    House Salad
    Sam M.

"I'm stuffed from bad pizza" The ambiance was great- low light, good tunes, these folks really know how to set the mood. Waitstaff was friendly and professionals. Bartenders were great! Very generous with their pours. Ahh, but the pizza tho.. so thick and doughy. it felt like a battle with each bite. Almost as if I was eating raw bread dough rather than a pizza crust. We ordered a house salad and 3 pizzas to-go: A margarita, sweet sausage, and white. The margarita was a glorified cheese pizza but with less cheese for $2 more. The first bite was delicious, but the rest tasted like cardboard. The sweet sausage was a bit better, but still not great. Upon sinking my teeth into it, I was disappointed then greeted with a very sweet aftertaste. The white pizza was much better- lots of flavor between the balsamic and prosciutto. Overall, these pizzas may not have tasted great but their presentation was stellar! Can't forget to mention that the house salad was delightful, by far the best part of our meal!

Delicious food! We had The tomato's and ramps appetizer, the house salad, and the Sweet sausage pizza and the clams & garlic white pizza and we shared the Ricotta Gundi. All great! Yum! Service was awesome and the Ambiance on point, I will definitely go back.

Came back again as we are frequent customers. Always a great safe place to bring friends and…read morefamily. Never ever a bad or adequate meal, hence the opposite--- always a memorable, enjoyable, tasty, beautifully plated presentatin. Last night the 4 of use shared the now back in season watermelon salad adn the vongol veraci to start. Each of us had a different dish and were so very pleased, not one issue. Sicilian caponata, pollo pistachio, tuscan pasta, 12oz prime new york strip and I LOVED the halibut special. Each again was beautfilly prepared, and plated. For dessert as we had our arms twiseted by Jimbo--- we shared the Tiramisu and Bourbon Toffee Cake between the 2 couples. Jimo is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love this place, time and time again a 5 Great Review.

WOW!!! The restaurant was truly that good! And, made my birthday dinner with my family memorable…read more First of all, I was impressed to see a 5 star review with over 2600 reviews (on "Open Table") but now I get it and am adding my 5 stars as well. Very deserving. I don't even know where to begin bc they hit it out if the ball park for us. Our compliments to the chef!!! So I have to start with my Pork Chop...omg...perfect. Rocco's closed down in Newtown, PA and their pork chop was the best...this pork chop was right up there with Rocco's. The mustard sauce, unique topping, was amazing. I am thinking about it today and my mouth is watering. My husband's veal was probably the best he has ever had. The most tender veal ever with a delicious marsala sauce. Then there were the pastas and seafood...all delicious. Oh and the calamari. It was all so darn good. Kyle was our server and he added to a perfect dining experience. He answered our questions, described the choices right on, made recommendations, he was friendly, had a wanting to please attitude and my 13 yr old granddaughter was crushing on him. (Haha). Wish all of our servers were that effecient and good. Gotta love a BYOB! The restaurant is modernly decorated and very comfortable. High energy kinda place. Noise level was high but all restaurants are loud these days and it really wasn't too bad. It was our first time at this restaurant and even though it is a bit far...we can't wait to go back. It is a pleasure to support a family run business. The owner came to our table and you could see her pride and we also felt our business was appreciated. I see why every table was full on a Sunday night. I just wish this place were in our neighborhood!! Love love love it!!!

I don't consume garlic which can be difficult at an Italian restaurant. I had an alternative choice if they couldn't service my first choice, Veal Parm. The owner came over to say "hi" which was nice. It appeared to be"touch" each table with direct communication, nice touch nowadays. Well they were so gracious and were able to make an alternative tomato sauce that was delicious. We were early enough that it was neither noisy nor crammed. Service staff is wonderful. Manners(remember those days when teens had manners), friendly, checking back to make sure everything was good, tended water glasses. We received an initial salad with home made dressing 2 choices I tried the balsamic, tasty with not too heavy on the balsamic. I can't wait to go back, we all were able to take left overs, just enough to have a taste again today. The real semolina bread, delish. Arrive early and they only seat you when the whole party is there. Good idea at a popular shore restaurant. It's a BYOB I believe, they do serve wine, don't drink so didn't see the list.

Robert is an amazing chef and host, always checking on diners and pitching in to help the servers when they're short staffed. Everything I've eaten here is fantastic. I do tend to lean toward pastas with seafood, while my husband tends to order chicken or veal dishes. These come with a side dish of pasta with marinara. We are always satisfied with our meals and always have leftovers to take home. All meals come with a small salad and bread with oil with fresh garlic included. You can always add a protein to the pasta, even if it doesn't show on the menu. It's BYOB, so bring your favorite wine and enjoy your dinner!! And leave room for dessert, they always have great choices, and have coffee and cappuccino (including decaf cappuccino!!) as well.
