The guys back there are cooking really good food and not messing around while doing so. I placed our order through their website and headed for pick up. There were a few other people waiting for food. We had to wait a little while which didn't bother me. You can tell they're making the food fresh. We ordered crunchy tacos, and an al pastor and asada quesadilla. We also got an order of Esquite. The quesadillas also came with steak fries, I haven't had steak fries in so long and I love them. Everything was really good. I'd ask for no mushrooms next time but other than that, we'd go back. I hope they continue doing business.

The chips were thin and airy, the guacamole was beyond fresh and flavorful. The Steak Charrasco was tender and perfectly cooked. The Elote corn and Birra tacos were really good. I was a little leary of the location (Mobile) but they were originally operating from a food truck and I guess it's good financial decision to make baby steps towards an actual restaurant, which they absolutely should. Of course if you're looking for a dining experience, this isn't for you but if you want great food at reasonable prices for a night in or lunch, it's perfect.

I haven't been to El Sabor Latino in a long time and the last time it was only for breakfast. They have expanded the restaurant tremendously since the last time I was there. I remember it was half the size. A lot more tables a lot more booths a really big bar in the back. It's a very large, welcoming, inviting space. My server was exceptionally friendly and she let me know it was taco Tuesday, so of course I had to get some. I went with two Birria tacos and two Carne Asada. All four of them were very yummy. For dinner, I decided to go with the camarones ajillo with the white rice, pinto beans, and tostones. My meal was exceptionally good. My only one little complaint would be that I didn't have enough white rice to use all that beautiful sauce and eat all those beautiful beans. I was initially going to order a few items but after tasting my first ordered, I ended up ordering way more than I could finish in one sitting. The people there were really friendly and completed the order pretty quickly. When the locals eat there, you know the food has to be good! I first ordered the Cachapa With Picanha and Queso De Mano for the main, and Venezuelan Cheese Tequeños for the appetizer. The Cachapa paired perfectly seasoned strips of savory beef with a mildly sweet maize pancake [with some bits of corn kennel texture] folded over some cheese. The tequeños were delicious stretchy cheese wrapped in a slightly sweet pastry. My meal was so good that I added an order of empanadas: a Venezuelan Beef Empanada and an Empanada de Pabellon. Both contained shredded beef in an empanada pocket but the latter had the addition of beans and plantains. If it sounds delicious, it's because it is! They both went well with a red sauce that was spicy (but in a complex way) and some white sauce. Really glad to have discovered this place.
