    X-Large cheese pie.

Amazing pizza and great service. NY style pizza by the slice or whole pie. I placed an order to go and had a slice while I waited. The slice was hot and crisp. Got eggplant parm to go and my friend said is was the best she had ever had. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This pizza is awesome! Very delicious. We ordered the chicken Alfredo with spinach. The crust isn't thick or thin...it's just right...and delicious! Sit inside or outside. They have a full bar, and lots of TV's to watch sports. Friendly staff. Comfortable environment. And a great location off of San School Road (next to Trophy Club).

We got takeout pizzas from La Scala. They were great. Made to order and the guys working there were super nice. Everything smelled amazing. It wasn't busy for lunch on a Saturday. i took a picture of their seating area but there were lots of people ordering to go. I bet they get a big work office crowd because it is really located in the middle of the Solana office complex.

Undercooked. Flavorless. Rubbery cheese. A lot of air bubbles, not properly docked or proofed. Learn to knock back the dough. La Scala, the most famous opera house in the world. In Milan. La Scala means stairs. This pizza was definitely down stairs.

I was at a work conference in Westlake for two weeks earlier in June and I have to say this spot was the trip's saving grace for food. I was limited in my options because I was staying at the Hampton with limited vehicle access aside from Uber/Lyft to get food after work each day. My co-workers suggested I try this place and it did not disappoint. I have to say the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and the stuffed garlic mushrooms were awesome. The meal was cooked perfectly in texture, with the noodles al dente, and the sauce was creamy and savory with subtle hints of garlic and butter. It was rich and definitely filled me up for the night. I have to say I have tried so many different italian spots throughout Vegas where I live and this spot is one I will miss. I ordered the spicy mussels in conjunction with the mushrooms and pasta to try as an appetizer and they were delicious as well! The pomodoro sauce they were cooked in had a nice seafood tang and it was full of flavor. The service was a little slow, but I think there was only one chef in the kitchen. The food, however, was well worth the wait.

Atmosphere is nice and open with plenty of bar seats as well as communal high tops and standalone tables. Nice outdoor patio when Texas weather permits! Tried a couple of their beers: Miso Smooth (Japanese rice lager - 5.5% ABV) and Soul Fire Ultra Light (American Light Lager - 3.7 ABV / 15 IBU). Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! There was also a cupcake place (Kid Kakes) that seems to get great reviews, but with Oak St Pie Company just a few doors down... well... sorry Kid Kakes! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years. All-in-all a great impulse decision after The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ line ended up being far too long to wait in!

I got a new try, Brisket Grilled cheese with lightly fried onions and a sweet BBQ sauce, American cheese, on a Hawaiian bread. A great combo that was flavorful. When we arrived, we were told our only immediate option was to sit outside in 99-degree heat. Otherwise, we would have to wait another 20-25 minutes for an indoor table. That completely defeated the purpose of making a reservation. It was embarrassing because I had planned this celebration, expecting the reservation to ensure the seating I requested. If indoor seating wasn't actually available, that should have been communicated before we arrived so we could have made other plans. To make matters worse, the dark-haired hostess was dismissive and offered very little help. The blonde hostess at least seemed to understand our frustration and showed some empathy, which I appreciated. A reservation should mean something or if standard does not mean indoor, there should be an explanation. The hostess stated they can't see what you select as far as seating which doesn't seem to make sense. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed before our celebration even began. You lost 6 customers today!

The music selection and volume were equally well done, balanced in a way that felt welcoming to every generation. At one point, I almost felt like I had stepped into the bar scene from *The Shining*, not in a creepy sense, but in that nostalgic, timeless atmosphere kind of way. The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The green apple slices tasted incredibly fresh, like they had just been picked from the orchards of Apple Hill in California. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.
