short rib were a table favorite. Portions were great for sharing, and the sauces really tied everything together. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us throughout the night without making us feel rushed. It did get a little busy, so there were a few waits between courses, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall Great atmosphere, solid food, and a fun place for birthdays or date nights. I'd definitely come back!!

Cute building with lovely patio seating: from the trailing hanging pothos plants, Spanish tiles, to relaxing latin-house music the vibes were welcoming. I'm not much of a drinker though, when asked if I wanted to make my pina colada a "float" I thought incorrectly about ice cream. It was graciously explained that you take an additional shot of rum and float it on top of the drink or mix in to make it extra boozy. The pina colada is top notch they hollow out a real pineapple to make the drink and it's the size of your face! The watermelon cocktail was delicious and there is also a mezcal option. Tasted like if a watermelon aqua Fresca was combined with a margarita, there is a hint of salt that brings out the fruit sweetness. We special ordered a bunch of different proteins and vegetables at half portions to make a feast: Aguachile- Light refreshing starter, kanpachi perfectly marinated and great for the summer heat. Crispy potato- Phenomenally done fingerling potatoes. Whipped beans- Carnitas on top made this dish. Fried chicken tacos- Found the chicken slightly on the dry side, if there was a creamy/thicker sauce would be even better... nothing wrong with flavor, good mild heat. I did enjoy the fresh shredded cabbage and carrots, reminded me of bahn mi. Empanadas- Loved the acidity of the sauce that cut through the fattiness of the ground meat. Light shell. Crispy Squash flower- Delicate crunch, like an angelic version of a jalapeno popper. Lamb chops- Definition of "treat-yourself" luxurious meat lollipops. Celery salad- Simple dish but the lemon flavor and tartness really helped break up the richness of other dishes. Churros- Light crunch and small, petite dessert. The thin caramel sauce is addicting. Fine dining, for those special occasions or if you just want to splurge for a morale boost highly recommend this restaurant. Valet parking or park across the street or around the corner in a lot for $5-10.

Located between Koreatown and Pico-Union, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience from the moment you're seated. My wife and I both ordered the Mole Coloradito with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. One detail we really appreciated was being able to choose between white meat or dark meat--a thoughtful touch that lets you customize your meal to your preference. The mole was rich, complex, and full of flavor, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant known for its Oaxacan specialties. As a welcome appetizer, they bring fresh chips and salsa to the table, but what really impressed us was when they replaced the salsa with their incredible mole sauce. It was so good we found ourselves dipping everything into it. Both meals were served with rice that was perfectly cooked with a great consistency and flavor. For those feeling adventurous, give the Chapulines (grasshoppers) a try. They may sound intimidating, but they were surprisingly enjoyable and added to the authentic experience.
