This was some really good pizza, like really good pizza. Perfect crisp, with a great amount of cheese to sauce ratio. Nice old school feel to the shop, brought me back to HS. We did 1 plain pie, 1 bbq chicken pie, salad and meatballs for out New Years Party. The salad came dressed, which can be a bummer if the lettuce wilts, but luckily everything held up. The pizza from here was voted second, the meatballs third. The meatballs were just so overdone with oregano, and stewed to a near much consistency... not good. The pizza was much better, and I liked the bbq sauce they used on the bbq chicken pizza. Price wise- they place was totally reasonable. Nice local option. read more

Nicolos is consistently good with their pizza. I've had the regular, pepperoni and it's always fresh. Today I tried the chicken Alfredo one and it was amazing! I asked if they could make it since it wasn't on the menu. Since I ordered an hour before closing, I wasn't expecting perfection, but it sure was! Would absolutely recommend to anyone. BOTTOM LINE: Great Broccoli White Pie with Ricotta! I wanted to review this place because it has so few reviews, and sometimes you can't trust Yelp when there haven't been that many reviews yet. My GF and I ordered out from here for the first time yesterday, and we only got one pie, so take what we say with a grain of salt. The pizza crust was excellent - a little chewy, with the right amount of breadiness and crisp to the crust. They also have options for Sicilian, thin crust, and pan pizza for those who want it, but we did not try those. Since we got white pizza, we do not know how their sauce is. The cheese was very yummy, and they were generous with the amount of cheese and ricotta - almost too generous with the ricotta to the exclusion of broccoli. We asked for extra garlic on the pizza and they delivered on that front. All-in-all, we were very satisfied with the pie. The location looks a little run down, but the pizza counter and dining area looked clean and pleasant once inside. The two guys working there at the time I came to pick up also seemed really nice. PRICING: The Gourmet large pie we got was $16 which seemed reasonable, or a little pricey, considering there was no sauce even. I stopped by for a quick bite on my way between business appointments. I'm a big advocate of Buffalo Chicken pizza and heard that they had the best in the area so I had to try it. Boy was that a good idea! The pizza was hot and fresh and the chicken was nice and spicy, enough to almost make me sweat a little. Lol. Great experience with their catering service. We ordered eggplant rollatini, Stromboli, chicken francaise and penne pasta as well as some pizzas. Nicolo's suggested food amounts so that we had more than enough, but not too much. Everything was ready when promised. Most importantly, our guests raved about the food! They must have changed their recipe because the crust was delicious. Thin and not too doughy. I could actually taste the ingredients. I used to live a few blocks away from Nicolo's and it was where Friday night dinner was bought from. They had something for everyone and everything was delicious! We live on the West Coast now and my wife and I stil mention ordering from Nicolo's as a joke. Great food, good prices and large portions. I bought a coupon card from local children trying to raise funds but Nicolos has them peddling misleading deals and when I called to complain the manager Denise hung up on me. If you are going to use coupons to raise awareness for your business do not have misleading coupons. Very disturbing that Nicolo's uses children this way. The ham burgers are terrible. And on a weird bread ,there was hair in my food and the bacon wasn't fully cooked. This place used to be really good . But the past couple of months every time I get food from this place I'm wishing it comes out better. And I'm never pleased. I won't be ordering from them anymore because they don't even take pride in the food or preparation. It just seem like it's always rushed. Everything in the place that's cooked is starting to get really bad. I think they need to do something different. Or there gonna lose a lot more customers.
