7:30PM June 19, 2026…read more Meat To Go! Do you like barbecuing? How about just making your own fresh dishes at home? Need something to make your hot pot or barbecue special? This is the place! Just keep in mind that everything is high quality & with high quality means you are spending extra cash money $$$. This lowkey spot is facing the north bound side of las tunas close to a dominoes pizza. In between Ardmore Dr & Santa Anita St. Across from a hospital(San Gabriel Medical Center) Right next to Dumplings To Go[They have good dumplings there too]. Parking should be easy on Las Tunas but if it looks packed then you can easily go to the back between Ardmore dr & Santa Anita behind dominos and walk around to their only entrance in the front. Once inside on your right you will see all the different choices of food from cuts like A5 Japanese Wagyu to lamb skewers. They also have tofu, mushrooms, condiments and other hotpot essentials. They accept both cash and card inside. No restrooms. Just buy what you like and go. All of their quality meats are your average tastiness; food tastes better than your regular grocery stores. During summer you can find their Summer Skewer Special only on Fridays Saturdays & Sundays in the back. I between believe their hours are 3PM-8PM some times they open later like 9PM CASH ONLY for this special time. I been coming here for two years for their ribeyes by snake rivers farm and angus prime. Well now since they started their skewers cook out, I had to suggest to them(last week) to have their Wagyu skewers. bomb! They specialize is fresh meat to go. They just added wet aged wet two months ago. tender! Thank you Tim for being such a good man! Renata you are great grill master.

You go in, pick the raw skewers you want from their huge selection, and they pack everything fresh for you. They've got a wide variety of meats and marinades, so it's easy to mix and match and try different flavors in one meal. Everything looks fresh and well seasoned, and once you get it on the grill it gives you that legit street BBQ skewer feel at home. It's perfect for gatherings or a weekend cookout because all the hard work is already done for you. The only downside is the price. It adds up pretty quickly, especially when you start grabbing multiple skewers because there are so many good options. Definitely more of a special occasion or group meal type of place rather than an everyday buy. Still, for the quality, convenience, and the variety they offer, it's a really fun and unique spot when you're craving skewers and want something different from the usual.

It's not "fake" American wagyu that's barely prime grade either--the marbling is a perfect balance between the richness of Australian/Japanese wagyus and a regular prime. The staff here are generally friendly and very helpful, and work hard to get you what you want. The only issue I've had over the years was one of the older guys behind the counter charging us for something much more expensive than what we actually asked for, and we had to drive all the way back to get a refund. Not sure what the deal was since we ran into him when getting the refund and he seemed annoyed rather than apologetic lol. But! Aside from that, everyone's great. When they're busy, grab a number from the corner and they'll call. There's a great selection in the case of just about every type of meat including fresh seafood. Bought a slab of Icelandic cod today as well because it looked so nice. If you order a lot, they'll ring you up in the back, otherwise they'll let you bring it to the front checkout to pay.

For the meal, I also made some keto-friendly spaghetti that I tossed in butter, pasta water, and freshly grated Parmesan reggiano. The customer service with Chris was impeccable and they spend the time to answer questions. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.

I would definitely order it again and again and again. The muffin that you are initially served is very tasty and the butter that it comes with I could eat by itself. When we finally asked a server that was standing close by but never came over until I asked if she was our server, we will just call "C" replied, "Yes, unfortunately." Not exactly the best first impression. Her next comment was, "You have 3 minutes to get your happy hour order in," which made us feel rushed instead of welcomed. As for the food, we upgraded to the Wagyu surf and turf. Unfortunately, both the steak and lobster were chewy. The wedge salad was actually the highlight, although I specifically ordered it without blue cheese dressing or blue cheese crumbles, and it still came covered in crumbles. She offered to remake it, but we're just not the type to send food back. We were dining with three other couples, and only one person enjoyed their ribeye. Everyone else commented that their steaks were chewy and had an odd texture. The desserts were very good, and the ambiance was nice, but overall it wasn't enough to make up for the service and disappointing food. One last tip: save your money on the $24 Old Fashioned. It tasted no different than the $12 version. Overall, we probably won't be back.

So I decided to try this market. I think they opened about a year ago. It's in a small strip mall across the Arcadia county park. As soon as I got in, I was greeted by a very friendly lady behind the counter. I told her it was my first visit there and she talked briefly about what they carried. I said I wanted steaks I can cook easily on the stovetop and perhaps finish in the oven. I'm used to getting ribeyes or sirloin but she showed me the Picanha. She was very informative about the different cuts of meat and told me the Picanha actually can be more tender than the sirloin. So I purchased 2 packs (4 pieces total) for $29. Priced reasonably since Vons across the street is about the same with less quality cuts! Omg I just finished cooking them and yup! They are so good! Will definitely go back here! The place is clean and everything is packaged neatly. They even have beef tongue (lengua) and oxtail! Woohoo!

When you enter the store, they will default to speaking to you in mandarin, but you can ask them to speak English. They're quick to pack up your order and even gave me a small bundle of cilantro as a gift. Maybe it's because I came later in the day or because we bought a good amount. We tried the normal beef, premium beef, lean beef, and premium beef tongue. I would say the normal beef a bit too fatty for my liking, but that's why they offer the lean option. The premium beef is between the lean and normal beef in terms of fat to meat ratio. It's well marbled. They ran out of normal beef tongue so we had to get the premium. Pricey but delicious and definitely our favorite. Although I've never had bad beef tongue before. Overall, everything was fresh, containers were labeled, and service was quick. Prices are fair as it is still a lot more economical than going to a restaurant. They take credit card with a minimum purchase. Parking is available and shared among all the shops in the plaza.
