    Breading was nasty

So bad I wouldn't even give it a star if it let me. the wings were the worst wings I have ever eaten. they breading/batter wasn't even cooked. the sauce was on the side. It's like they made no effort cooking anything. The pizza was the biggest hot mess of garbage I even seen. they couldn't even get fries right they were soggy & gross

I placed an order on Slice.com....which was a large chicken parm sub and fried calamari. The calamari was over cooked and dried out. It was crunchy. The chicken parm was actually fried chicken tenders on a sub with cheese and sauce. Total garbage! I will NEVER order from here again!

Food came quick. That's where the good ends. I ordered veal parm. Veal had no breading, noodles were hard, and sauce was bland.

On a lazy weekend morning in search of caffeine, we found Habibi Motor Cafe - a cute, modern,…read morebright coffee shop with tons of seating for remote work opportunities. The look of the space alone draws me in to visit, but the coffee is so good as well. Their specialty latte flavors all sounded amazing, but we opted for the tiramisu & the white chocolate raspberry. I appreciate a cafe that makes their own syrups/flavors, and the taste at Habibi's reflects that. I loved having real raspberry puree instead of an imitation syrup, and the flavor of the tiramisu latte was spot on - not too sweet, just how we like it. The coffee was bold and smooth, and I cannot wait to return and try the rest of the menu!

Being Middle Eastern myself, I liked the unique concept and knew I had to stop by when we were in the area. We arrived around 5pm and it was extremely loud & busy. The atmosphere and seating gives relaxing environment, but in reality, there were people with laptops (on a Saturday), kids running around, and generally the acoustics inside aren't great. Nonetheless, we placed an order and grabbed a table. I got the Iced Crème Brûlée Latte which was very well executed. It's rich, bold, and had notes of vanilla and burnt caramel. They definitely nailed the crème brûlée flavor. Even the Cortado was nicely presented and soothing. I liked that the flavor profile in the espresso was not overpowered by the milk or extraction process. I was also bummed that they didn't have their cool cups that say "Habibi" on them! Their branding is one of the things that caught my eye about them and it sucks to see them switching to nonbranded cups (assuming for cost reasons). Overall, it was worth a try!

(The most alarming part of this statement should be that businesses in 2016 still use fax machines.) Xtreme Healthy Café is still attached to the Xtreme Fitness center next door and has remained open in spite of the gym's closure last year. Not really a standalone restaurant, this business has managed to stay afloat by catering lunches to local businesses and by serving breakfast and lunch to Raritan Center convention attendees and employees who work on the Raritan Center campus but are too lazy to venture farther for more exciting lunch options. Because of its remote location in the desolate industrial desert that is Raritan Center, Xtreme Healthy doesn't see enough customer traffic to justify being open for dinner or even on weekends. For a fitness center café that no longer has a fitness center, the food and service are mostly passable, but there are better choices at better prices outside of Raritan Center. Unless you work nearby and enjoy bumping into coworkers, there's really no reason to ever come out of your way to eat here.

One has to walk past where one orders, all the way to the back to look at the menu, and get drinks, then back up front to order and pay. In the end, it came down to the food itself. While not bad, it's not great. It is just average. With the interesting array of ingredients in their offerings, I just felt like I should taste more flavor and more textures.

It is a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and cute simple decor that has a communal feel. The specials menu had some fun and exciting choices for st Patrick's day! There was also a listing for blueberry pierogies which we decided we just had to try. I think the concept is exciting and new- but the inside of the pierogies were only blueberries which weren't very sweet. We thought it could be even better with the addition of a sweetened ricotta, cream cheese, or mascarpone inside to compliment the berries. There was a drizzle of some kind of icing which was tasty and went well but there wasn't enough of it. We ordered our meals from their regular menu. They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference. I probably wouldn't get the omelet again because it was kind of a lot happening at once, however, next time I go I think I definitely would like to get the pierogi platter they offer because I enjoyed the kielbasa and pierogies so much. My sister got a strawberry arugula salad with crispy chicken. I did not try it but I tried a piece of chicken and it was deliciously crisp. She said everything was really good and the strawberries were perfect and ripe. My mom, who got the protein pancake with fruit on side agreed. My other sister got a tuna wrap which she also enjoyed. I also like that they do a 1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade with your choice of flavor. I got the raspberry and it was delicious - not too sweet but the flavor was there. Our waitress was a gem and we never felt rushed.
